INSTRUCTIONS
General
ATTENTION! Observe the safety and assembly
instrucons in order to avoid the risk of injury or
damaging the product.
Only for domestic use and not for commercial
use!
Important: Read these instructions carefully
and thoroughly. Keep these instrucons to read
through at a later date. If you give the product to
anyone else at some point in the future, please
ensure you also pass on this manual.
Keep small parts out of the reach of children.
Pay aenon especially when unpacking it. Keep
plasc bags and other packaging away from chil-
dren reach. Danger of Suocaon!
Check the delivery for completeness. Later com-
plaints cannot be accepted.
Check all elements and parts for damages. De-
spite careful checks since may happen that even
the best product takes damage during the trans-
port. In this case, do not build up of your prod-
uct. Defecve parts can endanger your health.
Never modify the product! Changes will void the
warranty and the product may be unsafe or even
dangerous.
Intended Use
The scales is designed for the weighing of people
in the home. It is not suitable for use in clinics,
medical practices, etc.. The maximum carrying
capacity of 180 kg must not be exceeded.
Use the product only for its designed purpose of
use. Manufacturer will not assume any responsi-
bility in case of damages cause of an unappropri-
ated use. Any modicaon applied by customer
on the original product will have a negave im-
pact on its safety, cause danger and warranty will
be cancelled.
Safety instrucons
This device is not intended for use by persons
(adults and children) with physical, sensory or
mental impairments or lacking experience and/
or knowledge of use unless they are supervised
by a person responsible for their safety or have
received instrucons from that person on how to
use the applicator.
Children should be supervised to make sure they
do not play with the device.
Do not submerge the scales in water or other liq-
uids.
Place the scales on a stable, even surface.
Do not overload the scales. Pay aenon to the
“Technical Data”.
Protect the scales from sharp jolts and vibraons.
Do not place the scales in the vicinity of devices
that emit electromagnec radiaon, such as mo-
bile phones, wireless devices, and the like. This
can lead to incorrect display indicators or mal-
funcons.
Do not place any objects on the scales when you
are – for example – storing them in a cupboard.
The sensive measuring electronics in the scales
could be damaged by heavy objects.
Do not attempt to repair the device yourself in
the event of a malfuncon. Repairs should only
be carried out by authorized service centers.
Do not use the appliance in a locaon where ex-
treme temperatures or humidity may occur. Keep
the scales away from liquids.
Risk of injury
1. Do not step onto the outer edge of any one
side of the scales. Risk of pping!
2. Do not step onto the scales with wet feet or
when its surface is damp. Risk of slipping!
3. The weighing surface is made of glass. If you
fall down, there is a risk of the glass breaking and
thus a risk of injury from glass splinters.
Suitability
Do not use these scales if you:
• are pregnant,
• have a cardiac pacemaker,,
• are a dialysis paent,
• suer from oedema,
•have implants, e.g. artificial
limbs, metal plates, etc.
If in doubt, consult your GP.
BATTERY SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Do not disassemble baeries!
• Remove discharged batteries from the device
immediately!
• Increased risk of leakage, avoid contact with
skin, eyes and mucous mem-branes! If battery
acid comes in contact with any of this parts, rinse
the aected area with copious amounts of fresh
water and seek medical aenon immediately!
• If a baery has been swallowed seek medical
aenon immediately!
• Insert the baeries correctly, observing the po-
larity!
• Always keep the battery compartment well
closed!
• Remove the baeries from the device if it is not
going to be used for an extended period!
• Keep baeries out of children’s reach!
• Do not attempt to recharge these batteries!
There is a danger of explosion!
• Do not short circuit! There is a danger of explo-
sion!
• Do not throw into a re! There is a danger of
explosion!
• Keep unused baeries in their packaging away
from metal objects in order to prevent short cir-
cuing!

OPERATION
Use
The device has a very sensitive sensor. If you
want to adjust the sengs, simply touch the but-
tons gently with your nger.
If the device does not respond to touch, clean
the glass surface with a so, dry cloth.
NOTE:
The scales are factory set with the units “kg“ and
“cm“.
To change the settings to “lb“ or “st“ as well as
“Ft:in“, proceed as follows:
• Switch the scales on by applying gentle pres-
sure on the glass surface with your foot or toe.
• Press the down buon , unl the required unit
of weight is displayed. The unit for the height
also automacally changes.
Weighing Funcon
• Place the scale on a hard, flat surface (avoid
carpets). An uneven oor contributes to inaccu-
rate measurements.
• Stand on the scales with both feet. The device
switches on automacally.
• Distribute your weight equally and wait for the
scale to determine your weight.
• The digits on the display will ash before your
exact weight will be shown.
• In order to extend the baery life, the device
will automatically turn off 10 seconds after you
have stepped o the scale.
