Starng the Engine (Picture E, F, G)
a. Open the throle switch, close the choke, adjust the throle valve to proper posion, rst,
slightly pull the starng handle ll feeling a lile resistance, then pull forcefully to start the gaso-
line engine.
b. Aer starng, let the engine run 1-3 minutes at idle speed, meanwhile, check the engine work-
ing condion whether it runs stably or smoothly and there is any abnormal noise, then open the
choke to maximum and adjust the throle opening to obtain required speed. To the present, the
starng process is completely over.
Stopping the engine (Picture G1)
When running engine, keep yourself far away from the muer and don’t face exhaust outlet for
your health. Pay aenon to abnormal state of the engine in the running. If nding abnormal
sound, grate vibraon, serious traveling and ring gun, etc. stop the engine at once.
Cauon: Urgency stopping engine: Set the stopping switch to OFF posion or directly pull out the
spark plug. Correct stopping the engine is: First remove load, idle run 2-3 minutes, then, set the
stopping switch to OFF posion or directly pull out the spark plug, the machine will stop at once.
Don’t directly stop the engine without removing load in normal condion.
Main adjustments (Pictures H, I, J)
Each gasoline engine has been strictly tested and inspected in our factory, general, the machine
can normally run without any adjustment. Aer operang some me, adjust to gasoline engine as
following procedure if necessary:
1. Adjust the valve gap: intake valve gap: 0.10-0.15mm; exhaust valve gap: 0.15 0.20mm.
a. Grasp valve gap adjusng nut and release valve lock nut.
b. Turn valve gap adjusng nut to specied gap.
c. Grasp valve gap adjusng nut and screw up valve lock nut.
d. Aer screwing up valve lock bolt, recheck valve gap.
2. Adjust the governor system (big and small tension spring, throle support, and throle gover-
nor lever)
a. Remove the fuel tank.
b. Screw o lock nut and move the throle support to completely open the valve.
c. Aer moving the throle support, opening valve and turning the throle governor lever in same
direcon to farthermost posion where it can reach, screw up lock nut.
d. Check if throle support and valve move smoothly.
e. Install the fuel tank.

Checking the air cleaner (Picture D)
Air cleaner has two types of the semi-dry and oil bath. Check whether air cleaner is clean and
foam shall be free from dust.
First using oil bath air cleaner, lling clean machine oil level (oil level marked on the outer case of
oil bath air cleaner) should be ushed with oil level of the air cleaner outer case. Clearly see safety
and warning appliqué before starng.
Notes of unpacking
Carefully make the gasoline engine in normal condion when unpacking. Carefully check whether they are complete according to the packing list. Our com-
pany provides gasoline engine with ne quality, environment, performances and cost rao high.
If you have any queson in the operaon, please consult with local dealer or directly telephone to our aer sale service centre.
Cauon: Don’t disassemble the gasoline engine by yourself within warrant period! (If disassembling by user, can’t join warrant cercaon).
Maintenance (Picture K)
Everyday maintenance: A Check the lter element of the air cleaner, remove the dirt and foreign materials to keep the element clean. B Check the fastening
nuts whether they are ghtened. C Check the lubricaon Oil level whether it is kept within specied range. Aer the engine running about 25 hours, the air
cleaner should be cleaned. Aer the engine running about 50 hours, the spark plug must be checked, remove its carbon deposits, and adjust its gap to 0.7-
0.8mm.
Check radiang n and remove the dirt among them. Replace the lubricaon oil, unscrew the drain plug, lt the engine slightly and let the lubricaon oil
drain out, add the kerosene to clean and then drain it out, nally, ghten the drain plug and ll in the new lubricaon oil to the specied oil level.
Aer every 100 hours running, the fuel tank and lter strainer must be cleaned. Open the fuel tank cover, take out the lter strainer and clean it with brush.
Take o the fuel tank, clean inside of the tank and remove the dirt and water aached on the internal surface of the tank. Reassemble the tank and t the
strainer, then ll in new fuel oil ll the oil level reaching the red basic line.
Aer running every two years, check the ageing condion of the oil tube. If there is any ageing, hardening or crack, it must be replaced. Tighten the replaced
oil tube joints and check its leakage.
Maintenance before stopping use for long me
For some reasons, if the engine is not used for a long me, it must be maintained one me before is stored: A Take o the fuel tank, drain out all fuel and
clean the dirt and water inside of the tank. Open th fuel cock, unscrew the drain plug at the boom of carbureor, drain out fuel in carbureor thoroughly,
and then, screw the drain plug to original posion. B Unscrew the drain plug at the boom of the crankcase and drain out the lubricaon oil in crankcase
thoroughly, then ghten the drain plug. C Clean the outer surface of the gasoline engine with clean coon, remove the dirt and dust etc., then store the gaso-
line engine in a clean and dry place where is in good venlaon condion. D Turn cranksha and make the gasoline piston stopping at upper limit posion in
order to avoid it entering in. Disposing wasted oil: Pleas use a special container to collect wasted oil from gasoline engine and send to local wasted oil staon
for disposing. Don’t pour everywhere.
Transportaon & Storage
Lightly handle in the loading and unloading, keep upright and don’t incline. Strictly prohibit bumping and protect from drenching in the transportaon. The
gasoline engine should be stored in the clean, venlang, moisture-proof and damp proof place. If storing the engine for a long me:
1. Store the gasoline engine in the clean, venlang, moisture-proof and damp-proof place.
2. Drain the fuel completely out of the machine (including machine oil in the oil bath type air cleaner).
