general description
Motorola's Total Enterprise Access and Mobility (TEAM) Voice over WLAN (VoWLAN) Solution
delivers mobile access over the enterprise WLAN to the voice and data communication services
workers need to be more productive and responsive. The features and benefits of the TEAM
Solution are delivered through the TEAM VoWLAN smartphone - the Enterprise WiFi Phone -
EWP.
Through the EWP, the TEAM VoWLAN solution turns the desktop into a pocketable virtual office
with PBX-based telephony, Push-To-Talk (PTT) communications, email/contacts/calendar, text
messaging, internet/intranet access and line of business applications.
The TEAM VoWLAN smartphone is available in three models, professional EWP1000 series, and
the semi-rugged EWP2000 and EWP3000 series. All models have identical qualities, but differ in
appearance. The EWP3000 series is a Windows Mobile® 6.5 based device, and adds an
integrated camera that can capture 1D/2D bar codes and take pictures. This device also
incorporates a wipeable keypad and antimicrobial surface protection.
The TEAM smartphone is designed to work only within the coverage area of your enterprise
WLAN. This manual covers the basic and advanced operations of your EWP.
