WARNING: Tip Protection bars must be installed whenever the Booklet Maker is used
together with Belt Stacker and Base.

Before mounting the Booklet Maker on Base, secure the Tip Protection bars to the
Base with screws 99237.

Move the Side joggers on the BM 61 to A3 (11” x 17”) position.
Make sure that the Docking plate is aligned with the BM 61 infeed housing.
Join the BM 61 and the Collator with the BM 61 in the position closest to the operator side.
The BM 61 will lock onto the 90323 bracket automatically. To release, push the green
marked side on the docking plate towards the rear side of the machines and separate the
units.
Fit the green adhesive tape 1 on the outfeed paper guide on the Collator and align it with
the green arrow on the rear jogger. When setting up the BM 61 to A4 (8.5” x 11”) the green
tape 1 should be aligned with the green arrow on the rear side jogger.

NOTE: When installing the BM 61 to the Collator,
check (1) the level of the paper path between
machines. If the paper path on the Collator is too
low, place the washers (4 pcs) 97041 between
each castor and the base of the Collator.

Description Note Procedure
1Switch main power on.
2Enter program
mode. The button doesn’t show on panel. Button
is located right under-
neath the start/stop
button.
Press button (A) and hold until all green
LEDs on front go out.

by bin LED no. 10 on
front panel.
Press button (B) repeatedly until
programmable settings no. 10 displays.
4Change value on
settings no. 10. Change value to 200.
Press button (C) once, the last digit displays
Press button (B) to change the last digit
Press button (C) to display the middle digit
Press button (B) to change the middle digit
Press button (C) to display the first digit
Press button (B) to change the first digit
5Confirm setting in
program. Press button (C) when correct value is displayed.
6Change value on
programmable
setting no. 20.
When displaying
settings between no.
11 and no. 20 the third
party LED (D) on front
panel will light up.
Change value to 257.
