• Keep out of reach of children. This is not a toy. Keep close supervision when product is in use
near children.
• Light lens becomes hot during use:
o Duringorimmediatelyafteruse,donotlaytoolatonlightlenssurfaceorplacelens
area in contact with a plastic or fabric covered surface.
o Handletoolwithcarearoundanyammablesurface.
o Do not use or permit use of tool in bed or sleeping bags. This tool lens can melt fabric
and a burn injury could result.
• Do not let gasoline, oils, petroleum-based products, etc. come in contact with plastic parts.
They contain chemicals that can damage, weaken, or destroy plastic.
• CAUTION: Never stare directly into light or point in someone’s eyes as this could cause
eye damage.
• Strong impacts may cause damage to the product; please handle with care.
• Underabusiveconditions,liquidmaybeejectedfromthebattery;avoidcontact.Ifcontact
 accidentallyoccurs,ushwithwaterforaminimumof10minutes.Ifliquidcontactseyes,

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• For best results, your battery tool should be charged in a location where the temperature is
 morethan50°F(10˚C)butlessthan104˚F(40˚C).Donotstoreoutsideorinvehicles.
• NOTE: Work light contains a strong magnet in stand-up base. Do not set work light on or
 nearcomputerequipment,computerdisksorothertypesofmagneticstorageorequipment.
 Magneticeldscanerasedata.
• Do not attempt to change the batteries as this will void the limited warranty.
• Do not attempt to alter or change the LED bulbs as this will void the limited warranty.
• WARNING: Read, understand and follow all printed material provided with or on this device.
Do not leave light energized or unattended, do not lay light face down. Keep out of the reach
of children. Only use charging devices provided by the manufacturer. Do not over charge the
battery. Do not store device for extended periods of time. Charge every 3 months during
storage. Do not use in wet conditions as it is not waterproof.
This product has been shipped completely assembled.
• Carefully remove the tool and any accessories from the box. Make sure that the light and both
chargers are included.
• Inspect the tool carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping.
• Do not discard the packing material until you have carefully inspected and satisfactorily
operated the tool.
• Please check light for damage or cracks before using as this can cause the product to fail or
injure the user.
• Chargethebatterycompletelybeforeusingforthersttime.
• The MEK light has two modes:
o High
o Low
• To switch work light to High, press button above the tripod to the “I” position.
• To switch work light to Low, press button above the tripod to the “II” position.
• To switch work light OFF, press button above the tripod to the “O” position.
• Ensure light is securely attached with hook or stable on tripod before working under unit to
prevent injury or damage.
• Collapse the three legs to use in handheld mode.
• Fully extend the three legs to use in standing mode.

WARNING:Proceduresnotspecicallyexplainedinthemanualmustbeperformedonlybya
qualiedtechnician.
• Unplug the charger from the electrical outlet before attempting any maintenance or cleaning
to reduce the risk of electric shock.
• Cleaning instructions: wipe down with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
• Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage
from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use.
• WARNING:Donotatanytimeletbrakeuid,gasoline,petroleum-basedproducts,
penetrating oils, etc. to come in contact with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or
destroy plastic which may result in serious personal injury.
• Do not attempt to alter or change the LEDs as this will void the limited warranty.
• To preserve natural resources, please recycle or dispose of batteries properly. This product
contains lithium-ion batteries. Local, state, or federal laws may prohibit disposal of lithium-ion
batteries in ordinary trash. Consult your local waste authority for information regarding
available recycling and/or disposal options.
• Always make sure the unit is in the OFF position while charging.
• If the casing around the battery feels warm after use, allow the product to cool down before
charging.
• The housing around the battery may become slightly warm while charging. This is normal
and does not indicate a problem.
• Do not turn the light on while charging; the light cannot operate while charging.
• Do not abuse the cord or charger. Never use the cord to carry the charger. Do not pull the
charger cord to disconnect the plug from receptacle. Damage to the cord or charger could
occur and create an electric shock hazard. Replace damaged cords immediately.
• Make sure that the cord is located so that it will not be stepped on, tripped over, come in
contact with sharp edges or moving parts, or otherwise subjected to damage or stress. This
will reduce the risk of accidental falls, which could cause injury and damage to the cord,
which could then result in electric shock.
• Do not leave the unit plugged in after it is fully charged; this may lead to damaging or
shortening the life of your battery.
• Do not use charging cords other than those provided by manufacturer with this unit.
• The DC charging cord lighter plug may become very warm when in use. Unplug from
 receptaclewithcaution;keepthecordandlighterplugawayfromammablematerials.
• Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use
any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools.
• Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges
and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or
grounded.
RECHARGING THE UNIT
MAINTENANCE

• AC Charge:
- Insert the AC charging plug into the charging jack. Use only the supplied AC adapter.
- Plug the transformer end of the AC adapter into an appropriate AC outlet.
- The red LED indicator light will illuminate to indicate that the work light is charging.
- ThegreenLEDindicatorlightwillilluminatewhenfullycharged(about7hours).
• DC Charge:
- Insert the DC charging plug into the charging jack. Use only the supplied DC adapter.
- Plug the other end into the 12V socket of your vehicle.
- The red LED indicator light will illuminate to indicate that the work light is charging.
- ThegreenLEDindicatorlightwillilluminatewhenfullycharged(about6.5hours).
• DO NOT disassemble your work light or attempt to remove the battery.
• DO NOT puncture or otherwise damage the battery. If battery becomes damaged, properly
dispose of work light.
• DO NOT use any charging means other than those provided. The supplied AC to DC 12V
 500mAchargingadapterand12VDCvehiclechargingcordsaremadespecicallytocharge
the built-in sealed battery.
