PA Speaker System
These instructions are intended for installers
with sufficient knowledge in 100V technol-
ogy for PA applications. Please read the in-
structions carefully prior to installation and
keep them for later reference.
1 Applications
This speaker system for wall mounting is specially
designed for applications in PA systems. It is
equipped with a transformer for operation in
100V systems. The connected load is matched via
a rotary switch. As a 2-way system, the speaker
system can be used for speech and music repro-
duction.
2 Safety Notes
The speaker system corresponds to all relevant di-
rectives of the EU and is therefore marked with .
•
The speaker system is suitable for indoor use
only. Protect it against dripping water and
splash water, high air humidity and heat (ad-
missible ambient temperature range: 0–40 °C).
•
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
chemicals or water.
•
No guarantee claims for the speaker system and
no liability for any resulting personal damage or
material damage will be accepted if the speaker
system is used for other purposes than originally
intended, if it is not expertly installed or not cor-
rectly connected, or if it is overloaded.
If the speaker system is to be put out of
operation definitively, take it to a local
recycling plant or a disposal which is not
harmful to the environment.
3 Mounting
Use the mounting bracket to screw the speaker
to a suitable place on the wall or ceiling. To ad-
just the speaker, release the locking screws of
the bracket, turn the speaker accordingly, then
retighten the screws.
4 Installation
WARNING During operation in 100V systems,
there is a hazard of contact with a
dangerous voltage of up to 100V at
the speaker cable. Installation must
be made by skilled personnel only.
Observe the load of the PA amplifier by the
speakers. An overload may damage the ampli-
fier! The total power of all speakers connected
must not exceed the amplifier power.
1) Before installing the speaker system, switch off
the PA amplifier completely so that the speaker
cable will not carry any voltage!
2) Adjust the desired rated load (volume) with the
switch (a).
3) Connect the speaker system via the terminals
(b) to the PA amplifier. When connecting sev-
eral speakers, make sure that all speakers have
the same polarity (e.g. black terminal = nega-
tive pole).

ELA-Lautsprecherbox
Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Installateure
mit Fachkenntnissen in der 100-V-Beschal-
lungstechnik. Bitte lesen Sie die Anleitung
vor der Installation gründlich durch und
heben Sie sie für ein späteres Nachlesen auf.
1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Diese Lautsprecherbox zur Wandmontage ist spe-
ziell für den Einsatz in Beschallungsanlagen konzi-
piert. Sie ist mit einem Übertrager für den Betrieb
in 100-V-Anlagen ausgestattet. Die Anpassung
der Anschlussleistung erfolgt über einen Dreh-
schalter. Als 2-Wege-System ist die Lautsprecher-
box für Sprach- und Musikwiedergabe geeignet.
2 Sicherheitshinweise
Die Lautsprecherbox entspricht allen relevanten
Richtlinien der EU und trägt deshalb das -Zei-
chen.
•
Verwenden Sie die Lautsprecherbox nur im
Innenbereich. Schützen Sie sie von Tropf- und
Spritzwasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze
(zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich: 0–40 °C).
•
Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trocke-
nes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Chemikalien
oder Wasser.
•
Wird die Lautsprecherbox zweckentfremdet,
nicht fachgerecht montiert, falsch angeschlos-
sen oder überlastet, kann keine Haftung für
daraus resultierende Sach- oder Personenschä-
den und keine Garantie für die Lautsprecherbox
übernommen werden.
Soll die Lautsprecherbox endgültig aus
dem Betrieb genommen werden, über-
geben Sie sie zur umweltgerechten
Entsorgung einem örtlichen Recycling-
betrieb.
3 Montage
Den Lautsprecher mit dem Montagebügel an ge-
eigneter Stelle der Wand bzw. Decke festschrau-
ben. Zum Ausrichten die Feststellschrauben des
Bügels lösen, den Lautsprecher entsprechend
schwenken und die Schrauben wieder festziehen.
4 Installation
WARNUNG Beim Betrieb in 100-V-Anlagen
liegt berührungsgefährliche Span-
nung bis 100V an der Lautspre-
cherleitung an. Die Installation darf
nur durch Fachpersonal erfolgen.
Achten Sie auf die Belastung des ELA-Verstärkers
durch die Lautsprecher. Eine Überlastung kann
den Verstärker beschädigen! Die Summe der
Leistungen aller angeschlossenen Lautsprecher
darf die Verstärkerleistung nicht überschreiten.
1) Vor der Installation der Lautsprecherbox den
ELA-Verstärker ausschalten, damit die Laut-
sprecherleitung spannungsfrei ist!
2) Die gewünschte Nennbelastung (Lautstärke)
mit dem Schalter (a) einstellen.
3) Die Lautsprecherbox über die Anschlussklem-
men (b) an den ELA-Verstärker anschließen.
Beim Anschluss von mehreren Lautsprechern
darauf achten, dass die Lautsprecher alle
gleich gepolt werden (z.B. schwarze Klemme
= Minuspol).

Cassa acustica PA
Queste istruzioni sono rivolte agli installatori
che possiedono delle conoscenze specifiche
sufficienti della tecnica di sonorizzazione a
100V. Vi preghiamo di leggerle attentamente
prima dell’installazione e di conservarle per
un uso futuro.
1 Possibilità d’impiego
Questa cassa acustica per montaggio alla parete è
stata realizzata specialmente per l’impiego in im-
pianti di sonorizzazione. È equipaggiata con un
trasformatore per il funzionamento in impianti
con uscita audio 100V. L’adattamento al tipo di
collegamento avviene con un selettore. Come si-
stema a 2 vie, la cassa acustica è adatto per la
riproduzione sia di musica che di lingua parlata.
2 Avvertenze importanti
La cassa acustica è conforme a tutte le direttive
rilevanti dell’UE e pertanto porta la sigla .
•
Usare la cassa acustica solo all’interno di lo-
cali. Proteggerla dall’acqua gocciolante e dagli
spruzzi d’acqua, da alta umidità dell’aria e dal
calore (temperatura d’impiego ammessa fra 0e
40°C).
•
Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido,
asciutto; non impiegare in nessun caso prodotti
chimici o acqua.
•
Nel caso d’uso improprio, di montaggio sba-
gliato, di collegamenti sbagliati o di sovraccarico
della cassa acustica, non si assume nessuna re-
sponsabilità per eventuali danni consequenziali
a persone o a cose e non si assume nessuna ga-
ranzia per la cassa acustica.
Se si desidera eliminare la cassa acu-
stica definitivamente, consegnarla per
lo smaltimento ad un’istituzione locale
per il riciclaggio.
3 Montaggio
Avvitare la cassa in un punto adatto della parete o
del soffitto servendosi della staffa di montaggio.
Per orientare l’altoparlante allentare le viti di bloc-
caggio della staffe, girare l’altoparlante secondo
necessità e stringere di nuovo le viti.
4 Installazione
AVVERTIMENTO Durante il funzionamento in im-
pianti a 100V, nel cavo per alto-
parlanti è presente una tensione
fino a 100V, pericolosa in caso
di contatto. L’installazione deve essere eseguita
solo da personale specializzato.
Tener presente anche il carico dell’amplificatore
PA da parte degli altoparlanti. Un sovraccarico
può danneggiare l’amplificatore! La somma
delle potenze di tutti gli altoparlanti collegati
non deve superare la potenza dell’amplificatore.
1) Prima dell’installazione della cassa acustica,
spegnere l’amplificatore PA perché la linea per
altoparlanti sia completamente esente da ten-
sione!
2) Con il selettore (a) impostare la potenza nomi-
nale (il volume) richiesta.
3) Collegare la cassa acustica con l’amplificatore
PA per mezzo dei morsetti di collegamento (b).
Collegando più altoparlanti, fare attenzione
affinché tutti abbiano la stessa polarità (p.es.
morsetto nero = polo negativo).

Cette notice s’adresse aux installateurs pos-
sédant des connaissances suffisantes en tech-
nique de sonorisation ligne 100V. Veuillez lire
la présente notice avec attention avant l‘ins-
tallation et conservez-la pour pouvoir vous y
reporter ultérieurement.
1 Possibilités d’utilisation
Cette enceinte pour montage mural est spé-
cialement conçue pour une utilisation dans des
installations de sonorisation. Elle est dotée d’un
transformateur pour fonctionnement dans des
installations 100V. L’adaptation de la puissance de
branchement s’effectue via un sélecteur rotatif.
En tant que système 2 voies, l’enceinte est adap-
tée pour une restitution de discours et musique.
2 Conseils importants
L‘enceinte répond à toutes les directives néces-
saires de l’Union européenne et porte donc le
symbole .
•
L’enceinte n’est conçue que pour une utilisation
en intérieur. Protégez-la des éclaboussures, de
tout type de projections d’eau, d’une humidité
élevée de l’air et de la chaleur (température am-
biante admissible 0– 40°C).
•
Pour la nettoyer, utilisez un chiffon sec et doux,
en aucun cas de produits chimiques ou d’eau.
•
Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de
dommages matériels ou corporels résultants
si l‘enceinte est utilisée dans un but autre que
celui pour lequel elle a été conçue, si elle n’est
pas correctement installée ou branchée, ou s’il
y a surcharge; en outre, la garantie deviendrait
caduque.
Lorsque l‘enceinte est définitivement
retireé du service, vous devez la déposer
dans une usine de recyclage adaptée
pour contribuer à son élimination non
polluante.
3 Montage
Vissez l’enceinte avec l’étrier de montage à
l’endroit adapté sur le mur ou au plafond. Pour
l’orienter, desserrez les vis de verrouillage de
l’étrier, orientez en conséquence l’enceinte puis
revissez les vis.
4 Installation
AVERTISSEMENT Pendant le fonctionnement
dans des installations 100V,
une tension de contact dan-
gereuse jusqu’à 100V est pré-
sente au câble haut-parleur. Seul un personnel
qualifié peut effectuer l’installation.
Faites attention à la charge de l’amplificateur
PA par les haut-parleurs. Une surcharge peut
endommager l’amplificateur. La somme des pu-
issances de l’ensemble des enceintes reliées ne
doit pas dépasser la puissance de l’amplificateur.
1) Avant d’installer l’enceinte, éteignez l’amplifi-
cateur Public Adress pour que le câble haut-
parleur ne soit pas porteur de tension !
2) Réglez la puissance nominale souhaitée (vo-
lume) avec l’interrupteur (a).
3) Reliez l’enceinte via les bornes à pinces (b) à
l’amplificateur Public Adress. Si vous branchez
plusieurs enceintes, veillez à ce qu’elles aient
toutes la même polarité (par exemple pince
noire = pole moins).
