General Information
To ensure that you can enjoy this product for many years to come, please
read this manual and store it in a safe place. With this time switch, you can
conveniently and easily control electric devices that are to be activated at a
certain time or over a longer time period.

Commissioning
1. Remove the product from the packaging and remove any remaining
packaging material.
2. Connect the time switch to the desired socket. Make sure that the volta-
ge matches the specifications of the time switch.
3. Switch on the socket and wait approximately 12 hours, to ensure that the
reserve battery is fully charged.
4. After 12 hours, press the MASTERCLEAR button with a pointed object to
reset the time switch.
5. You can now make the desired settings, the device is now operational.
Setting the time
1. Press and hold the CLOCK button while simultaneously pressing the
WEEK button, until the current day of the week appears on the display.
2. Adjust the time using the HOUR and MINUTE buttons, while the CLOCK
button is still pressed.
3. As soon as you release all buttons, the settings for the day and time are
accepted.
Further settings and functions that are available with this time switch:
• 16 different combinations of the weekdays, adjustable as required
• 8 configurable switching programs
• choice of 12 or 24 hour mode
• summertime
• manual ON/OFF switch
• random delay of switching programs from 0-32 minutes

Setting the switching program
1. Briefly press the TIMER button
2. Use the WEEK button to set the weekdays for which the timer is to be
switched on. Use the HOUR and MINUTE buttons to select the desired
time.
3. Press the TIMER button again, to adjust when the unit should be turned
off. Proceed as described in step 2.
Note: The switching program does not automatically adopt the selected
day of the week to switch the unit off again. Please set these separately as
described.
You can set a total of 8 different switching programs. Simply repeat step
1-3 until you have set all desired programs. Complete the programming by
pressing the CLOCK button. The display will now show the day of the week
and the time.
Note: Avoid overlapping the individual programs so that the time switch does
not turn on or off unintentionally.
You can also deactivate or reactivate a switching program. Press the TIMER
button several times, until the desired program is displayed. Press the RES/
RCL button to deactivate or activate the program.
Choice of 12 or 24 hour mode
Press the TIMER and CLOCK buttons simultaneously to select the desired 12
or 24 hour mode. The 12 hour mode uses the abbreviations AM and PM to
display the respective time of the day. AM stands for the first and PM for the
last 12 hours of the day.
Setting the summer time function
Press the ON/AUTO/OFF and CLOCK buttons simultaneously to set the time
switch to summer or winter time. When set to summer time, the clock is put
forward an hour and displayed as SUMMER.
Manually turning the time switch on and off
Briefly press the ON/AUTO/OFF button to select between the following
options:
1. ON: The time switch is switched on
2. AUTO: The device operates on the set switching programs
3. OFF: The time switch is switched off.
Note: When switching from ON or OFF to AUTO, the last setting remains
active, until one of the switching programs is activated.
Setting the random function
Press the RANDOM button to turn this function on or off.
Switching programs, which are programmed for the period from 6pm to 6am,
are now played with a delay of 0-32 minutes.
Maintenance
The device is maintenance-free, so please do not open the device. You will
invalidate your warranty if you open up the device. Clean the outside with a
soft, dry cloth or a brush.
Do not use any cleaning products that contain carbonic acid, benzene, alco-
hol or similar substances. Such substances attack the surface of the device
and their vapours are also hazardous to health and explosive. Do not use any
sharp-edged tools, screwdrivers, wire brushes or similar to clean the device.
Safety and maintenance instructions
• Make sure that all electrical connections, such as cable connections, com-
ply with to the relevant policies.
• Attention! Do not overload power outlets and extensions, this can cause
fire or an electric strike.
• If you are facing any trouble with using the device, or if you have any
safety issues, please contact an expert.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Avoid hard impacts, this can lead to damaging the electronic circuits.
• Never replace damaged power leads yourself! Please remove the devices
from the mains and contact a specialist company/dealer.
• Opening and repairing the device must be performed only by an authori-
zed specialist.
• Wireless systems could be affected by phones, microwaves and other
electronic devices that are operating within the 433.92 MHz field. Keep a
minimum distance of at least 3 meters during the installation and operati-
on of the device.
Protecting the environment
At the end of its service life, this product must not be disposed of with the
normal domestic waste. It must be taken to an assembly point for the recycling
of electrical and electronic devices. This is indicated by the symbol on the pro-
duct, the instruction manual and packaging. The materials and substances can
be recycled according to their marking.
The reutilisation of recycled substances or other forms or recycling of old de-
vices significantly helps the environment. Please contact your local authority
for information regarding the relevant disposal points.
