1. Connect to Power
Simply plug into your car’s 12V cigarette lighter adapter.
Be sure that it is pushed in as far as it will go.

2. Connect to Auxiliary Port
NOTE: iCarPlay Direct Connect 2000 features a spool-style
cable management system, which can be used to adjust the
length of the 3.5 mm auxiliary jack cable.
a. Twist iCarPlay Direct Connect 2000 until the
cable management spool is facing upward
and easily accessible.
b. Wind the 3.5 mm auxiliary cable around
the spool, leaving enough cable to reach your
car audio system’s auxiliary port. Push the
cable into clip.
c. Plug the 3.5 mm jack into your car audio
system’s auxiliary port.

Connecting your iPod,
iPhone, or iPad to iCarPlay
Direct Connect 2000
•Connecting your iPod, iPhone, or iPad gives you audio
over your car’s speakers, charging, and playback
control, using the iCarPlay Direct Connect 2000’s
control pad.
•To connect, simply plug in the 30-pin dock connector
into your iPod, iPhone, or iPad.
NOTE: Be sure that your car audio system’s output is set
to auxiliary. Consult your audio system’s owner’s manual.

the playback on a connected iPod, iPhone, or iPad.
