Prior to each use, it is important to check the status of the device: seams, state of the straps and of
the fabric. Any damage will either be repaired by NAUSICAA Medical, or will result in a disposal.
For hygienic reasons and respect for health protocol, textile products have been opened will not be
returned nor exchanged.

SIDE RAIL PADS
The foam protectors are installed on the bed rails thus preventing the patient from bumping
and passing the limbs through the barriers which protects him from contact with the metal.
The quick and easy attachment to the bed rails is done with quick buckles (25 mm).
The removable protective cover is classified M1 fire.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE :
DO NOT USE THIS SLING IF THE SIZE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THE PATIENT.
Place the cotsides bumpers inside the side rails, zipper down, against the mattress.
• Close the buckles and adjust tight the straps around the tubes of the side rails.
• Check if the cotsides bumpers are well fixed to the side rails, without any possibility to turn around.
CLEANING :
• Clean with a soft cloth and warm soapy water on the surface of the cotsides bumper.
• Desinfect the surface of the cotside bumper with any used desinfection product.
Cleaning of the covers :
• Never wash the covers together with the foam (see front page).
The Siderail Pads are installed on the bed barriers and prevent the patient from bumping and moving
its limbs through the bed rails, thus protecting him from contact with the metal.
The quick and easy fixations to the siderails is made thanks to adjustable buckles (25 mm).
The removable foam cover is manufactured in a flame retardant fabric (classified CRIB 5).
