1Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Diese 2-Wege-Lautsprecherboxen mit ovalem Design-
gehäuse sind speziell für den Einsatz in ELA-Anlagen
konzipiert. Sie sind mit einem Übertrager für den Betrieb
an 100-V-Anlagen ausgestattet, können aber auch direkt
an einen niederohmigen Verstärkerausgang angeschlos-
sen werden. Die Leistungsanpassung erfolgt mit dem
Drehschalter auf der Gehäuserückseite. Die Lautspre-
cher können als Standboxen aufgestellt oder über Mon-
tagebügel an einer Wand festgeschraubt werden.
2Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
DieLautsprecherboxen entsprechenallen erforderlichen
Richtlinien der EU und sind deshalb mit gekenn-
zeichnet.
●Die Lautsprecherboxen sind nur zur Verwendung im
Innenbereich geeignet. Schützen Sie sie vor Tropf-
und Spritzwasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze
(zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0–40°C).
●Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes,
weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Chemikalien oder
Wasser.
●Werden die Lautsprecherboxen zweckentfremdet,
nicht fachgerecht montiert, falsch angeschlossen oder
überlastet, kann keine Haftung für daraus resultie-
rende Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine Garan-
tie für die Lautsprecherboxen übernommen werden.
3Wandmontage
Sollen die Lautsprecherboxen an einer Wand aufge-
hängt werden, erst den Standfuß abschrauben. Die Hal-
teschraube (5) ist von unten zugängig. Dann den beilie-
genden Montagebügel mit den beiden Schrauben (1)
und (5) festschrauben.
4Elektrischer Anschluss
WARNUNG beim Einsatz in 100-V-Anlagen:
Im Betrieb liegt berührungsgefährliche
Spannung bis 100V an der Anschluss-
leitung an.
Achten Sie auf die richtige Leistungsanpassung. Eine
falsche Anpassung führt zur Zerstörung des ELA-Ver-
stärkers! Die Summe der Leistungen aller angeschlos-
senen Lautsprecher darf die Verstärkerleistung nicht
überschreiten.
Sollen die Lautsprecherboxen endgültig aus
dem Betrieb genommen werden, überge-
ben Sie sie zur umweltgerechten Entsor-
gung einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
1) Falls die ELA-Anlage eingeschaltet ist, diese zuerst
komplett ausschalten!
2) Die gewünschte Nennleistung mit dem Drehschalter
(2) einstellen oder beim Betrieb an einem nieder-
ohmigen Verstärkerausgang (≤8Ω) den Schalter in
die Position „8Ω“ stellen.
Vorsicht! In der Position „8Ω“ auf keinen Fall den
Lautsprecher in einer 100-V-Anlage betreiben. Der
Lautsprecher und eventuell auch der Verstärker wer-
den beschädigt.
3) Die Anschlussklemmen (3) mit dem Verstärkeraus-
gang verbinden. BeimAnschluss von mehreren Laut-
sprechern darauf achten, dass der Verstärker nicht
überlastet wird und dass die Lautsprecher alle gleich
gepolt werden (schwarze Klemme = Minuspol).
Bei dem Modell ESP-6HQ kann alternativ die
SPEAKON®-Buchse (4) angeschlossen werden. Der
Stecker muss wie folgt angeschlossen sein:

Den Stecker in die Buchse (4) stecken und nach
rechts drehen, bis er einrastet. Zum späteren Her-
ausziehen den Stecker entriegeln und dann nach
links drehen.

Pair of Speaker Systems
for 100 V or 8 ΩOperation
Please read these operating instructions carefully prior
to operating the speaker systems and keep them for
later use.
1Applications
These 2-way speaker systems with oval-shaped design
cabinet are specially suitable for application in PA sys-
tems. They are equipped with a transformer for opera-
tion at 100V systems, however, they can also be direct-
ly connected to an amplifier output of low impedance.
The power is matched via the rotary switch on the rear
side of the cabinet. The speaker systems can be set up
as standing cabinets or mounted to a wall via mounting
brackets.
2Important Notes
The speaker systems correspond to all required direc-
tives of the EU and are therefore marked with .
●The speaker systems are suitable for indoor use only.
Protect them against dripping water and splash water,
high air humidity, and heat (admissible ambient tem-
perature range 0–40°C).
●For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, never use
chemicals or water.
●No guarantee claims for the speaker systems and no
liability for any resulting personal damage or material
damage will be accepted if they are used for other pur-
poses than originally intended, if they are not expertly
mounted, not correctly connected, or if they are over-
loaded.
3Wall Mounting
For suspending the speaker systems from a wall, first
screw off the base. The holding screw (5) is accessible
from below. Then tighten the supplied mounting bracket
with the two screws (1) and (5).
4Electrical Connection
1) If the PA system is switched on, switch it off com-
pletely before connecting it!
WARNING when using 100V systems:
During operation, there is a hazard of
contact with a voltage of up to 100V at
the connection cable.
Observe the correct power matching. An incorrect
matching will damage the PAamplifier! The total power
of all speakers connected must not exceed the ampli-
fier power.
If the speaker systems are to be put out of
operation definitively, take them to a local
recycling plant for a disposal which is not
harmful to the environment.
2) Adjust the desired nominal power with the rotary
switch (2) or, for operation at an amplifier output of
low impedance (≤8Ω), set the switch to the position
“8Ω”.
Caution! In the position “8Ω”, never operate the
speaker in a 100V system. The speaker and possibly
also the amplifier will be damaged.
3) Connect the terminals (3) to the amplifier output.
When connecting several speakers, make sure that
the amplifier is not overloaded and that all speakers
have the same polarity (black terminal = negative
pole).
Model ESP-6HQ: Alternatively it is possible to
connect the SPEAKON®jack (4). The plug must be
connected as follows:

Connect the plug to the jack (4) and turn it clockwise
until it locks into place. For removing it later, disen-
gage the plug and then turn it counter-clockwise.

Veuillez lire la présente notice avec attention avant le

porter ultérieurement.
1Possibilités d’utilisation
Ces enceintes 2 voies avec boîtier au design ovale sont
spécialement conçues pour une utilisation dans des ins-
tallations Public Adress. Elles sont équipées d’un trans-
formateur pour un fonctionnement sur des installations
100V mais peuvent également être reliées directement
à une sortie basse impédance d’amplificateur. L’adapta-
tion de puissance s’effectue avec le sélecteur sur la face
arrière du boîtier. Les enceintes peuvent être posi-
tionnées comme enceintes droites ou être vissées sur
un mur via des étriers de montage.
2Conseils importants d’utilisation
Les enceintes répondent à toutes les directives nécessai-
res de l’Union Européenne et portent donc le symbole .
●Les enceintes ne sont conçues que pour une utilisa-
tion en intérieur. Protégez-les des projections d’eau et
éclaboussures, d’une humidité d’air importante et de
la chaleur (plage de température de fonctionnement
autorisée : 0–40°C).
●Pour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un chiffon sec
etdoux, enaucun casde produitschimiques oud’eau.
●Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dom-
mages matériels ou corporels résultants si les encein-
tes sont dans un but autre que celui pour lequel elles
ont été conçues, si elles ne sont pas correctement
montées, branchées, ou s’il y a surcharge ; en outre,
la garantie deviendrait caduque.
3Montage mural
Si les enceintes doivent être suspendues à un mur,
dévissez tout d’abord le pied. La vis de serrage (5) est
accessible par dessous. Ensuite, vissez l’étrier de mon-
tage livré avec les deux vis (1) et (5).
4Branchement électrique
AVERTISSEMENT pour une utilisation dans des ins-
tallations 100V:
Pendant le fonctionnement, une
tension de contact dangereuse
jusqu’à 100V est présente au
câble de branchement.
Veillez à adapter la puissance correctement. Une
adaptation erronée endommagera l’amplificateur Public
Adress ! La somme des puissances de tous les haut-
parleurs reliés ne doit pas dépasser la puissance de
l’amplificateur.
Lorsque les enceintes sont définitivement
retirées du service, vous devez les déposer
dans une usine de recyclage adaptée pour
contribuer à leur élimination non polluante.
1) Si l’installation PublicAdress est allumée, veillez à la
débrancher totalement !
2) Réglez la puissance nominale souhaitée avec le
sélecteur (2) ou, dans le cas d’un fonctionnement à
une sortie basse impédance d’amplificateur (≤8Ω),
mettez le sélecteur sur la position “8 Ω”.
Précaution ! Sur la position “8 Ω”, ne faites en aucun
cas fonctionner le haut-parleur dans une installation
100V. Le haut-parleur et éventuellement l’amplifica-
teur seront endommagés.
3) Reliez les bornes de branchement (3) à la sortie am-
plificateur. Si plusieurs haut-parleurs sont branchés,
veillez à ce que l’amplificateur ne soit pas en
surcharge et que les haut-parleurs aient tous la
même polarité (borne noire = pôle moins).
Sur le modèle ESP-6HQ, la prise SPEAKON®(4)
peut être utilisée à la place. La fiche doit être confi-
gurée comme suit :

Reliez la fiche à la prise (4) et tournez vers la droite
jusqu’à ce qu’elle s’enclenche. Pour retirer ultérieu-
rement la fiche, déverrouillez-la puis tournez vers la
gauche.

zioni prima della messa in funzione e di conservarle per
un uso futuro.
1Possibilità d’impiego
Questi diffusori a 2 vie in una cassa dal design ovale
sono stati realizzati in modo particolare per l’impiego in
impianti PA. Sono equipaggiati con un trasformatore per
il funzionamento con uscita audio 100V, ma possono
essere collegati anche direttamente all’uscita a bassa
impedenza di un amplificatore. L’adattamento della po-
tenza avviene tramite una manopola sul retro. I diffusori
possono essere collocati sul pavimento o fissati alla pa-
rete per mezzo di staffe di montaggio.
2Avvertenze di sicurezza
Le casse acustiche sono conformi a tutte le direttive ri-
chieste dell’UE e pertanto portano la sigla .
●Le casse acustiche sono previste solo per l’uso all’in-
terno di locali. Proteggerle dall’acqua gocciolante e
daglispruzzi d’acqua,da altaumidità dell’ariae dalca-
lore (temperatura d’impiego ammessa fra 0 e 40°C).
●Per la pulizia usare solo un panno asciutto, morbido;
non impiegare in nessun caso prodotti chimici o de-
tergenti aggressivi.
●Nelcaso d’usoimproprio,dimontaggiosbagliato, dicol-
legamenti scorretti o di sovraccarico delle casse acusti-
che, non si assume nessuna responsabilità per even-
tuali danni consequenziali a persone o a cose e non si
assume nessuna garanzia per le casse acustiche.
3Montaggio a parete
Se le casse devono essere appese ad una parete oc-
correprimasvitare labase. Lavite dimontaggio (5)della
base è accessibile dal basso. Avvitare bene la staffa di
montaggio con le due viti (1) e (5).
4Collegamento elettrico
AVVERTIMENTO nel caso di impianti 100V:
Durante il funzionamento, il cavo di
collegamento presenta una ten-
sione pericolosa fino a 100V.
Fare attenzione al corretto adattamento della potenza.
L’adattamento errato può provocare la distruzione
dell’amplificatore PA! La somma delle potenze di tutti
gli altoparlanti collegati non deve superare la potenza
dell’amplificatore.
Se si desidera eliminare le casse acustiche
definitivamente, consegnarle per lo smal-
timento ad un’istituzione locale per il
riciclaggio.
1) Se l’impianto PA è acceso, spegnerlo prima comple-
tamente!
2) Impostare la tensione nominale desiderata con la
manopola (2) oppure, nel caso di un collegamento
con l’uscita a bassa impedenza di un amplificatore
(≤8Ω), posizionarla su “8Ω”.
Attenzione! Nella posizione “8Ω” non usare asso-
lutamente l’altoparlante in un impianto con uscita
audio 100V. L’altoparlante e eventualmente anche
l’amplificatore subiranno dei danni.
3) Collegare il morsetti di connessione (3) con l’uscita
dell’amplificatore. Nel caso di collegamento di più al-
toparlanti fare attenzione di non sovraccaricare l’am-
plificatore e di impostare per tutti gli altoparlanti una
polarità identica (morsetto nero = polo negativo).
Nel modello ESP-6HQ si può collegare in alterna-
tiva la presa SPEAKON®(4). Il connettore deve es-
sere collegato come segue:

Inserire il connettore nella presa (4) e girarlo a destra
fino allo scatto. Per sfilarlo successivamente sbloc-

Por favor, lea atentamente este manual de instrucciones
antes del funcionamiento y consérvelo para usos pos-
teriores.
1Usos
Estos recintos de 2 vías con caja de diseño en forma
oval están especialmente indicados para usos en siste-
mas de megafonía. Están equipados con un transfor-
mador para funcionamiento en sistemas de 100V, sin
embargo, también pueden conectarse directamente a
una salida de amplificador de baja impedancia. La po-
tencia se adapta mediante el potenciómetro rotatorio en
la cara trasera del aparato Los recintos pueden colo-
carse de pie o montados en una pared mediante sopor-
tes de montaje.
2Notas importantes
Los recintos corresponden a todas las Directivas de la
UE y por eso están marcados con .
●Los recintos sólo están indicados para usarlos en in-
terior. Protéjalos contra goteos de agua y salpicadu-
ras de agua, humedad elevada del aire, y calor (tem-
peratura ambiente admisible 0–40°C).
●Para limpiarlo utilice sólo un paño seco y suave, no
use nunca productos químicos o agua.
●No se asumirá ninguna garantía para los recintos ni
se aceptará ninguna responsabilidad en caso de
daños personales o patrimoniales si los recintos se
usan para otros fines distintos a los concebidos ori-
ginalmente, si no se montan de manera experta, si no
se conectan correctamente, o si se sobrecargan.
3Montaje en pared
Para colgar los recintos de una pared, desatornille pri-
mero la base. El tornillo de sujeción (5) es accesible
desde abajo. Luego apriete el soporte de montaje en-
tregado con los dos tornillos (1) y (5).
4Conexión eléctrica
ADVERTENCIA cuando use sistemas de 100V:
Durante el funcionamiento, existe
un riesgo de contacto con un voltaje
de hasta 100V en el cable de cone-
xión.
Fíjese en la adaptación correcta de la potencia. ¡Una
adaptación incorrecta dañará el amplificador de mega-
fonía! La potencia total de todos los altavoces conec-
tados no debe superar la potencia del amplificador.
Si los recintos deben ser retirados del fun-
cionamiento definitivamente, llévelos a un
centro de reciclaje local para su disposición
no dañina para el medio ambiente.
1) ¡Si el sistema de megafonía está encendido, apá-
guelo completamente antes de conectarlo!
2) Ajuste la potencia nominal deseada con el interruptor
rotatorio (2) o, para un funcionamiento en una salida
de amplificador de baja impedancia (≤8Ω), ponga el
interruptor en la posición “8Ω”.
¡Cuidado! En la posición “8Ω”, no utilice nunca el al-
tavoz en un sistema de 100V. El altavoz y posible-
mente también el amplificador se dañarían.
3) Conecte los terminales (3) a la salida de amplifica-
dor. Cuando conecte varios altavoces, asegúrese de
que el amplificador no está sobrecargado y de que
todos los altavoces tienen la misma polaridad (termi-
nal negro = polo negativo).
Modelo ESP-6HQ: Alternativamente es posible
conectar el jack SPEAKON®(4). La toma debe
conectarse como se describe a continuación:

Prosimy o uważne przeczytanie poniższej instrukcji
przed użyciem urządzenia oraz o zachowanie tekstu do
wglądu.
1 Zastosowanie
Dwudrożny zestaw głośnikowy ESP-5HQ i ESP-6HQ w
owalnej obudowie znajduje zastosowanie w systemach
PA. Zestaw wyposażony jest w transformator do pracy
w technice 100 V, można go również podłączyć
bezpośrednio do wyjścia wzmacniacza o niskiej impe-
dancji. Moc znamionową można wybrać za pomocą
przełącznika znajdującego się na tylnym panelu
głośnika. Zestaw głośnikowy jest przystosowany
zarówno do montażu ściennego, za pomocą uchwytów
montażowych, jak i do użycia jako wolnostojąca ko-
lumna głośnikowa.
2 Bezpieczeństwo użytkowania
Ponieważ urządzenie spełnia wymogi norm obowiązu-
jących w Unii Europejskiej, znaczone jest symbolem .
●Urządzenie jest przeznaczone do użytku jedynie we-
wnątrz pomieszczeń. Należy chronić je przed
bezpośrednim kontaktem z wodą, przed działaniem
wilgoci oraz wysokiej temperatury (dopuszczalna
temperatura otoczenia pracy to 0 – 40ºC).
●Do czyszczenia urządzenia należy używać suchej,
miękkiej tkaniny; nie wolno stosować wody ani che-
micznych środków czyszczących.
●Producent ani dostawca nie ponoszą odpowie-
dzialności za wynikłe szkody (uszkodzenie sprzętu
lub obrażenia użytkownika), jeśli urządzenie jest
używane niezgodnie z przeznaczeniem, lub jeżeli
zostało nieprawidłowo zamontowane podłączone,
bądź jeśli nastąpiło jego przeciążenie.
3 Montaż ścienny
Aby zamontować zestaw głośnikowy na ścianie, należy
najpierw odkręcić podstawę. Śruba podtrzymująca (5)
będzie dostępna od dołu. Następnie należy dokręcić
dwie śruby (1) i (5) podtrzymujące uchwyt montażowy.
4 Podłączenie zestawu
UWAGA dotyczy pracy w technice 100 V:
Podczas pracy urządzenia na przyłączu linii
występuje napięcie osiągające do 100 V,
które stanowi potencjalne zagrożenie dla
zdrowia lub życia.
Należy zwrócić uwagę na odpowiedni dobór mocy
głośników do mocy wzmacniacza. Nieodpowiedni
dobór mocy głośników może spowodować uszkodze-
nie wzmacniacza PA! Całkowita moc wszystkich
podłączonych głośników nie może przekraczać mocy
wzmacniacza.
Jeśli urządzenie ma zostać ostatecznie
wycofane z użycia, należy przekazać je do
punktu utylizacji odpadów, aby uniknąć za-
nieczyszczenia środowiska.
1) Jeśli system PA jest włączony, należy go wyłączyć
przed rozpoczęciem podłączania zestawu głośni-
kowego!
2) Należy wybrać żądaną moc znamionową za po-
mocą przełącznika (2). W przypadku pracy na
wyjściu wzmacniacza o niskiej impedancji (≤8Ω)
należy ustawić przełącznik w pozycji “8 Ω”.
Uwaga! W pozycji “8 Ω” nie wolno włączać 100 V,
ponieważ może to spowodować uszkodzenie
głośnika oraz wzmacniacza.
3) Należy podłączyć zaciski (3) do wyjścia wzmac-
niacza. Przy podłączaniu kilku głośników należy się
upewnić, czy wzmacniacz nie został przeciążony i
czy wszystkie głośniki mają odpowiednią biegun-
owość (czarny zacisk = biegun ujemny).
Dotyczy modelu ESP-6HQ: istnieje możliwość
podłączenia gniazda SPEAKON®(4). Poniżej
przedstawiono połączenie wtyku:
1+ = biegun dodatni głośnika
(rdzeń kodowany)
1 - = biegun ujemny głośnika
2+ i 2
- pozostają niepodłączone
Wtyk SPEAKON
®
Należy podłączyć wtyk do gniazda (4), następnie
przekręcić go zgodnie z kierunkiem ruchu wska-
zówek zegara, aż nastąpi blokada. Aby wyjąć wtyk,
należy go rozłączyć a następnie przekręcić go
odwrotnie do kierunku ruchu wskazówek zegara.
Z zastrzeżeniem możliwości zmian.
