Pleasemakesurethereisnorealfiredangerwhenusingmutefunction.Ifnon‐emergencysmoke(e.g.Steam)causes
nuisancealarms,pleasedonotstopalarmbyblocksmokedetectororinotherforms.Youcouldpressthemute/testbutton
tostopalarmtemporarily.(Tenminuteslater,thesmokedetectorwillbebacktonormalworkingcondition)
Pressandreleasethetestbuttontotestthealarm.Thealarmwillsoundloudshortbeeps.Itmeansthesmokedetectorcan
worknormally.Thealarmmaystopsoundingoncereleasingthetestbutton.Itissuggestedtotestthesmokealarmatleast
onetimeeveryweek.Donotuseanopenflametotestthissmokealarm.
