The Diamond Voice 56UE fax
modem is an excellent solution for
users requiring an easy to install 56K
modem solution for PCs and Macs
with USB support.
The Diamond Voice 56UE is a small-
size modem that is powered from the
USB port, so no external power
supply is required, simplifying installation and minimizing
desktop clutter. The 56UE is excellent as a DIY solution, the
external design coupled with Plug and Play operation make it a
breeze to install.
It can be used with Windows 95 (OSR 2.1 or greater only), 98,
Millennium Edition and 2000 as well as Apple Mac OS 8.5 and
above. The 56UE supports both the V.90 ITU standard and the
56K Flex standard, as well as previous standards such as
V.34. It is fully Hayes command compliant.
