1.0 Unpacking Bench Mount Kiosk
Remove the strapping from the Bench Mount carton.
Caution: The strapping is under tension and can flick
when cut.
Carefully lift the carton off the Pallet.
Remove SST Bench Mount packaging from Kiosk
packaging.
Remove the documentation from the foam packaging
and retain for future reference.
CAUTION: DO NOT OPEN THE KIOSK LCD
SCREEN DOOR UNTIL ASSEMBLY WITH THE SST
BENCH MOUNT IS COMPLETE OUTLINED IN THE
FOLLOWING STEP “2.0 INSTALLATION”.
Remove tape & fold back foam packaging to reveal the
Kiosk in the Carton Base.
The removal of the green LCD Screen protective film &
plastic Swipe Cover covers are to be completed at the
end of the installation process to avoid damage.

2.0 Installation
Remove SST Bench Mount from packaging.
Remove & discard the packaging tape & cardboard.
Remove & discard the foam packaging from SST
Bench Mount.
Mount the SST Bench Mount onto the final location
using suitable fasteners.
SST Kiosk requires a two-person lift.
Lift the Kiosk from the Carton Base and present it to
the SST Bench Mount.
Tilt the Kiosk approx. 15°.
Gently slide Kiosk into the rear slot to a stop position &
lower the Kiosk down onto the 2x SST Bench Mount
Studs.
While one person supports the front of the Kiosk,
unlock, and open the LCD Screen Door and Lower
Door by unlocking the Lock at the Right-hand side of
the Kiosk using the key provided.
The LCD Screen Door is heavy - failure to support
the Kiosk from the front will result in the Kiosk
tipping over.
Slide out the Peripheral Drawer.

Select 2x M6 Black Clamping Knob from Packaging
Kit.
With the second person standing at the rear of the
Kiosk, instal 2x M6 Black Clamping Knobs onto Studs
and firmly hand tighten (Note: Peripheral Drawer
assembly removed for clarity).
Slide Peripheral Drawer back into position.
Close Lower Door & LCD Screen Door.

3.0 Installing BNA Enclosure
Remove the BNA Mount from the carton.
Remove the documentation from the foam packaging
and retain for future reference.
Discard the foam packaging & carton.
Unlock, and open the LCD Screen Door by unlocking
the Lock at the Right-hand side of the Kiosk using the
key provided
Present the BNA Enclosure to the RH side of the
Pedestal Frame.

Pre-feed the Looms into the hole of the Kiosk as
shown.
Select 3x M6 Black Clamping Knob from Packaging
Kit.
Align the 3x Pins into the holes of the Kiosk.
Instal 3x M6 Black Clamping Knobs onto the Studs and
firmly hand tighten (Note: components removed for
clarity).
Plug in the USB and Power Looms into the BNA
Harness Bracket located in the inner RH Side of Kiosk.

3.0 Installing BNA Enclosure (continued)
4.0 Power up the Kiosk
Push Switch Push Button into the #1 port on the D-Link
Hub 7 Port as shown.
Power, Network ports are accessed from the LH side
of the unit.
The Kiosk is intended to be used in a location having
equipotential bonding (such as a restricted access
area) and is connected to power using an earthed IEC
cable supplied.
Verification of the protective earthing connection of the
socket-outlet to be performed by a skilled person.
Plug in the Network cable into position shown.
Plug the Power lead into power point.

4.0 Power up the Kiosk (continued)
5.0 Loading printer paper
Unlock and open the LCD Screen Door and Lower
Door by unlocking the Lock at the Right-hand side of
the Kiosk using the key provided.
This provides access to the Kiosk power switch.
Switch unit from O → I (note: components removed for
clarity).
Unlock and open the LCD Screen Door and Lower
Door by unlocking the Lock at the Right-hand side of
the Kiosk using the key provided.
This provides access to the Kiosk internals.
To access the printer paper tray, pull out the green tray
towards the operator.

5.0 Loading printer paper (continued)
Remove the paper spindle from the Packaging Kit.
Slide the paper roll onto the paper spindle and install
into roller supports.
Paper feeds into Printer from top of roll.
Ensure paper roll coated surface is fed into the printer
face up.
Stage 1: Push in green tray and close Lower Door.
Stage 2: Close & lock the LCD Screen Door via the
Lock at the Right-hand side of the Kiosk using the key
provided.
