Maintenance
CHANGING PROBE AND CALIBRATION
In case of probe is malfunctioned and need to be replaced with a new one, follow below
procedure to calibrate the probe to reach it’s fully function.
Change the probe:
• Turn off the system.
• Screw loose the sealing nut, remove the malfunctioned probe from system.
• Connect the new probe , insure the indication point on both connector is matched,
screw tight the sealing nut.
Calibration:
• Turn off the system
• Press and hold both and simultaneously to enter factory mode.
• Select <Calibration>, press .
• Follow the screen instrution, restart the MX500 system.
*Calibration needs to be done every time when :
1. change a different probe
2. firmware upgrade.

There might be addition and/or modication of functions after initial release. We will release
updated version rmware for system upgrade.
To check the current rmware version:
• Turn off the system
• Press and hold both and simultaneously to enter factory mode.
• Select <SW version>
• The rmware information will be displayed.
To update rmware:
• Turn off the system.
• Copy the rmware le to a SD card, then put inside the system.
• Press and hold both and simultaneously to power on and the system will start
updating procedure automatically.
• When rmware update is done, the MX500 videoscope system will power off
automatically.
UPGRADING FIRMWARE
**Please "always" have insert tube plugged in when you execute calibration or firmware
upgrade.

The X500 Videoscope System is in conformance with the requirements of the European law on
the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive. This means that our product is both
lead-free and without the hazardous substances either in the manufacturing process or in the
nal product.
RoHS Notice
This Mitcorp product is warranted to be free from defects in material and
workman shop for 1 year from the date of purchase. Mitcorp agrees to repair
or replace the product, at its own option and at no charge. This warranty
shall not apply to any product, which has been subject to connect to a faulty
accessories, alteration, negligence, accident or to any product which has been
installed other than in accordance with these instructions.
Warranty is subject to void under unauthorized attempt to disassemble the
system unit, insert tubes or modication of any kinds, even attempted only, of
the system. Mitcorp will not be responsible for damages caused by following
situations:
• Defaced, modied or removed serial number label or warranty seal
• Modications of components without Mitcorp’s authorization
• Damages caused by natural phenomena or uncontrollable forces, such
as lightning, ooding, re, earthquake…etc.

All insertion tubes made by Mitcorp had passed following liquid immersion test:

Chemical Compatibility
- This product is designed for industrial use only. Do not use the
system for human or biological inspection.
- Do not use the product in medical facilities, airplanes or
environment with explosive atmosphere like fuel tank or other
dangerous environment such as a gasoline or alcohol storage tank.
- Do not use any corrosive liquid for cleaning, such as alcohol.
- Do not try to disassemble this product, it might cause damage or
electric shock .
- Please use only recommended components or accessories.
Unapproved accessories and components may cause damages.
- If the equipment is used in a manner not specified by the
manufacturer , the protection provided by the equipment may be
impaired.
- Never replace the battery by yourself. RISK OF EXPLOSION IF
BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT TYPE.
