INFORMACIÓN GENERAL
Gracias por la compra de nuestro calefactor eléctrico con ventilador de
cerámica. Le recomendamos que dedique algún tiempo a leer estas
instrucciones con el fin de comprender plenamente todas las
características de funcionamiento que ofrece.
Medidas de Seguridad Importantes
Cuando se utilizan aparatos eléctricos, con el fin de reducir el riesgo de
incendio, descarga eléctrica y/o lesiones a las personas, las precauciones
básicas de seguridad deben seguirse, incluyendo las siguientes:
Los niños deben ser supervisados para asegurarse de que no jueguen
con el aparato.
El producto es para uso doméstico.
Conecte el aparato a la alimentación de electricidad monofásica de la
tensión especificada en la placa de características.
Para evitar el sobrecalentamiento, no cubra el calentador.
Nunca deje el calentador desatendido mientras está en uso. Apague
siempre el interruptor en la posición OFF y desconecte de la toma de
corriente cuando no esté en uso.
Ponga extremo cuidado cuando use cualquier calentador cerca de
niños o inválidos, o una persona de edad y siempre que se deje el
calefactor en funcionamiento sin supervisión.
El aparato no debe estar colocado inmediatamente bajo una toma de
corriente eléctrica.

No pase el cable debajo la alfombra ni tampoco lo cubra con
alfombras, tapetes o similares. Coloque el cable lejos del área de tráfico
y donde no pueda provocar tropezones.
No ponga a funcionar el calentador con un cable o enchufe dañado, si
el cable de alimentación está dañado, no puede ser reemplazado y el
calefactor debe ser destruido.
El cable no se debe colocar cerca de la superficie caliente del aparato.
Evite el uso de un cable de extensión ya que este puede recalentarse y
provocar riesgo de incendio.
Utilice el calentador en un área bien ventilada. No inserte o permita que
objetos entren en ninguna ventilación o salida de aire. Para evitar un
posible incendio, no bloquee las entradas de aire o aberturas de escape
de ninguna manera.
Utilice el calentador sobre superficies planas y secas solamente.
No coloque el calentador cerca de materiales, superficies o sustancias
inflamables, ya que puede provocar riesgo de incendio.
No utilice el calefactor en cualquier área donde se almacene gasolina,
pintura u otros líquidos inflamables, por ejemplo, los garajes o talleres.
No utilice la estufa en el entorno inmediato de un baño, una ducha o
una piscina. Nunca coloque el calentador en donde se pueda caer a la
bañera u otro recipiente con agua.
Este calentador está caliente cuando está en uso. Para evitar
quemaduras y daños personales, no deje que toque la superficie de su
piel.
Asegúrese de que no haya otros aparatos como su producto en uso en
el mismo circuito eléctrico, esto puede provocar una sobrecarga.
El aparato no se debe utilizar en una habitación en la que la superficie
construida sea de menos de 5m².
Este aparato puede ser utilizado por niños de 8 años o más y por
personas con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales reducidas, o
por falta de experiencia y conocimientos que hayan recibido supervisión

o instrucciones relativas al uso del aparato de una manera segura y
entender los peligros involucrados. Los niños no deben jugar con el
aparato. Limpieza y mantenimiento de usuario no deberá ser hecha por
niños sin la supervisión de mayores.
Los niños de menos de 3 años se deben mantener lejos del aparato a
menos que estén supervisados de forma continua. Niños de 3 años y
menos de 8 años sólo podrán encender/apagar el aparato, siempre que
haya sido colocado o instalado en su posición normal de
funcionamiento previsto y que sean supervisados o instruidos acerca del
uso del aparato de una manera segura y entender los riesgos
involucrados. Niños de 3 años y menos de 8 años no podrán conectar,
regular y limpiar el aparato o realizar el mantenimiento del usuario.
PRECAUCIÓN-Algunas partes de este producto pueden llegar a ser muy
calientes y causar quemaduras. Particular atención debe darse donde
los niños y las personas vulnerables están presentes.
No utilice este calentador con un programador, contador de tiempo,
sistema de control remoto o cualquier otro dispositivo que encienda el
calentador de forma automática, ya que existe un riesgo de incendio si
el calentador está cubierto o mal colocado.
Instrucciones de Uso
NOTA: Es normal que cuando los calefactores están encendidos por
primera vez o cuando se activan después de que no se utilizan durante un
largo período de tiempo, pueden emitir olores y humos. Esto desaparecerá
cuando el calentador haya estado encendido un corto periodo de tiempo.
Elija un lugar adecuado para el calentador, teniendo en cuenta las
instrucciones de seguridad anteriores.
Después de insertar el enchufe, gire el control a la posición deseada.

Hay 5 configuraciones:
OFF
OSCILLATION
FAN ONLY (función de ventilación fría)
NIVEL BAJO1
NIVEL ALTO 2
Este calentador está equipado con un termostato. Girando hacia la
derecha aumentará la temperatura deseada (el calentador se
enciende con mayor frecuencia). Girando hacia la izquierda hará que el
calentador se encienda con menos frecuencia.
Consejo: Cuando el termostato esté completamente hacia la izquierda, el
calentador sólo se encenderá cuando la temperatura ambiente de la
habitación sea de unos 5 grados centígrados. Esto a veces es útil como
medida de prevención de hielo en los invernaderos etc.
Función de Oscilación
Al pulsar el botón de oscilación, el calentador hará el barrido de ida y
vuelta para difundir el calor sobre un área más amplia.
Limpieza y Mantenimiento
Antes de limpiar, desenchufe el calentador y espere a que se enfríe por
completo.
El aparato sólo necesita una limpieza periódica externa.
No limpie con paños ni limpiadores abrasivos. No use solventes químicos.
Un paño suave humedecido con una solución de detergente suave es
ideal.

En ocasiones, el aire comprimido puede ser utilizado para limpiar el polvo
de la toma del ventilador o respiraderos del calentador. El calentador debe
estar frío y desconectado de la red eléctrica antes de hacer esto. Realice
esta operación sólo en un área bien ventilada.

Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, in order to reduce the risk of fire, electric
shock and/or injury to persons, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
The product is for household use only.
Connect the appliance to a single phase AC supply of the voltage
specified on the rating label.
In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
Never leave the heater unattended whilst it is in use. Always turn the
switch to the OFF position and unplug it from the electrical outlet when
not in use.
Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children,
invalids or an elderly person and whenever the heater is left operating
and unattended.
The heater must not be located immediately below an electrical socket
outlet.
Do not run the cable under carpet and do not cover it with rugs, runners
or the like. Arrange the cable away from the traffic area and where it will
not be tripped over.
Do not operate the heater with a damaged cable or plug, if the supply
cable is damaged, it cannot be replaced and the heater should be
destroyed.
The cable shouldn’t be placed near the hot surface of the appliance.
Avoid the use of an extension cable as this may overheat and cause a
risk of fire.

Use the heater in a well ventilated area. Do not insert or allow objects to
enter any ventilation or exhaust opening. To prevent a possible fire, do
not block air intakes or exhaust openings in any manner.
Use the heater on flat, dry surfaces only.
Do not place this heater near flammable materials, surfaces or
substances as there may be a risk of fire.
Do not use the heater in any areas where petrol, paint or other
flammable liquids are stored, e.g., garages or workshops.
Don’t use the heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower,
or a swimming pool. Never locate the heater where it may fall into the
bath tub or other water container.
This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns and personal injury, do not
let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
Be sure that no other appliances as your product are in use on the same
electrical circuit as an overload can occur.
The heater should not be used in a room of which the floor area is less
than 5 m².
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless they are
continuously supervised. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8
years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been
placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in,
regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
CAUTION – Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause
burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable
people are present.
Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer, separate remote control
system or any other device that switches the heater on automatically,
since a fire risk exists if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.
Instructions for Use
NOTE : It is normal when the heaters are turned on for the first time or when
they are turned on after having not being used for a long period of time that
they may emit some smell and fumes. This will disappear when the heater
has been on a short while.
Choose a suitable location for the heater taking into account the safety
instructions above.
After inserting the plug, turn the control to the desired setting.
There are 5 settings:
OFF
OSCILLATION
FAN ONLY (COOL BLOW FUNCTION)
LOW SETTING 1
HIGH SETTING 2
This heater is equipped with a thermostat. Turning clockwise will increase the
desired temperature (the heater will switch on more frequently). Turning
anti-clockwise will cause the heater to switch on less frequently.
Tip: When the thermostat is turned completely anti-clockwise, the heater will
only switch on when the ambient temperature in the room is about 5
degrees centigrade. This is sometimes handy as a frost prevention measure
in greenhouses etc.

Oscillation Function
Pressing the oscillation button will make the heater sweep back and forth to
spread the heat over a wider area.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Before cleaning, please unplug the heater first and wait for it to cool down
completely.
The appliance needs only external regular cleaning.
Do not clean with abrasive cloths or cleaners. Do not use chemical solvents.
A soft cloth moistened with a mild detergent solution is ideal.
On occasion, compressed air can be used to clear dust from the fan intake
or heater vents. THE HEATER MUST BE COLD AND DISCONNECTED FROM THE
MAINS SUPPLY BEFORE DOING THIS. ONLY PERFORM THIS OPERATION IN A
WELL VENTILATED AREA.
