Packing up
1. Press the trigger and hold for a few seconds and then release, the blade will close and will not open.
2. Switch o the baery, disconnect the power cord from baery.
3. Tidy up, clean up and pack the pruner into the tool box.
Baery Charging (Picture 2)
It is recommended to charge new baery before the rst use of the electric pruning shear. To charge the baery, ensure the baery power switch is in OFF
posion. Plug the baery charger output into the baery charging jack then plug the charger into a power socket. The LED indicator on the baery will turn
RED during charging and turn GREEN when the baery is fully charged.
Oil on the lead screw nut (Picture 3)
Please oil on the lead screw nut aer pruning shear is on working 7 days or shear force is reduced signicantly.
Cauons
1. Before charging, please ensure baery power switch is in OFF posion. During charging, it is normal for the charger and baery to be warm.
2. If the baery is not use for a long period of me, it recommended to charge the baery once every 3 months, this is to ensure the baery life is not aect-
ed by low usage.
3. For new baery or baery unused for a long me, it will need about 5 charge-discharge cycles before achieving full capacity.
4. Do not recharge a fully charged baery just aer a few minutes of usage, this will reduce the baery lifespan and eciency.
5. Do not use a damaged baery and do not disassemble the charger or baery.
6. Do not place baery near high temperature heat source, the baery will explode in re or long exposure to high temperature heat source.
7. Do not charge the baery in outdoor or humid environment.
8. It is normal for the pruning shear to reduce cung diameter when the baery capacity is geng low.
9. Do not use the pruning shear during charging. It must be disconnected from the baery during charging.
10. Do not store the baery in a humid environment.
Blade replacement (Picture 4)
When the moving blade no longer crosses the xed blade throughout its length, or when the power pruner could no longer have a clean cut aer grinding,
blade replacement is recommended with the following steps:
1. For safety, before replacing the blade, please ensure the pruning shear is power OFF and power cable disconnected from the baery.
2. Refer to the diagrams below on the procedure to replace the blade.
3. Clean up the blade aer replacing, connect to power cable to baery, power ON to test the blade, close up the blade to complete the whole procedure.
* Fixed and movable blades can be replaced individually; do not worry about the size of the replacement blade aperture, the opening will automacally
return to normal size during power ON aer compleng blade replacement.
Operaon Precauons
Usage and Care for Pruning Shear
1. Do not cut branches beyond the specied diameter indicated, do not cut hard items such as metals, stone or any other non-plant materials. If the blades
are worn or damaged, please replace the blades.
2. Keep the pruning shear clean, use a clean cloth to clean the pruning shear, baery and charger (do not use any abrasive or solvent-based cleaning agent),
use a so brush or a dry to clean the dust o the pruning shear head.
3. Do not immerse the pruning shear, baery or charger in any liquid.
4. Follow instrucons as given for proper use of the pruning shear, do not use the pruning shear when the tool itself, baery or charger is damaged.
5. Do not use the pruning shear if it could not operate or shut down properly, send for servicing immediately. It is dangerous to use the pruning shear when
the tool could not operate or shut down properly.
6. Please ensure the power pruner is powered OFF during any adjustment, changing accessories or storage. This protecve measure aims to reduce the risk
of accidental pruning shear acvaon.
7. Please ensure the blades are closed when not in use, storage of the pruning shear must keep out of reach from CHILDREN, do not allow any person who
is not familiar with the pruner operaon or instrucon to use the pruning shear, it is dangerous to use the pruning shear without proper training and under-
standing.
8. The use of the pruning shear must comply with instrucons stated in this manual and methods of use as well as taking in consideraons of the working
environment and nature of work undertaken. The use of the pruning shear not within its stated capability and specicaons is dangerous.
9. Remove all dirt from the moving and xed blades aer each use, thereaer apply lubricant on the blade side where both moving and xed blade contact.
This will ensure the blades are maintained in good condions and reduce resistance during use prolonging the pruner and blade lifespan.
Usage and Care for Baery
1. Do not charge baery with ambient temperature below 32°F (0°C) or above 113°F (45 °C).
2. Please ensure the baery is switched o before connecng the power cord to the baery.
3. Only use baery charger as supplied together with the pruning shear; the use of any other charger not matching to the charging specicaon of the bat-
tery may cause re.
4. Items such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or any other conducve items must be keep away from baery when not in use.
5. Do not disassemble the baery.
6. Do not short-circuit the baery.
7. Do not use the baery beside heat source.
8. Do not put the baery in re or in water.
9. Do not charge the baery near re or under direct sunlight
10. Do not insert nail into the baery, hammer the baery, stomp the baery, throw the baery or any other form of shocks to the baery.
11. Do not use baery that is damaged or deformed.
12. Do not perform soldering or welding on the baery.
13. Do not reverse direcon of charging baery, reverse polarity of connecons or excessive discharge of baery.
14. Do not connect the baery to charging outlets or car cigaree lighter socket.
15. Do not use the baery on equipment other than the designated pruning shear.
