It is in your interest to retain the retailers receipt as proof
of purchase. Please quote the model number if the
product develops a fault. This number can be found on
the base of the product.
All Morphy Richards products are individually tested
beforeleavingthefactory.Intheunlikelyeventofanyap-
pliance proving to be faulty within 28 days of purchase it
should be returned to the place of purchase for it to be
replaced.
If a fault develops after 28 days and within 24 months of
originalpurchase,youshouldcontactthehelpline number
quoting the model number of the product, or write to the
addressbelow.Youwill be asked to return the product (in
securepackaging) to the addressbelowalong with a copy
of proof of purchase.

Intense body massage centre

Instructions
• The massager should not be applied if the
following symptoms are present:Tuberculosis,
benign and malignant tumours, haemorrhages,
inflammations of the skin, phlebitis and
thrombosis, open and fresh wounds, bruises,
broken skin or varicose veins.
• Individuals with pacemakers should not use this
product.
• Consult a doctor before using if you are pregnant,
diabetic, ill or have any therapeutic questions
regarding its use.
• Do not use on any unexplained pain before
consulting your doctor.
• Do not apply the unit to wounded, inflamed,
blistered or sunburnt skin.
• Disconnect the product from mains supply when
not in use or when cleaning.
• Do not cover the product at any time whilst
connected to the mains supply.
• Do not take this product into a bathroom, near a
water basin or leave in direct sunlight.
• It is recommended that this appliance should not
be used by children.
• The appliance is suitable for use on 230 volts AC
only.
• The massage should feel pleasant and comfort
able. If pain or discomfort occurs discontinue use
immediately and consult a doctor.
• Never operate the appliance if it has a damaged
cord, if it is not working properly, or if has been
dropped or damaged.
• Only use this appliance for its intended use as
described in this manual.
• Do not stand on the massager, this will damage it.
Sit down first, then place your feet on it.
CAUTION : Do not use if sores or lumps are present.

centre from Morphy Richards. Please read these
instructions carefully before use and keep in a safe
place for future reference.

For foot massage
Before connecting to the power source, be sure both
switches are in the off position.
1Wash your feet and dry thoroughly. Do not apply
any oils or creams.
2Position the massager on a firm level floor, close
to an electrical socket.
3Place a chair in front of the massager.
4Plug the mains lead into the electrical socket.
5Sit down on a chair. Do not stand on the
massager as this will damage it.
6Place your feet on the massager, heels by the
switches.
7The massage switch can be used on setting one
for a gentle massage or position 2 for a powerful
massage.
8The heat switch has two heat settings that can be
used to suit your requirements. The heat switch
can be used independently or together with the
massage switch.
Switch the massager to the off position after treatment.
Your skin may become slightly red and warm after
treatment (which indicates that the blood circulation
has been stimulated). This is quite normal after any
massage treatment and the symptoms will quickly
disappear. You may wish to apply a soothing lotion.
For back massage
Before connecting to the power source, be sure both
switches are in the off position.
1Place the massager on a firm chair vertically, close
to an electrical socket.
2Lean the massager against the back of the chair or
adjust the length of the adjustable feet so that the
massager can be hung over the back rest.
3Plug the mains lead into the electrical socket and
switch on.
4Sit down on a chair in front of the massager.
5Lean on the massager gently and adjust the length
of the front feet until you feel comfortable.
6The massage switch can be used on setting one
for a gentle massage or position 2 for a powerful
massage.
7The heat switch has two heat settings that can be
used to suit your requirements. The heat switch
can be used independently or together with the
massage switch.
Maintenance and cleaning
Always unplug the unit from the mains socket before
cleaning. Never use liquids or abrasive cleaners to
clean the unit. Just wipe with a damp cloth.
Unplug the appliance and store your massager box
provided, in a dry place.
Wiring
This product is fitted with a 13A (BS1363) plug.
A 3 amp fuse (BS1362) must be used.
Check that the voltage on the rating plate of your
appliance corresponds with your house electricity
supply which must be A.C. (Alternating Current).
If the socket outlets in your home are not suitable for
the plug supplied with this appliance the plug should be
removed and the appropriate one fitted.
IMPORTANT : THE PLUG REMOVED FROM THE
MAINS LEAD, IF SEVERED, MUST BE DESTROYED
AS A PLUG WITH BARED FLEXIBLE CORD IS
HAZARDOUS IF ENGAGED INTO A LIVE SOCKET
OUTLET.
Mains lead
As a safety precaution and to prolong the life of your
appliance, do not wrap the mains lead around the
appliance as this will cause damage.
Adjustment of massage centre
For increased comfort, the front feet of the massage
centre can be adjusted. They can be unscrewed a
maximum of 7 turns, to raise the front of the massager.
You will hear a ‘click’ at the end of each turn. Do not try
to unscrew the feet more than 7 turns, as this may
damage the massage centre.
If the massage produces any type of discomfort cease
the treatment.
Recommended massage times
1Massage may be applied once or twice daily.
2Do not massage the same area for more
than 15 minutes.
