HEATING UNDER BLANKET
USER'S INSTRUCTIONS
Thank you for purchasing a Naimoli-Tech product.
Starting from the need to improve the well-being and the quality of people's life,
we designed and produced heating underblankets, without electric cables in the
heated area, thanks to the innovative CARBON RELAX technology.
This new technology allows a targeted application of heat without disturbing your
body. We put your safety and well-being first of all. News in terms of wellness and
safety, an extra low voltage (working at only 15 Volts).
It meets all the safety provisions provided by international regulations.
In this case the electric shock protection is based
on the Safety Extra - Low Voltage (SELV) power supply.

KEEP FOR FUTURE USE
Read carefully the operating instructions and safety warnings before using
the appliance and comply with them. Keep this manual with the
illustrative guide for future consultation, for all the product lifetime. In case
of you pass the appliance to another user, make sure to also include
the whole documentation.
Reading this instruction booklet, in case of dubts or difficulty to understand
some parts of it, contact the company before using the product, at the
address indicated on this manual.

SAFETY WARNINGS
•
After removing the heating under blanket from its packaging, check the supply
integrity and any possible presence of damage caused by transport.
If in doubt, do not use the product and contact an authorized Service Centre.
•
Don’t let children play with the packaging! Keep the plastic bag out of the reach
of children - risk of suffocation!
•
This heating under blanket is intended exclusively as an electric blanket for
home use and it is not intended for medical or commercial use.
Any other use is considered not compliant and therefore dangerous.
•
Before connecting the heating under blande, please make sure that the voltage
indicated on the identification plate corresponds to that of the mains voltage.

The product must be installed according the provided instructions, an incorrect
installation may cause damage to people and things.
•
The product is not to be used by children under 8 years old and people with
reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities, or with no experience or
knowledge, unless supervised by a person or after having received
instructions regarding the heating under blanket and the electric power supply
safely use, and if they’re aware about the related risks.
•
Cleaning and maintenance operation cannot be done by children, unless under
surveillance. always disconnect the plug from the power supply before clearing
or maintenance.
•
The heating under blanket is not to be used by people who are insensitive to
heat or vulnerable and unable to react to overheating.
•
WARNING –NOT suitable for children under the age of 3.
Children under the age of 3 must not use the appliance due to their inability to
react to overheating

This heating under blanket is not intended to be used by children
( 3-8years old ) when controls have not been previously set by a parent

or a custodian; or without having properly instructed the child on how to
use the device in safe manner.

DO NOT let children play with the power supply.
DO NOT operate the temperature control with wet hands.
•
DO NOT pull the power cable to the appliance itselfs to disconnect the plug
from the socket.

DO NOT use when wet.
•
DO NOT use to warm animals.
•
DO NOT use on an adjustable bed; otherwise check that the blanket or the
cable do not get stuck or blocked.
•
DO NOT tuck in.
This product is not a medical device and it is not designated for medical use
in the hospitals.

DO NOT INSERT PINS OR NEEDLES.
Do NOT position the control under the pillow, sheets or blankets when
the appliance is connected. Always unplug the appliance in case of disuse.

If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced by an authorised technical
service centre, so as to prevent all risks.
In case of appliance breakdown or malfunction, switch it off without tampering.
Any repairs must only be carried out by an authorised technical service centre.
•
The appliance must be used solely with the types of control indicated on the
label.

PREPARATION -
PLACING THE ELECTRIC BLANKET (FIG. 1)
WARNING!
•
The electric blanket must only be placed between the mattress and the flat
sheet, not directly on top of people in the bed.
•
Make sure that the electric blanket is of the correct size for the mattress; do not
use a measure too bir or too small.
•
Make sure that the electric blanket is always properly laid out, avoiding
creases and wrinkles.
•
Lay the electric blanket (A) on the mattress (1), position it with the cable outlet
at the head of the bed (2), wrap the elastic of the electric blanket around the
mattress (3), starting from the foot of the bed and then move on to the part of
the head.
•
Make sure that the electric under blanket is flat and tight to the mattress,
and that there are no folds or creases. At this point lay the first sheet (B)
on the electric blanket, then make the bed as usual (C).
The under blanket must be well covered as described above, this procedure
will enable a diffuse and pleasant warmth.
WARNING! Blanket for underneath.
•
Frequently check the appliance for signs of wear and tear. If such signs are
found or if the appliance has been used incorrectly, contact an authorised
technical service centre before continuing to use it.
•
We reccomend to people with a pacemaker to consult a doctor before using
the product. The generated electromagnetic fields could disturb the use of the
pacemaker; despite the emissions of our electric blanket are really far below
the limits, do not use it without a medical advice.

ELECTRIC BLANKET FUNCTIONING

WARNING!
Use the under blanket only with the electronic controller provided (model
PU.NML.001).

Make sure that the connecting cable (4) from the controller is correctly plugged
into the connector on the upper side of the blanket (2). For the 2-persons
blanket, it is necessary to repeat the operation to connect the second connecting
cable too. Plug the cable/plug into the controller socket (5), and insert the plug into
the wall socket (6).
SWITCHING ON/OFF THE ELECTRIC BLANKET
AND FUNCTIONING
ON/OFF SWITCH (FIG. 3-4)
The on/off switch (1) ispositioned on the underside of the controller ( fig.3), and it
allows to power the system. In “1” position the system is powered and the LED 1
lights signal that the controller (fig.4) has switched on. In this condition, the sytem
does not power the electric under blanket, but it is in standby more ready for
operation.
FUNCTIONING (FIG. 4)
TIMER BUTTONS 2
SWITCH ON: The timer button 2 allows the start of the heating function. A long
pression (3 seconds) on button 2 (timer) switches the system on with the timer set at
1 hour of operation.
TIMER:Pressing button 2 allows setting the heating timer from 1h to 8h.

INTENTIONAL SWITCHING STANDBY MODE: Long press (3 seconds) on
button 2 allows the intentional interruption of the heating function setting it in standby
mode, activating the red LED (1).
AUTOMATIC SWITCH OFF WITH TIMER FUNCTION: At the end of the set timer,
the under blanket automatically switches off returning to standby mode, activating
the red LED.
POWER BUTTON 3
It is possible to set the heating power on 8 different level by pressing button 3
obtaining 8 different temperatures.
Switching on the system, the power is set by default to level 1, by the button 3 it is
possible to adjust the heating power as desired.
For a long lasting and the night use of the device it is suggest to set the
power at level 1.
After about 40 minutes, the bed will be pleasantly warm.
FAST PREHEATING FUNCTION:
The system is equipped with the "BOOST" function for the rapid heating of the
electric under blanket: setting the power level at 8, the controller provides the
maximum power for 50 minutes, after which it automatically takes the power output
to level 1 and it is no longer possible to use the "BOOST" function until the device is
restarted.
DISCONNESSION (Fig.3)
Use always the switch positioned on the underside of the controller to turn the
system off, position the controller on "0", and disconnect the plug from the socket.
(fig.1 position 6).
IMPORTANT
The device may be powered at 50 Hz or 60 Hz without any action or any setting by
the user.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING!
Before the cleaning, disconnect always the electric blanket to the
power unit and the controller.
WARNING!
Never immerse the control in water or in other liquids.
Wipe the control with a soft, dry cloth.
WARNING!
Do not dry clean or use chemical that could damage the electric blanket
and jeopardize its functioning.
MACHINE WASHING
•
The electric blanket is machine washable with a delicate program (30/40°)
•
DO NOT use a final spin cycle
•
Washing is suggested only in case of soiling; too frequent washing can
accelerate the wear of the product itself.
Do not wash the blanket if the resistors emerge from the fabric.
HAND WASHING
•
The electric blanket is hand washable at a max. temperature of 30/40°.
•
Use a liquid soap for delicate fabrics (refer to product indications for dosage).
•
Washing is suggested only in case of soiling; too frequent washing can
accelerate the wear of the product itself.
Do not wash the blanket if the resistors emerge from the fabric.

WARNING!
Store the appliance in a dry and clean place, protected from
sunlight.
WARNING!
When storing the appliance, leave it to cool before folding it.
DRYING
•
DO NOT use the electric blanket until it is completely dry.
•
DO NOT expose it to direct sunlight to prevent it from turning yellow and to
avoid colour change in wool or fabric.
•
DO NOT use dryers.
•
Hang until it is completely dry by the upper part.
•
Ironable at low temperature. Max temperature of the iron: 110°.
•
Inspect the electric blanket to check for possible damages.
•
In case of problems, return the electric blanket back (whit its power supply)
to an authorised Service Centre for safety inspection.

PROBLEM SOLUTION
The control light does not go on.
Check that the control inlet is properly inserted and
the starting instructions of the appliance have been
correctly followed.
Check that the plug is properly inserted into the
socket and that the power supply is on.
Check that the temperature selector is correctly
positioned.
The appliance must be inspected by an
authorized Service Centre only,
to prevent any risk.
WARNING! Do not make folds and/or deform the
appliance and be careful not to place on its top heavy
objects that could crush and damage it.
•
The wool could be non-uniform in colour or the colour could change
over a period of time and have fine graining, typical of natural fibres.
•
Fabric may turn yellow in the course of time; it is a natural process.
Appliance safety and/or performance are not jeopardized by this by this
phenomenon in any way.
DISPOSAL
For environmental reasons the appliance cannot be disposed of the normal waste
when it is out of use. The disposal must be carried out in the specific waste site.
The appliance must be disposed of the European Directive regarding waste of
electronic and electric devices (RAEE).For further information, please contact the
local authorities responsible for disposal.
PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS
For environmental reasons the appliance cannot be disposed of the normal waste
when it is out of use. The disposal must be carried out in the specific waste site.
The appliance must be disposed of the European Directive regarding waste of
electronic and electric devices (RAEE).
For further information, please contact the local authorities responsible for disposal.

PERIODIC CHECKS
Frequently inspect the appliance and the flexible power cord for signs of wear
and tear.
In case of such signs or malfunctioning, take the appliance to one of the
Technical Service Centre or contacting the Manufacturer or the Distributor.
PROBLEM SOLUTION
The appliance must be inspected
by an authorized Service Centre only,
to prevent any risk.
The control is damaged.
Fabric is pleated or creased.
There are holes or tears in fabric.
Fabric is faded owing to heat.
The appliance was subject to improper use
or accidentally damaged.
