Accident Prevention Regulations are to be followed!
If the handpiece is not in use, it should be placed on the handpiece holder, or on any other proper holder.
If the unit is not in proper condition or is not being handled correctly, it is possible that injuries may occur
or cause damage to the material and unit.
Unplug the unit before opening the housing
The repair and maintenance of the electrical parts of the unit may only be done by professionally skilled
and trained workers, informed of the safety guidelines. New spare parts, used in repairing the unit must
be in accordance with spare-parts with the manufacturer required specifications.

Startup (according to the scope of delivery)
- Remove the device completely out of the packaging.
- Set up the table top control unit at an adequate workstation.
- Set up the foot control unit at an adequate workstation.
- Mount the knee control unit onto your table/bench according to the separate instructions (written on the drill template
MU 3061).
Cable Connections
The handpiece needs to be connected and blocked at the back of the control unit at the hub .
Only for table top control units: The treadle switch needs to be connected and blocked at the back of the control
unit at the hub .
Insert the power cord into the back of the control unit. Plug the plug into the power socket.
Operation of Handpiece: H550
Chance the burs only when the handpiece has come to a complete stop. No warranty by disregard! To open the
mechanism (for chuck) you need to turn the grip sleeve clockwise in order to exchange the desired burs. In order to
close it again, you need to turn the grip sleeve counter clockwise until it snaps.
Operation of Foot Control Unit: F501
The rate of revolutions will be continuously variable by activating the foot lever into the direction of max. speed. The
handpiece stops by releasing the foot lever. With the black button one can choose the max . speed of 30.000 rpm or
50.000 rpm, the lamp lights up red if you have chosen 50.000 rpm.
