2.1 Description of Neva Board
Neva Board is a self-balancing high-tech electrical scooter. It is based on a dynamic balance principle,
moving forwards, backwards and stop. It has easy to manage with flexible controls, low carbon output and
green environmental credentials that is suitable for outdoor use.
Self-balancing boards are widely used in leisure walking, scenic tours, security patrol and many other fields.

2.3 Working Principles
Neva Board uses gyroscope and acceleration
sensors to control balance intelligently and
dependent on centre of the gravity.
Self-balancing boards also use a servo-control
system to drive the motor accurately so it works in
sync with the human body. When you stand on the
board and tilt your body forward or backwards the
power unit will control the wheels in a forward or
backward direction, adjusting balance when you
need to turn, slow down, or move your body to the
left or right.
The built-in inertia dynamic stabilization system
controls the motion and direction, however it
cannot guarantee the stability of sideways
movements. When you ride the board, shift your
weight in order to overcome the centrifugal force
and the direction will adjust according to the
pressure applied.

Display Unit
3.1 Power Button
To start the board, press and hold this button and the same action to turn the board off.
3.2 Mat Sensors
There are four sensors under the mat which will automatically adjust to the balance mode when the user stands
on the board. It is important that feet are planted evenly across the mats and footplates.
3.3 Display Unit
The display unit is located in the centre
of the Neva Board and is designed to
display the running information.
3.4 Battery Display
The green light on the charger (transformer) indicates that the self-
balancing board is fully charged. If the red light on the charger
(transformer) is still displayed, this indicates that the Neva Board is
not fully charged yet.

IMPORTANT
When the LED indicator light turns green, you must take off charge straight
away to prevent the charging life of the battery being diminished.
Green LED light - Neva Board is fully charged.
Yellow LED light - Power is down to 50%
Red LED light - Power is approx 20%. Re-charge straight away.
Running LED - When the operator triggers the foot switches, the running LED
will light up. This means that the system enters the motion state. If the system
has an operating error the running LED light will turn to red.

4.2 Maximum Range
Factors that will affect the drive distance:
• Terrain: A smooth, flat surface will increase the riding distance
but inclines and rough uneven surfaces will have a contrary
effect and reduce the overall distance on a single charge.
• Weight: The weight of the driver can affect riding distance.
The heavier the user the quicker the battery usage increases.
• Maintenance: Regular battery charging and maintenance
will increase the distance.
• Speed and riding style: Maintaining a moderate speed will
increase distance, on the contrary, frequent start-stop,
acceleration and deceleration will reduce the distance.
4.3 Speed Limit
• Maximum speed is 10 km/h.
• When approaching the maximum speed
the buzzer alarm will ring.
• If the speed exceeds the specified the board will
take the initiative to tilt the driver to make the speed
work within a safe range.
The display board is located in the centre
of the Neva Board and is designed to
display the running information.
4.1 Weight Limit
Maximum load : 100kg. Minimum load : 20kg
