1.The CPUsockethasaplasticcap on ittoprotectthecontactfromdamage.
Beforeyou install theCPU,alwayscoverittoprotect thesocketpin.
2.Removethecap fromleverhingeside.
3.The pinsofsocketreveal.
4.Open theloadlever.
5.Lift theloadleverupandopen theloadplate.
6.AfterconfirmingtheCPUdirectionforcorrectmating,putdowntheCPUin
thesockethousingframe.BesuretograspontheedgeoftheCPUbase.Notethatthe
alignment keysarematched.
7.VisuallyinspectiftheCPUisseated wellintothesocket. Ifnot,takeoutthe
CPUwithpurevertical motion andreinstall.
8.Covertheloadplateontothepackage.
9.Press downtheload leverlightlyontotheloadplate,and then securethe
leverwiththehookunderretentiontab.
10.Aligntheholesonthemainboardwiththecooler.Pushdownthecooleruntil
itsfourclipsgetwedged intotheholesof themainboard.
11.Press thefourhooks downtofastenthecooler.Thenrotate
thelocking switch(refertothecorrectdirectionmarkedonit)
tolock thehooks.
12.Turnoverthemainboardtoconfirmthattheclip-endsare
correctlyinserted.

Installing DDRModules
1.TheDIMMhasonlyonenotchon thecenterofmodule.Themodulewill onlyfit intheright
orientation.
2.InserttheDIMMmemorymoduleverticallyintotheDIMMslot.Then pushitinuntilthe
golden fingeron thememorymoduleisdeeplyinsertedinthesocket.
3.The plasticclipat eachsideoftheDIMMslot willautomaticallyclose.

supplyconnector,alwaysmakesurethatallcomponentsare
