Original-Ersatzteile zu verwenden. Ein sicherer Betrieb und Schutz des Gerätes ist nur bei bestimmungsgemäßem
Gebrauch, gemäß der Bedienungsanleitung, mit den dafür zugelassenen Werkzeugen gegeben.
Anwendungsbereich
Die zulässige Höchstdrehzahl sowie max. Anpressdruck der Werkzeuge, lt. Vorschrift der
Werkzeughersteller, (Schaft von ø 2,35 oder ø 3,0 mm) ist zu beachten. Bitte verwenden Sie nur
rotierende Werkzeuge von Markenherstellern und beachten Sie die technischen Angaben. Bei einer
Umdrehung von 50.000 min-1 Höchstdrehzahl) dürfen nur die entsprechenden Werkzeuge verwendet
werden.
Unfallverhütungsvorschriften sind zu beachten!
Das Produkt ist in Räumen von normaler Raumtemperatur und normaler Luftfeuchtigkeit zu installieren.
Es darf nicht im Nassbereich eingesetzt werden.
Primäre Funktion: Zum Schleifen in der Zahntechnik, nur zu benutzen von ausgebildeten
Zahntechnikern.
Bei Ausarbeitungen mit rotierenden Werkzeugen sind Schutzgläser zu benutzen.
Bei Gipsbearbeitung empfehlen wir eine Staubabsauganlage oder Mundschutz zu benutzen.

Unfallverhütungsvorschriften sind zu beachten!
Bei Nichtbenutzung ist das Handstück in die Handstückablage oder in eine andere geeignete Ablage
abzulegen.
Bei nicht ordnungsgemäßem Zustand des Gerätes bzw. nicht ordnungsgemäßer Anwendung besteht
Verletzungsgefahr sowie Gefährdung für Material und Gerät.
Vor Öffnen des Gerätes Netzstecker ziehen
Reparatur- und Wartungsarbeiten am elektrischen Teil des Gerätes dürfen nur von Fachleuten oder im
Werk geschulten Personen, die auf die Sicherheitsvorschriften hingewiesen wurden, ausgeführt werden.
Ersatzteile, die bei der Reparatur erneuert werden, müssen den Spezifikationen der Originalersatzteile
entsprechen.

Inbetriebnahme (je nach Lieferumfang)
-Nehmen Sie das Gerät vollständig aus der Verpackung heraus.
-Stellen Sie das Tischsteuergerät an einem geeigneten Arbeitsplatz auf.
-Stellen Sie das Fußsteuergerät an einem geeigneten Arbeitsplatz auf.
-Montieren Sie das Kniesteuergerät laut separater Bedienungsanleitung (auf der Bohrschablone MU 3061) am
Tisch.
Kabelanschlüsse
Schließen und verriegeln Sie das Handstück an der Geräterückseite des Steuergerätes an die Buchse .
Nur bei Tischsteuergeräten: Schließen und verriegeln Sie den Fußtretschalter an der Rückseite des
Steuergerätes an die Buchse .
Schließen Sie das Netzkabel an der Rückseite des Steuergerätes an und anschließend stecken Sie den Stecker in
die Netzsteckdose.
Funktion Handstück: H550
Nehmen Sie einen Werkzeugwechsel nur bei völligem Stillstand des Motors vor. Garantieverlust bei Nichtbeachtung!
Öffnen Sie den Spannmechanismus, durch Drehen der Handstückgriffhülse im Uhrzeigersinn. Das rotierende Werkzeug
kann somit gewechselt werden. Drehen Sie zum Schließen die Griffhülse gegen den Uhrzeigersinn bis zum Einrasten.
Funktion Fußsteuergerät: F501
Durch Betätigung des Fußpedals in Richtung Maximal- Drehzahl wird die Drehzahl stufenlos geregelt. Das Handstück
stoppt durch Rückstellung des Fußpedals. Mit dem schwarzen Druckknopf hat man die Möglichkeit die max. Drehzahl
von 30.000 min-1 oder 50.000 min-1 zu wählen, bei 50.000 min-1 leuchtet die Lampe rot.

Funktion Kniesteuergerät: K501
Schalten Sie das Steuergerät am Ein/Aus-Schalter ein. Grüne Kontrolllampe leuchtet. Wählen Sie die gewünschte
Maximal-Drehzahl mit dem Drehzahlwahlregler durch Rechtsdrehung. Die eingestellte Drehzahl ist an der LED Anzeige
abzulesen. Durch Betätigung der Knieklappe wird die Drehzahl stufenlos bis zur eingestellten Drehzahl geregelt. Das
Handstück stoppt durch Rückstellung der Knieklappe. Mit dem Druckknopf 50.000 min-1 hat man die Möglichkeit die
max. Drehzahl von 30.000 min-1 oder 50.000 min-1 zu wählen, bei 50.000 min-1 leuchtet die Lampe gelb. Durch
Betätigen des Drehrichtungs-Umschalters (Lampe leuchtet) ändert sich die Laufrichtung des Handstücks auf
Linkslauf. Drehzahl beträgt max. 30.000 min-1.
Funktion Tischsteuergerät: T501
Schalten Sie das Steuergerät am Ein/Aus-Schalter ein. Grüne Kontrolllampe leuchtet. Wählen Sie die gewünschte
Maximal-Drehzahl mit dem Drehzahlwahlregler durch Rechtsdrehung. Durch Betätigung des Fußtretschalters wird die
eingestellte Drehzahl erreicht, die an der LED Anzeige abzulesen ist. Soll das Tischgerät ohne Fußtretschalter betrieben
werden, ist dieser aus der Buchse zu ziehen. Das Gerät läuft dann auf der eingestellten Maximal-Drehzahl. Mit dem
Druckknopf 50.000 min-1 hat man die Möglichkeit die max. Drehzahl von 30.000 min-1 oder 50.000 min-1 zu wählen, bei
50.000 min-1 leuchtet die Lampe gelb. Durch Betätigen des Drehrichtungs-Umschalters (Lampe leuchtet) ändert sich
die Laufrichtung des Handstücks auf Linkslauf. Drehzahl beträgt max. 30.000 min-1.
Handstück und Motor nicht mit Druckluft reinigen und kein Öl verwenden!
Überprüfen und reinigen Sie die Spannzange mindestens einmal im Monat.
Überlastschutz des Motors
Bei Überlastung des Motors schaltet die eingebaute Elektronik den Motor selbsttätig ab. Das Gerät ist anschließend
sofort wieder betriebsbereit.
Lagerung des Produktes
Die Lagerung des Produktes muss bei normaler Raumtemperatur und normaler Luftfeuchtigkeit gewährleistet sein.
Bewahren Sie die Verpackung zur Erhaltung des Produktes für einen weiteren Transport/Lagerung auf.
Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit des Produktes ist gegeben, geprüft nach EMV.
WARTUNG DER SPANNZANGE

Werkzeug entfernen:
Öffnen Sie das Handstück durch Drehen der Griffhülse in Pfeilrichtung
und entnehmen Sie das Werkzeug.
Öffnen Sie das Handstück niemals während des Betriebes.

Motorabschlusskappe entfernen:
Motorabschlusskappe MU 4115 in Pfeilrichtung abschrauben.

Spannzange lösen:
Schrauben Sie die Kappe MU 4199 vom Handstück ab. Halten Sie die
Welle am Motor mit dem Steckschlüssel MU 4136 fest und schrauben
Sie die Spannzange mit dem Spannzangenschlüssel MU 0222 heraus
(Pfeilrichtung).

WARTUNG DER SPANNZANGE

Spannzange entfernen:
Entnehmen, überprüfen, reinigen oder wechseln Sie die Spannzange
aus der Welle. Beschädigte oder verschmutzte Spannzangen verringern
die Spannkraft und die Rundlaufgenauigkeit.
Unfallgefahr!
Es besteht Unfallgefahr, wenn mit der beschädigten Spannzange
weitergearbeitet wird.

Welle reinigen:
Befördern Sie den Schmutz mit der Bürste MU 0492 aus dem Handstück
hinaus.

Spannzange reinigen:
Reinigen Sie die Spannzange MU 0221 (ø 2,35 mm) mit der Bürste
MU 0492.
ø 3,00 mm Spannzangen haben die Bestellnummer MU 0221B.

Spannzange einsetzen:
Führen Sie die Spannzange ein. Halten Sie die Welle am Motor mit dem
Steckschlüssel MU 4136 fest und schrauben Sie die Spannzange mit
dem Spannzangenschlüssel MU 0222 in Pfeilrichtung ein.
Schrauben Sie die Kappe MU 4199 wieder auf.

Motorabschlusskappe montieren:
Stecken Sie den Stecker vorsichtig auf die Kontakte. Schrauben Sie die
Motorabschlusskappe MU 4164 in Pfeilrichtung an und ziehen es mit der
Hand sehr fest.

Werkzeug spannen:
Setzen Sie das Werkzeug ein und schließen Sie die Handstückhülse in
Pfeilrichtung.
Verwenden Sie nur einwandfreie Werkzeuge!

Hinweis zur sicheren Entsorgung
Nach Vorschrift lt. ElektroG. WEEE-Richtlinie 2002/96/EG. Unsere Entsorgungs-ID-Nummer ist auf der Rechnung
vermerkt. Entsorgen Sie Ihr Gerät bitte nicht mit dem Hausmüll, sondern liefern Sie es auf dem Wertstoffsammelhof ab.
Fragen und Antworten
- Drehzahl kann am Steuergerät nicht mehr eingestellt werden: Elektronik oder Potentiometer
wechseln oder einstellen (Service Techniker).
- Spannzange hält nicht mehr oder schlechter Rundlauf: Die Spannzange ist verschmutzt oder defekt
(siehe Wartung); reinigen oder austauschen.
- Im Handstück machen sich ungewöhnliche Geräusche bemerkbar: Das Werkzeug ist nicht richtig
gespannt, die Handstückhülse bis in den Endpunkt schalten oder Kugellager austauschen (Service Techniker).
- Fehleranzeige im Display: E1 Überstrom
-Motor Kurzschuss
-Motorkabel defekt
-Motorkabel nicht angeschlossen
-Motorkabel im Steuergerät defekt.
E2 Anlauf Kommutierungsfehler

Interference by an unauthorised party would nullify any implied warranty. Muss Dental recommends using only new
authorised spare-parts for any repairs needed. As safe and proper operation of the unit can only be guaranteed by
correct use of the relevant burs, as outlined in the instructions.
Scope
The manufacturer’s guidelines for the instruments need to be followed concerning the highest speed
allowance and the contact pressure (shaft of ø 2,35 or ø 3,0 mm). The highest speed allowance of
50.000 rpm may not be exceeded. Please only use rotating instruments from trade-marked
manufacturers and take care of the technical data, only the correct tools/burs need to be used by working
with a speed of 50.000 rpm.
Accident Prevention Regulations are to be followed!
The product needs to be kept indoor of normal room temperature and normal humidity and not to be
used in wet/humid rooms.
Primary function: for grinding purposes in the dental laboratories, only to be used by trained dental
technicians.
Goggles are always necessary when working with rotating instruments.
We advise you to use a dust aspirator or use a mask by working with plaster

Accident Prevention Regulations are to be followed!
If the handpiece is not in use, it should be placed on the handpiece holder, or on any other proper holder.
If the unit is not in proper condition or is not being handled correctly, it is possible that injuries may occur
or cause damage to the material and unit.
Unplug the unit before opening the housing
The repair and maintenance of the electrical parts of the unit may only be done by professionally skilled
and trained workers, informed of the safety guidelines. New spare parts, used in repairing the unit must
be in accordance with spare-parts with the manufacturer required specifications.

Startup (according to the scope of delivery)
- Remove the device completely out of the packaging.
- Set up the table top control unit at an adequate workstation.
- Set up the foot control unit at an adequate workstation.
- Mount the knee control unit onto your table/bench according to the separate instructions (written on the drill template
MU 3061).
Cable Connections
The handpiece needs to be connected and blocked at the back of the control unit at the hub .
Only for table top control units: The treadle switch needs to be connected and blocked at the back of the control
unit at the hub .
Insert the power cord into the back of the control unit. Plug the plug into the power socket.
Operation of Handpiece: H550
Chance the burs only when the handpiece has come to a complete stop. No warranty by disregard! To open the
mechanism (for chuck) you need to turn the grip sleeve clockwise in order to exchange the desired burs. In order to
close it again, you need to turn the grip sleeve counter clockwise until it snaps.
Operation of Foot Control Unit: F501
The rate of revolutions will be continuously variable by activating the foot lever into the direction of max. speed. The
handpiece stops by releasing the foot lever. With the black button one can choose the max . speed of 30.000 rpm or
50.000 rpm, the lamp lights up red if you have chosen 50.000 rpm.

Operation of Knee Control Unit: K501
The control unit needs to be turned “on” with the on/off switch. The “green” pilot lamp lights up. Select the desired max.
speed with the speed-selector lever by turning it clockwise. The selected speed is being shown at the LED reading. The
rate of revolutions will be continuously variable to the set speed. The handpiece comes to a stop by releasing the knee
lever. With the 50.000 rpm button one can choose the max. speed of 30.000 rpm or 50.000 rpm, the lamp lights up
yellow if you have chosen 50.000 rpm. By using the reversal of rotation switch , the direction of course of the
handpiece will change (lamp lights up). The max. speed will be 30.000 rpm.
Operation of Table Top Control Unit: T501
The control unit needs to be turned “on” with the on/off switch. The “green” pilot lamp lights up. Select the desired max.
speed with the speed-selector lever by turning it clockwise. By operating the treadle switch, the selected speed will be
reached, which will be shown at the LED reading. In order to operate the unit without the treadle switch, the treadle
switch just needs to be unplugged. The unit operates at the set max. speed. With the 50.000 rpm button one can choose
the max. speed of 30.000 rpm or 50.000 rpm, the lamp lights up yellow if you have chosen 50.000 rpm. By using the
reversal of rotation switch , the direction of course of the handpiece will change (lamp lights up). The max. speed will
be 30.000 rpm.
Do not clean handpiece with pressure air, also, the use of oil is prohibited!
Check the chuck at least once a month and clean it.
Motor overload protection
In case of an overload, the built-in electronics will shut itself and the motor off. The unit will be ready for further use.
Storage of the product
The storage of the product needs to be guaranteed (normal room temperature and normal humidity). You need to keep
the packaging for storage/transportation purposes.
Electromagnetic compatibility of product is given, tested after EMV.
MAINTENANCE OF THE CHUCK

Removal of the Bur:
To open the handpiece turn the motor grip sleeve in direction of arrow
and remove bur.
Never open handpiece while in use.

Removal of Motor End Cap:
Unscrew motor end cap MU 4115 in direction of arrow.

Loosening of the Chuck:
Unscrew cap MU 4199 from the handpiece. Hold shaft of the motor with
box spanner MU 4136 and unscrew the chuck with the chuck key MU
0222 (direction of arrow).

MAINTENANCE OF THE CHUCK

Remove the Chuck:
Remove chuck out of the shaft, check it, clean it or replace it.
Damaged and fooled chucks reduce the tension and the exact truth of
rotation.
Risk of Accident!
If you work with a defective chuck a risk of accident could be possible.

Cleaning of the Shaft:
Remove dirt with the cleaning brush MU 0492.

Cleaning the Chuck:
Clean the chuck MU 0221 (Ø 2,35 mm) with clean brush MU 0492.
Ø 3,00 mm chucks have the order number MU 0221 B.

Insert the Chuck:
Lock shaft of the motor with the box spanner MU 4136 and screw in
the chuck with the chuck key MU 0222 (direction of arrow).
Screw on cap MU 4198.

Mounting of Motor End Cap:
Carefully place pins into the contacts. Screw in motor end cap MU
4115 and tighten it by hand (direction of arrow).

Tightening of the Burs:
Insert the bur and turn handpiece housing (direction of arrow).
Only use unobjectionable burs.
Please take a look at the warranty conditions which will be enclosed separately.

Des prescriptions concernant la prévention des accidents sont à respecter!
Utilisez-vous l´aspirateur ou la protection de la bouche pendant façonner de plâtre.
Déposez-vous la pièce à main dans le rangement ou porte-outils appropriés afin d´éviter des dangers
dus à une mise en marcher involontaire.
En cas d´état non réglementaire de l´équipement ou d´utilisation non réglementaire, il existe un risque de
blessure ainsi que de danger pour le matériel et l´équipement.
Avant d´ouvrir l´ appareil, tirer la prise mâle.
Des travaux de réparation et d´entretien sur la partie électronique de l´appareil ne doivent être effectués
que par des spécialistes ou par des personnes formés dans l´entreprise et familiarisés avec les
instructions de sécurité. Les pièces de rechange nécessaire au cours d´une réparation doivent
correspondre aux pièce de rechange originales.

-Montez l´appareil de commande à la table avec l´aide de la gabarit de perçage MU3061.
Raccord des câbles:
-La pièce à main sera raccordée et verrouillée à l´arrière de l´appareil de commande, douille .
-Seulement à commande à table: La pédale de manœuvre sera raccordée et verrouillée à l´arrière de l´appareil
de commande, douille .
-Attachez-vous le cordons électriques au verso de appareil de commande et ensuite mettez la fiche dans la prise de
courant.
Le mise en marche de la pièce à main H550
Ne commander l´ouverture ou la fermeture de la pince de serrage que lorsque le moteur est arrêté!
Vous perdez vos droits de garantie en cas d´ une mauvaise utilisation. En tournant la poignée dans le sens des aiguilles
d´une montre, le mécanisme de serrage sera ouvert de sorte que l´instrument rotatif puisse être changé. Pour fermer,
tourner la poignée dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d´une montre jusqu´au verrouillage.

Le mise en marche d´appareil de commande F501
En actionnant la pédale à pied, la vitesse de rotation peut être réglée progressivement. La pièce à main s´arrête en
ramenant la pédale à pied en positon de butée. Vous pouvez changer la vitesse max. 30.000 min-1 ou 50.000 min-1 par
appuyer sur le bouton-poussoir noir, par la vitesse max. 50.000 min-1 la lampe rouge luit.
Le mise en marche d´appareil de commande K501
L´appareil de commande doit mettre en circuit au commutateur. La lampe témoin luit vert. Choissez la vitesse demande
par tourner du commutateur rotatif (vitesse maximum tourner à droite). Lisez la vitesse choisie du indicateur DEL. Par
levier à genouillère vous réglez continu la vitesse de rotation, jusque à la vitesse du maximum ou du demander rotation.
Par relèvement de la genouillère le pièce à main s´arrêtes. Vous pouvez changer la vitesse max. 30.000 min-1 ou 50.000
min-1 par appuyer sur l´inverseur , par la vitesse max. 50.000 min-1 la lampe luit jaune. Pour travailler par la rotation
à gauche serrez l´inverseur (la lampe luit). La vitesse max. est 30.000 min-1 par la rotation à gauche.
Le mise en marche d´appareil de commande T501
L´appareil de commande doit mettre en circuit au commutateur. La lampe témoin luit vert. Choissez la vitesse demande
par tourner du commutateur rotatif (vitesse maximum tourner à droite). Lisez la vitesse choisie du indicateur DEL. En
actionnant la pédale de manœuvre, la vitesse de rotation peut être réglée progressivement, jusque à la vitesse du
maximum ou du demander rotation. Voulez-vous travailler sans la pédale de manœuvre, tenez la pédale de manœuvre
de la douille. La pièce de main travail à la vitesse du maximum ou du demander rotation. Vous pouvez changer la
vitesse max. 30.000 min-1 ou 50.000 min-1 par appuyer sur l´inverseur , par la vitesse max. 50.000 min-1 la lampe luit
jaune. Pour travailler par la rotation à gauche serrez l´inverseur (la lampe luit). La vitesse max. est 30.000 min-1
par la rotation à gauche.
L´usage d´air comprimé et d´huile pour nettoyer le moteur ou la pièce à main est
interdit!
Contrôlez-vous la pince de serrage au moins une fois par mois et nettoyez-vous la pince de serrage.
Dispositif de protection de surcharge du moteur
Lors d´une surcharge, l´alimentation est automatique coupée par le système électronique. Dans ce cas,
l´alimentation sera rétablie par simple relâchement de la commande.
Stockage du produit
Le stockage du produit doit être garanti à la température ambiante normal et sous une humidité de l´air
normal. Pour conserver, stocker et transporter le produit gardez l´emballage.
Le caractère électromagnétique du produit est donné, contrôlé après la prescription
du EMV.
MAINTENANCE DU PINCE DE SERRAGE

Retirer l´instrument rotatif:
Ouvrez-vous la pièce à main en direction de la flèche et enlever
l´instrument rotatif.
Ne pas ouvrir la pièce à main pendant l´utilisation!

Tenir le capot du moteur:
Dévissez-vous la capot du moteur MU 4164 en direction de la flèche.

MAINTENANCE DU PINCE DE SERRAGE

Desserrer la pince de serrage:
Dévissez-vous le capot MU 4199 de pièce à main.
Tenez-vous l´arbre au moteur avec la clé à canon MU 4136 et dévissez-
vous la pince de serrage en direction de la flèche avec la clé de la pince
de serrage MU 0222.

Retirer la pince de serrage:
Retirez-vous la pince de serrage de l´arbre. Nettoyez ou échangez-vous
la pince de serrage. Les pinces de serrage endommagées vont
diminuer le serrage et la précision de rotation.
Danger d´accident !
Il survit de danger d´accident, si est fait avec la pince de serrage
défectueuse plus loin.

Nettoyer l´ arbre:
Enlevez-vous la saleté avec la brosse MU 0492 en direction de la flèche.

Nettoyer la pince de serrage:
Nettoyez-vous la pince de serrage MU 0221 (2,35 mm) avec la brosse
MU 0492.
Le numéro de commande pour la pince de serrage 3 mm est
MU 0221 B.

Replacer la pince de serrage:
Replacez-vous la pince de serrage, tenir l´arbre avec la clé à canon MU
4136 et dévisser la pince de serrage avec la clé de la pince de serrage
MU 0222 en direction de la flèche.
Vissez-vous le capot MU 4199 à la pièce à main.

Remettre le capot de moteur:
Mettez-vous prudemment à la fiche sur les contacts.
Vissez-vous le capot du moteur MU 4213 en direction de la flèche –
arrêter beaucoup à la main.

Serrer l´ instrument rotatif:
Introduisez-vous l´instrument rotatif et tournez-vous le capot de la pièce
à main en direction de la flèche.
Prenez-vous seulement des instruments calibrés.

Lisez-vous le bulletin de garantie pour conclure les condition de la garantie.
Renvoi au l´enlèvement des déchets.
N´enlever pas les déchets de votre appareil avec les déchets ménagers. Livrez-vous le sur la cour collective de matière
valable.
Signale au traitement des déchets sûr
Après la prescription lt. ElektroG. WEEE-Richtlinie 2002/96/EG. Notre numéro d´ID du traitement des déchets est noté
à la calcul.
Avant de s´ adresser au S.A.V.
- Le réglage de la vitesse ne marche plus: échanger le système électronique ou le potentiomètre (S.A.V.).
- La pince de serrage ne tient plus ou mauvaise rotation: la pince de serrage est encrassée ou détériorée
(Entretien). Nettoyez ou changez la pince de serrage.
- Le pièce à main fait un bruit étrange: l´instrument n´est pas correctement serré ou changer le
roulement à bille (S.A.V.).
- Signalisation des défauts à DEL: E1 courant de surcharge
-moteur court-circuit
-câble du moteur est défectueux
-câble du moteur n´est pas en circuit
-câble du moteur dans la commande est défectueux
E2 démarrage ondulations de commutation
