1. INTRODUZIONE
Grazie per aver scelto un ausilio della linea MOPEDIA by Moretti. Le sedie multifunzione per
bagno Moretti sono state progettate e realizzate per soddisfare tutte le vostre esigenze per
un utilizzo pratico, corretto e sicuro. Questo manuale contiene dei piccoli suggerimenti per un
corretto uso del dispositivo da voi scelto e dei preziosi consigli per la vostra sicurezza. Si consiglia
di leggere attentamente la totalità del presente manuale prima di usare il dispositivo. In caso di
dubbi vi preghiamo di contattare il rivenditore, il quale saprà aiutarvi e consigliarvi correttamente.
2. DESTINAZIONE D’USO
Le sedie multifunzione per bagno MOPEDIA by Moretti fungono da ausilio per doccia e bagno
e sono adatte a persone con difficoltà di deambulazione. Comprendono quattro funzioni in una:
rialzo stabilizzante per water, supporto per water, sedia comoda e sedile per doccia.

• È vietato l’utilizzo del seguente dispositivo per fini diversi da quanto
definito nel presente manuale.
• Moretti S.p.A. declina qualsiasi responsabilità su danni derivanti da un uso improprio
del dispositivo o da un uso diverso da quanto indicato nel presente manuale
• Il produttore si riserva il diritto di apportare modifiche al dispositivo e al seguente
manuale senza preavviso allo scopo di migliorarne le caratteristiche
3. DICHIARAZIONE DI CONFORMITÀ CE
Moretti S.p.A. dichiara sotto la sua esclusiva responsabilità che il prodotto fabbricato ed immesso
nel commercio dalla stessa Moretti S.p.A è conforme alle disposizioni applicabili della direttiva
93/42/CEE sui dispositivi medici e successive modifiche. A tal scopo Moretti S.p.A. garantisce e
dichiara sotto la propria esclusiva responsabilità quanto segue:
1. I dispositivi in oggetto soddisfano i requisiti essenziali richiesti dall’allegato I
della direttiva 93/42/CEE come prescritto dall’allegato VII della suddetta direttiva
2. I dispositivi in oggetto NON SONO STRUMENTI DI MISURA
3. I dispositivi in oggetto NON SONO DESTINATI AD INDAGINI CLINICHE
4. I dispositivi in oggetto vengono commercializzati in confezione NON STERILE
5. I dispositivi in oggetto sono da considerarsi come appartenenti alla classe I
6. NON È CONSENTITO utilizzare e/o installare i dispositivi in oggetto al di fuori
della destinazione d’uso prevista dalla Moretti S.p.A.
7. Moretti S.p.A. mantiene e mette a disposizione delle Autorità Competenti la documentazione
tecnica comprovante la conformità alla Direttiva 93/42/CEE e successive modifiche
4. AVVERTENZE GENERALI
• Per un utilizzo corretto del dispositivo fare riferimento al presente manuale
• Per un utilizzo corretto del dispositivo consultare sempre il vostro medico o terapista
• Verificare che il prodotto vi sia consegnato integro e mantenerlo imballato lontano da fonti di calore
• La vita utile del dispositivo è determinata dall’usura di parti non riparabili e/o sostituibili
• Prestare sempre attenzione alla presenza di bambini.
5. DESCRIZIONE GENERALE

Le sedie multifunzione per bagno MOPEDIA sono realizzate in alluminio anodizzato (RP783 è in

acciaio), con confortevole sedia in PVC e puntali in gomma antiscivolo (ad eccezione del modello
RP782 dotato di ruote piroettanti). Regolabili in altezza ogni 2,5 cm. Comprendono quattro funzioni
in una: rialzo stabilizzante per water, supporto per water, sedia comoda e sedile per doccia. Disponibili
nelle versioni fissa, pieghevole e smontabile su ruote.
6. PRIMA DI OGNI USO
• Verificare sempre lo stato di usura delle parti in modo tale da garantire un utilizzo
del dispositivo in totale sicurezza per persone e cose
• Verificare il corretto inserimento del pulsante nel foro nonché l’assemblaggio del dispositivo
7. PRIMA DEL MONTAGGIO
Sballare il prodotto e controllare che non abbia subito danni durante il trasporto. Nel caso in cui
il prodotto sia danneggiato, si prega di contattare il rivenditore più vicino.
8. MONTAGGIO
RP780 Inserire il supporto per WC al prodotto che viene fornito già montato facendo
attenzione ad incastrare correttamente il supporto con la barra orizzontale posteriore.
RP781 Allargare le parti laterali della struttura alzare la parte con il supporto WC già
montato e fissare le due estremità alle parti laterali.
RP782 Allargare le parti laterali della struttura alzare la parte con il supporto WC già montato
e fissare le due estremità alle parti laterali. Inserire il supporto per WC facendo
attenzione ad incastrare correttamente il supporto con la barra orizzontale posteriore.
RP783 Inserire il supporto per WC facendo attenzione ad incastrare correttamente il
supporto con la barra orizzontale posteriore. Inserire la barra dello schienale rivolto verso
l’alto negli appositi fori delle guide posteriori facendolo bloccare dalle clip di sicurezza.

9. SEDUTA
Premere la clip di sicurezza per regolare l’altezza delle
sedie sfilando la parte interna della gamba e portandola
in corrispondenza dei fori in base all’altezza desiderata.
Controllare che tutte e quattro le gambe siano regolate
alla stessa altezza.
9.1 Alzare i braccioli (solo RP783)
Fare ruotare verso l’alto i braccioli fino alla posizione di
bloccaggio di sicurezza delle apposite clip. (fig.1)
9.2 Abbassare i braccioli (solo RP783)
Premere le clip di sicurezza verso l’interno e quindi ruotare i braccioli verso il basso. (fig.2)
NOTE Prima di sedersi:

- Posizionare il prodotto su una superficie piatta e solida e se presenti, bloccare i freni delle ruote
- Assicurarsi che il fermo del bloccaggio sia fissato bene e che il prodotto sia in una posizione stabile
10. AVVERTENZE PER L’UTILIZZO
• Usare con prudenza su superfici bagnate e scivolose
• Non superare il peso massimo paziente riportato sull’etichetta prodotto e nel capitolo
caratteristiche tecniche del presente manuale
• La sedia può essere usata solo su una superficie solida e piatta. Non usare la sedia su scale,
salite o discese
• Non utilizzare la sedia in modo diverso da quanto indicato nel presente manuale. Si declina
qualsiasi responsabilità per un uso improprio della sedia
• Evitare di lasciare il dispositivo all’esterno e a contatto con l’acqua per un periodo
di tempo prolungato
• Verificare periodicamente la stabilità e robustezza del prodotto nonché lo stato
dei puntali di appoggio e delle ruote. Sostituirli una volta usurati
• In caso di dubbi sull’utilizzo, sulla regolazione o sulla manutenzione del prodotto,
contattare il rivenditore
• Per evitare eventuali rischi tenere il dispositivo lontano dalla portata dei bambini
11. MODALITÀ D'USO
• Mettersi a sedere distribuendo il peso su tutto il sedile. Non sedersi spingendo solo su un lato
• Appoggiarsi sempre su entrambi i braccioli per alzarsi e mantenere l’equilibrio
• In caso di utilizzo della sedia da parte di persone con particolari difficoltà motorie,
aiutarle sempre nel sedersi e nell’alzarsi dalla sedia
ATTENZIONE!
Non movimentare l'ausilio con il paziente seduto
12. MANUTENZIONE
I dispositivi della linea MOPEDIA by Moretti al momento dell’immissione in commercio sono
controllati accuratamente e provvisti di marchio CE. Per la sicurezza del paziente e del medico si
raccomanda di far controllare dal produttore o da un laboratorio autorizzato, almeno ogni 2 anni,
l’idoneità all’uso del vostro prodotto.
Per ispezione periodica si intende un esame delle seguenti parti:
• La struttura portante della sedia e parti di collegamento
• Controllare montaggio e funzionamento delle ruote con relativo freno
• Verificare tutti i punti di saldatura
• Verificare l’usura dei puntali ove presenti
In caso di riparazione devono essere utilizzati soltanto ricambi ed accessori originali.
13. PULIZIA E DISINFEZIONE
13.1 Pulizia
Per pulire il prodotto, utilizzare esclusivamente un panno imbevuto di acqua ed asciugare con un
panno pulito ed asciutto, o con acqua tiepida e sapone neutro.
ATTENZIONE!
Non usare sostanze abrasive, acidi,alcol, detergenti a base di cloro, disinfettanti
ed acetone, perché tali sostanze provocano l’abrasione delle parti in plastica e
l’arrugginimento delle superfici metalliche.
Il fabbricante non sarà responsabile per il danneggiamento causato dall’utilizzo di materiali che
possano deteriorare la superficie del prodotto o da corrosivi chimici utilizzati durante la pulizia.

13.2 Disinfezione
Se necessario, effettuare la disinfezione del prodotto utilizzando un delicato detergente disinfettante.
14. CONDIZIONI DI SMALTIMENTO
14.1 Condizioni di smaltimento generali
In caso di smaltimento del dispositivo non usare mai i normali sistemi di conferimento dei rifiuti
solidi urbani. Si raccomanda invece di smaltire il dispositivo attraverso le comuni isole ecologiche
comunali per le previste operazioni di riciclo dei materiali utilizzati.

17. GARANZIA
Tutti i prodotti Moretti sono garantiti da difetti di materiale o fabbricazione per un periodo di 2
(due) anni dalla data di vendita del prodotto, salvo eventuali esclusioni e limitazioni specificate
di seguito. Questa garanzia non è valida in caso di uso improprio, abuso o modifica del prodotto
e per la mancata aderenza alle istruzioni per l’uso. La corretta destinazione d’uso del prodotto è
indicata nel manuale d’uso.
Moretti non è responsabile di danni risultanti, di lesioni personali o quant’altro causato o
relativo all’installazione e/o all’uso dell’apparecchiatura non scrupolosamente conforme alle
istruzioni riportate nei manuali per l’installazione, il montaggio e l’uso.
Moretti non garantisce i prodotti Moretti contro danni o difetti nelle seguenti condizioni:
calamità naturali, operazioni di manutenzione o riparazione non autorizzate, danni derivanti
da problemi dell’alimentazione elettrica (dove prevista), utilizzo di parti o componenti non
forniti da Moretti, mancata aderenza alle linee guida e istruzioni per l’uso, modifiche non
autorizzate, danni di spedizione (diversa dalla spedizione originale da Moretti), oppure dalla
mancata esecuzione della manutenzione così come indicato nel manuale. Non sono coperti
da questa garanzia componenti usurabili se il danno è da imputarsi al normale utilizzo del
prodotto.
18. RIPARAZIONI
18.1 Riparazione in garanzia: Nel caso in cui un prodotto Moretti presenti difetti di materiale
o fabbricazione durante il periodo di garanzia, Moretti valuterà con il cliente se il difetto del
prodotto è coperto dalla garanzia. Moretti, a sua insindacabile discrezione, può sostituire o
riparare l'articolo in garanzia, presso un rivenditore Moretti specificato o presso la propria
sede. I costi della manodopera relativi alla riparazione del prodotto possono essere a carico di
Moretti se si determina che la riparazione ricade nell'ambito della garanzia. Una riparazione
o sostituzione non rinnova né proroga la garanzia.
18.2 Riparazione di un prodotto non coperto dalla garanzia: Si può restituire, affinché sia riparato,
un prodotto non coperto dalla garanzia solo dopo aver ricevuto autorizzazione preventiva
dal servizio clienti Moretti. I costi della manodopera e di spedizione relativi a una riparazione
non coperta dalla garanzia saranno completamente a carico del cliente o del rivenditore. Le
riparazioni su prodotti non coperti dalla garanzia sono garantite per 6 (sei) mesi, a decorrere dal
giorno in cui si riceve il prodotto riparato.
18.3 Prodotti non difettosi: Il cliente sarà avvisato se, dopo avere esaminato e provato un
prodotto restituito, Moretti conclude che il prodotto non è difettoso. Il prodotto sarà restituito
al cliente e saranno a suo carico i costi di spedizione dovuti alla restituzione.
19. RICAMBI
I ricambi originali Moretti sono garantiti per 6 (sei) mesi a decorrere dal giorno in cui si riceve il ricambio.
20. CLAUSOLE ESONERATIVE
Salvo quanto specificato espressamente in questa garanzia ed entro i limiti di legge, Moretti
non offre nessun’altra dichiarazione, garanzia o condizione, espressa o implicita, comprese
eventuali dichiarazioni, garanzie o condizioni di commerciabilità, idoneità per uno scopo
particolare, non violazione e non interferenza. Moretti non garantisce che l’uso del prodotto
Moretti sarà ininterrotto o senza errori. La durata di eventuali garanzie implicite che possano
essere imposte dalle norme di legge è limitata al periodo di garanzia, nei limiti delle norme di
legge. Alcuni stati o paesi non permettono limitazioni sulla durata di una garanzia implicita
oppure l'esclusione o la limitazione di danni accidentali o indiretti in relazione a prodotti per
i consumatori. In tali stati o paesi, alcune esclusioni o limitazioni di questa garanzia possono
non applicarsi all’utente. La presente garanzia è soggetta a variazioni senza preavviso.

1. INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing a MOPEDIA multifunction chairs for bathroom Moretti S.p.A. This user's
manual provides some suggestions as how to correctly use the product you have chosen and gives
some valuable advice for your safety. Please read through the manual carefully before using the
product. Should you have any queries, please contact your retailer for advice and assistance.
2. INTENDED USE
The multifunction chairs for bathroom MOPEDIA by Moretti are intended to be used as an aid
in shower and bathroom for people with walking difficulties. They include four functions in one:
a stabilizer for water rise, support for water, commode chair and shower seat.
CAUTION!
• Do not use the product for a purpose not indicated in this manual
• Moretti S.p.A declines all responsibilities for any consequences
resulting from an incorrect use of this product and from unauthorized
alteration to the frame of the product
• The manufacturer reserves the right to change the information contained
in this document without previous notice.
3. EC DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY
Moretti S.p.A. hereby declares, under its own exclusive responsibility, that the products
manufactured and sold by Moretti S.p.A. and belonging to the cane aids category are in
compliance with the applicable provisions outlined in the Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC
and further modifications.
To this end Moretti S.p.A. guarantees and declares as follows, under its own responsibility:
1. The devices in question satisfy the essential requirements of Annex I of
directive 93/42/ EEC as prescribed by Annex VII of the above directive
2. The devices in question ARE NOT MEASUREMENT DEVICES
3. The devices in question ARE NOT INTENDED FOR CLINICAL INVESTIGATION
4. The devices in question are sold in NON STERILE packing
5. The devices in question should be considered as belonging to class I
6. DO NOT use/install the devices in question for any otherpurpose
than that expressly indicated by Moretti S.p.A.
7. Moretti S.p.A. maintains and submits the documentation certifying conformity
with Directive 93/42/EEC to the proper authorities and further modifications
4. GENERAL WARNINGS
• READ carefully the entire manual before using the device
• For a correct use of the device always consult your physician or therapist
• Make sure that the product is delivered complete and keep it packed away from heat sources
• SERVICE LIFE- the device use limit is defined by the wear of the parts
• DO NOT allow children to play or operate the device

The multifunction chairs for bathroom MOPEDIA are made of anodized aluminum (RP763 is
steel), with a comfortable chair in PVC and non-slip rubber tips (except model RP762 equipped
with castors). Adjustable height every 2,5 cm. They include four functions in one: a stabilizer for
water rise, support for water, commode chair and shower seat. Available fixed model, foldable
and demountable with castors.
6. BEFORE USE
• Always check if there is any part worn out in order to ensure the device is used in complete
safety for persons and property
• Check the correct assembly of the device
7. BEFORE ASSEMBLY
Unpack the product and check that no damage has occurred during transport. In the event that
the product is damaged, please contact your nearest dealer.
8. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTION
RP780 Insert the toilet support to the product which is supplied already assembled,
making sure to fit correctly the support with the horizontal rear bar.
RP781 Open the sides of the frame, lift the part with the toilet support already
assembled and fix the two ends to lateral parts. Next, install the rear bar.
RP782 Insert the two horizontal bars in the supports of the side parts making them
block thanks to the safety clips. Insert the toilet support paying attention to fit it
properly with the horizontal rear bar.
RP783 Insert the toilet support paying attention to fit it properly with the horizontal rear bar.
Insert the backrest bar upwards into the holes of the rear rails making it block thanks
to the safety clips.

9. SEAT
Press the safety clip to adjust the height of the chairs
by removing the inner part of the leg and bringing the
holes to the desired height. Check that all four legs are
adjusted to the same height.
9.1 To lift the armrest (only for RP763)
Swing the armrest upward inserting
them in the safety clips. (fig.1)
9.2 To lower arms (only for RP763)
Press the safety clips inward and swing the armrest downward. (fig.2)

NOTE Before you sit down:
- Place the product on a flat and solid surface and if present, lock the brakes of the castors
- Make sure that the lock latch is secure and that the product is in a stable position
10. USING WARNINGS
• Use caution on wet and slippery surfaces
• DO NOT use with patient who exceeds the weight indicated in the product
label and in the technical features chapter of the present manual
• The chair can be used only on a hard, flat surface. Do not use the chair on stairs, inclines or declines
• Do not use the chair in a way other than that described in this manual
We disclaim any responsibility for improper use of the chair
• Avoid to leave the device in contact with water for long periods of time
• Periodically check the stability and hardness of the product as well as the status of the tips
and castors. Replace worn once
• In case of doubts about use, adjustment or maintenance, contact your dealer

12. MAINTENANCE
The MOPEDIA devices by MORETTI are checked carefully and supplied with EC mark, once
launched on the market. For patient and physician’s safety we recommend to let check the
device by the manufacturer or by laboratory authorized every 2 years.
For periodic inspection means an examination of the following parts:
• The frame of the chair and connecting parts
• Check mounting and operation of the wheels with its brake
• Check all the welding points
• Check the wear of the tips where present
In case of repair, use only original spare parts and accessories.
13. CLEANING AND DISINFECTION
13.1 Cleaning
To clean the aid and the structure use a solution of alcohol and neutral soap (in equal parts)
mixed with water.
WARNING!
Do not use abrasive substances, acids, alcohol, chlorine-based cleaners, disinfectants
and acetone when cleaning, because these substances cause the abrasion of the
plastic surfaces and rusting of metal surfaces
The manufacture company cannot be held responsible for the damage that is caused by using
materials that could damage the product surface or corrosive chemicals during cleaning.
13.2 Disinfection
If you need to disinfect the product use a common disinfectant neutral detergent.

14. CONDITIONS OF DISPOSAL
14.1 General conditions of disposal
In case of disposal don’t use the inserting container for municipal waste. We recommend to
dispose the bath chair in the appropriate disposal areas for recycling.

17. WARRANTY
Moretti products are guaranteed from material or manufacturing faults for a period of (two) 2
years from the purchasing date, subject to any limitations and exclusions specified below.
The warranty does not apply in case of damages caused by improper use, abuse or modification
of the product, and the warranty will not be valid if the instructions for use are not strictly
followed. The correct intended use of the device is specified in this manual. Moretti is not
responsible for damages resulting from personal injury or otherwise caused by or in relation to
wrong installation or improper use.
Moretti does not guarantee the products against damage or defects in the following conditions:
natural disaster, not authorized maintenance or repair, damage due to power supply problems
(where provided) use of spare parts not supplied by Moretti, improper use, not authorized
alteration, shipping damage (other than original shipment by Moretti ), or in case of insufficient
maintenance as indicated in the manual. The warranty doesn’t cover components subject to wear
and tear during the correct use of the device.
18. REPAIRS
18.1 Warranty repair
In the event that a product Moretti to be defective in material or manufacturing faults during the
warranty period, Moretti will confirm with customer if the fault can be covered from warranty.
Moretti, in its sole discretion, can repair or replace the item under warranty at a Moretti dealer
or at Moretti location. The labor cost for the repair may be charged to Moretti if the repair is
covered by warranty. Repair or replacement does not renew or extend the warranty.
18.2 Repair not covered by warranty
A product not covered by warranty can be returned for repairing only after receiving prior
authorization from Moretti customer service. The labor and shipping costs for a repair not
covered by warranty will be fully borne by the customer or dealer. Repairs of products not covered
by warranty are warranted for six (6) months from the date you receive the product repaired.
18.3 Non-defective device
The customer will be informed if, after having examined and tested returned product, Moretti
claims that the product is not defective. In this case the good will be returned to the customer,
all shipping costs will be paid by customer.
19. SPARE PARTS
The original Moretti spare parts are guaranteed for 6 (six) months from the receiving date.
20. EXEMPT CLAUSES
Except as expressly specified in this warranty and within the limits of the law, Moretti does not
offer any representation, warranty or condition, express or implied, including any representations,
warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and
interference. Moretti does not warrant that the use of the product Moretti will be uninterrupted
or error free. The duration of any implied warranties that may be imposed by law are limited to
the warranty period, within the limits of the law. Some states do not allow limitations on how long
an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages
in connection with products for consumers. In such states or countries, certain disclaimers and
limitations of this warranty may not apply to you. This warranty is subject to change without
notice.
