After installation work has been completed, explain the “Safety Precautions,” use,
and maintenance of the unit to the customer according to the information in the
Operation Manual and perform the test run to ensure normal operation. Both the
Installation Manual and Operation Manual must be given to the user for keeping.
These manuals must be passed on to subsequent users.

WARNING

This mark is for R32 refrigerant only. Refrigerant type is written on nameplate of outdoor unit.
In case that refrigerant type is R32, this unit uses a ammable refrigerant.
If refrigerant leaks and comes in contact with re or heating part, it will create harmful gas and there is risk of re.
Read the OPERATION MANUAL carefully before operation.
Service personnel are required to carefully read the OPERATION MANUAL and INSTALLATION MANUAL before operation.
Further information is available in the OPERATION MANUAL, INSTALLATION MANUAL, and the like.

Anincorrectlyinstalledunitmayfalldownandcausedamageorinjuries.
• Donotaltertheunit.Itmaycausefire,electricshock,injuryorwater
leakage.
• Theunitmustbesecurelyinstalledonastructurethatcansustainits
weight.
• Theapplianceshallbestoredinawell-ventilatedareawheretheroomsize
corresponds to the room area as specified for operation.
• If the air conditioner is installed in a small room or closed room, measures
mustbetakentopreventtherefrigerantconcentrationintheroomfrom
exceedingthesafetylimitintheeventofrefrigerantleakage.Shouldthe
refrigerantleakandcausetheconcentrationlimittobeexceeded,hazards
duetolackofoxygenintheroommayresult.
• Keepgas-burningappliances,electricheaters,andotherfiresources
(ignitionsources)awayfromthelocationwhereinstallation,repair,and
otherairconditionerworkwillbeperformed.
Ifrefrigerantcomesintocontactwithaflame,poisonousgaseswillbe
released.
• Ventilatetheroomifrefrigerantleaksduringoperation.Ifrefrigerantcomes
intocontactwithaflame,poisonousgaseswillbereleased.
• Allelectricworkmustbeperformedbyaqualifiedtechnicianaccordingto
localregulationsandtheinstructionsgiveninthismanual.
• Do not use intermediate connection of the electric wires.
• Useonlyspecifiedcablesforwiring.Thewiringconnectionsmustbemade
securelywithnotensionappliedontheterminalconnections.Also,never
splicethecablesforwiring(unlessotherwiseindicatedinthisdocument).
Failuretoobservetheseinstructionsmayresultinoverheatingorafire.
• Wheninstallingorrelocating,orservicingtheairconditioner,useonlythe
specifiedrefrigerantwrittenonoutdoorunittochargetherefrigerantlines.
Donotmixitwithanyotherrefrigerantanddonotallowairtoremaininthe
lines.
Ifairismixedwiththerefrigerant,thenitcanbethecauseofabnormalhigh
pressureintherefrigerantline,andmayresultinanexplosionandother
hazards.
Theuseofanyrefrigerantotherthanthatspecifiedforthesystemwill
causemechanicalfailureorsystemmalfunctionorunitbreakdown.Inthe
worstcase,thiscouldleadtoaseriousimpedimenttosecuringproduct
safety.
• Theapplianceshallbeinstalledinaccordancewithnationalwiring
regulations.
• Thisapplianceisnotintendedforusebypersons(includingchildren)with
reducedphysical,sensoryormentalcapabilities,orlackofexperience
andknowledge,unlesstheyhavebeengivensupervisionorinstruction
concerninguseoftheappliancebyapersonresponsiblefortheirsafety.

heaterorportablecookingrange,poisonousgaseswillbereleased.
• Donotusemeanstoacceleratethedefrostingprocessortoclean,other
thanthoserecommendedbythemanufacturer.
• Theapplianceshallbestoredinaroomwithoutcontinuouslyoperating
ignitionsources(forexample:openflames,anoperatinggasapplianceor
anoperatingelectricheater).
• Donotpierceorburn.
• Beawarethatrefrigerantsmaynotcontainanodour.
• Pipe-workshallbeprotectedfromphysicaldamage.
• Theinstallationofpipe-workshallbekepttoaminimum.
• Compliancewithnationalgasregulationsshallbeobserved.
• Keepanyrequiredventilationopeningsclearofobstruction.
• Donotuselowtemperaturesolderalloyincaseofbrazingtherefrigerant
pipes.
• Whenperformingbrazingwork,besuretoventilatetheroomsufficiently.
Makesurethattherearenohazardousorflammablematerialsnearby.
Whenperformingtheworkinaclosedroom,smallroom,orsimilar
location,makesurethattherearenorefrigerantleaksbeforeperforming
thework.
Ifrefrigerantleaksandaccumulates,itmayigniteorpoisonousgasesmay
bereleased.
