ADVERTENCIAS DE SEGURIDAD
- Estas instrucciones son muy importantes, lea
atentamente este manual de instrucciones antes de utilizar
el aparato, y guárdelo para posteriores consultas.
- NEVIR no se responsabilizará de las posibles
consecuencias derivadas de un uso inadecuado del
producto, u otro uso que no estuviera descrito en este
manual.
- Antes de utilizar el producto por primera vez, desembale
el producto y compruebe que esta en perfecto estado. De
no ser así, no utilice el aparato y diríjase a NEVIR ya que la
garantía cubre cualquier daño de origen o defecto de
fabricación.
- Este producto solo está indicado para un uso doméstico.
No utilizar el aparato en la intemperie. No deje el aparato

bajo la exposición de agentes climáticos como la lluvia,
nieve, sol, etc., que puedan deteriorar su funcionamiento.
1. Los niños deben ser supervisados para asegurarse de
que no juegan con el aparato.
2. Los niños deben mantenerse alejados a menos que
estén supervisados continuamente.
3. Los niños y las personas sólo deben encender / apagar
el aparato siempre que estén bajo supervisión y entiendan
los peligros involucrados en el uso de este aparato.
4. Los niños no deben enchufar, regular y limpiar el
aparato ni realizar el mantenimiento del mismo.
5. Este aparato no debe ser usado por niños o personas
con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales reducidas
o falta de experiencia y conocimiento a menos que estén
bajo supervisión.
ADVERTENCIA: Este calentador no está equipado con un
dispositivo para controlar la temperatura de la habitación.
No use este calefactor en habitaciones pequeñas cuando
estén ocupadas por personas que no puedan salir de la
habitación por su cuenta, a menos que se proporcione
supervisión constante.
- Antes de conectar el aparato a la red eléctrica compruebe
que el cable y el enchufe están en perfecto estado,
además compruebe que la tensión indicada en el aparato
es válida para su instalación eléctrica.
- Si detecta que el cable de alimentación o el enchufe
están dañados, no utilice el aparato, ni intente sustituir el
cable. Vaya directamente al servicio técnico autorizado de
NEVIR donde se lo reemplazarán correctamente.

- No sumerja el aparato, ni ninguna parte del aparato en
agua u otro líquido.
-No tocar la clavija de conexión con las manos o pies
húmedos y con los pies descalzos.
- Nunca introduzca los dedos u otra parte en la rejilla
protectora ni en las ranuras de ventilación. No introduzca
ningún objeto que pudiera obstruir o averiar el aparato.
- Evite tocar el aparato cuando este está en
funcionamiento, podría provocar quemaduras.
- Para desenchufar el aparato de la red eléctrica no tire del
cable, tire siempre del enchufe.
- Desenrolle completamente el cable de alimentación para
evitar sobrecalentamiento.
- Si su aparato ha sufrido una caída o bien ha caído en
agua u otro líquido no utilice el aparato ni intente repararlo,
llévelo al servicio técnico de NEVIR.
- Para su seguridad y mejor funcionamiento del aparato
utilice siempre accesorios y repuestos de NEVIR.
- No utilizar el aparato en el baño o en la ducha, ni en
habitaciones de ambientes húmedos ni en proximidades
sobre líquidos por ejemplo: sobre una bañera o lavabo
llenos de agua, una ducha o piscina.
- No utilice el aparato como fuente de calor o fuente de
secado.
- No utilizar el aparato para secar ropa.

- Nunca deje el cable del aparato colgando ni en contacto
con partes calientes, ni lo utilice para transportar el
producto.
- Utilizar el aparato en una superficie horizontal y plana que
pueda soportar altas temperaturas.
ATENCIÓN: En superficies en las que el calor puede
resultar un problema, se recomienda utilizar una
almohadilla termo aislante.
- Deje suficiente espacio encima y a los lados del aparato
para una correcta circulación de aire.
- Controlar que las ranuras de ventilación y rejilla
protectora no estén obstruidas. No cubrir el aparato en
ningún caso, puede incendiarse.
- No permita que el aparato esté en contacto con cortinas,
papeles pintados, paños de cocina, u otros materiales
inflamables durante su uso.
-Desenchufe el aparato de la red eléctrica siempre que
haya finalizado su uso, antes de proceder a su limpieza y/o
si este no funciona correctamente.
- No coloque el aparato debajo de ningún enchufe.
- Este aparato tiene un sistema antivuelco, es decir, si su
aparato sufre una caída inesperada, el aparato se apagará
automáticamente.
- No conecte nunca el aparato a un temporizador,
programador u otro dispositivo que conecte el aparato

automáticamente, ya que existe el riesgo de incendio si el
aparato de calefacción está cubierto o colocado
incorrectamente.
MODO DE EMPLEO
- Durante el primer uso, este aparato desprende un olor “a
nuevo”, procure ventilar el ambiente para eliminar este
olor.
- Despliegue la base del aparato y sitúela en posición
perpendicular a éste (vea dibujo 1), asegúrese que la base
está bien apoyada en una superficie horizontal y plana, ya
que sino fuera así, el aparato no se encendería debido a su
sistema de seguridad antivuelco.
- Enchufe el aparato a la red eléctrica.
- Gire el selector de potencia en la posición deseada
dependiendo del calor que usted desee. En la posición 1,
solamente se encenderá el tubo de cuarzo superior y en la
posición 2, se encenderán los 2 tubos de cuarzo.
- El aparato no se apagará del todo hasta que se
desenchufe de la red eléctrica.
- Se aconseja que desenchufe el aparato de la red
eléctrica siempre que haya finalizado su uso.
LIMPIEZA Y ALMACENAJE
- Antes de proceder a su limpieza, asegúrese que el
aparato está desconectado de la red eléctrica.
- Dejar enfriar el aparato antes de proceder a su limpieza.

- Utilice un paño húmedo para limpiar el exterior del
aparato.
- Limpie periódicamente el polvo que se acumula en las
ranuras de ventilación y rejilla protectora con un aspirador.
- No utilice detergentes abrasivos ni productos que puedan
dañar el aparato.
-Pliegue la base del aparato tal y como se muestra en el
dibujo (vea figura 2) y guarde el aparato en un lugar seco
una vez éste se haya enfriado.

Según la directiva de Residuos de Aparatos
Eléctricos y Electrónicos (RAEE), los residuos AEE han de
recogerse y tratarse por separado. Si en un futuro necesita
desprenderse de este producto NO lo ponga en los residuos
domésticos, envíelo a los puntos de recogidas de residuos
existentes en su área. De igual manera debe extraer los residuos
de pilas y/o acumuladores antes de la entrega del RAEE a
través de los canales de recogida separada habilitados al
efecto (distribuidores y/o instalaciones de las Entidades
Locales)

our product and we are certain that you will always be
satisfied with any of our products.

SAFETY WARNINGS
- These instructions are very important. Please read this
instructions manual carefully before using the appliance
and keep it at hand to refer to it at any time.
- NEVIR declines any responsibility for the improper use of
the product, or any other use that is not described in this
manual.
-Before using the product for the first time, unpack the
product and check that it is in perfect conditions. If not, do
not use the appliance and contact NEVIR, as the guarantee
covers any damage from origin or manufacturing defects.
- This product is only indicated for domestic use. Do not
use the appliance outdoors. Never leave the appliance
exposed to climatic agents such as rain, snow, sun, etc.
1. Children should be supervised to make sure they do
not play with the device.
2. Children should stay away unless they are continuously
supervised.

3. Children and people should only turn on / off the
appliance as long as they are under supervision and
understand the hazards involved in the use of this
appliance.
4. Children should not plug, regulate and clean the
appliance or perform maintenance on it.
5. This appliance should not be used by children or
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities
or lack of experience and knowledge unless under
supervision.
WARNING: This heater is not equiped with a device to
control the room temperature. Do not use this heater in
small rooms when they are occupied by persons not
capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant
supervision is provided.
- Before connecting the appliance to the mains, check that
the cable and plug are in perfect conditions. Also check
that the voltage indicated on the appliance is valid for your
electrical installation.
- If you detect that the power supply cable or the plug are
dama ged, do not use the appliance or try to replace the
cable yourself. Go directly to the authorised NEVIR
technical service where they will replace it correctly for you.
- Do not immerse the appliance or any part of it in water or
any other liquid.
-Please do not touch the connecting plug with wet hands
or feet or with bare feet.
- Never put your fingers or anything else in the protecting
grid or in the ventilation slots. Do not insert any object that
might obstruct or break the appliance.

- Please avoid touching the appliance when it is working as
it could cause burns.
- Do not pull the cable to unplug the appliance from the
mains, always pull from the plug.
- Please unroll the power supply cable completely to avoid
over heating.
- If your appliance has been dropped or fallen into water or
any other liquid do not use it or try to repair it. Take it to the
NEVIR technical service.
- For your safety and for the appliance to work correctly,
always use NEVIR spare parts and accessories.
- Please do not use the appliance in the bath or shower or
in rooms with a humid atmosphere, nor in places near to
water, such as above a bathtub, or basins full of water, a
shower or a swimming pool.
- Please do not use the appliance as a source of heating or
for drying.
The appliance should not be used to dry clothes.
- Never leave the appliance cable hanging in the air nor in
contact with hot parts. Do no use the cable to carry the
product.
- The appliance should be used on a horizontal flat surface
that will resist high temperatures.

WARNING: On surfaces where heat may cause problems,
the use of a heat insulation pad is recommended.
- Leave sufficient space above and around the appliance
for the air to circulate correctly.
- Check that the ventilation slots and protection grid are not
blocked. Please do not cover the appliance under any
circumstances. It might catch fire.
- Do not let the appliance come into contact with curtains,
wallpaper, dishcloths or other inflammable materials when
it is in use.
-Please unplug the appliance from the mains electricity
power supply when not in use, before cleaning and/or if it
does not operate properly.
- Never place the appliance underneath a socket.
- This appliance has an anti-overturn system, this is to say
if your appliance does fall over the appliance will
automatically switch off.
- Never connect the appliance to a timer, a programmer or
any other device that connects the appliance automatically,
since there is a fire risk if the heating appliance is covered
or incorrectly located.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- When using the appliance for the first time it will give off a
“new” smell, consequently the room should be aired to
eliminate this smell.

- Unfold the base of the appliance and put it in a
perpendicular position (please see illustration 1). Please
ensure that the base is properly supported on a flat and
horizontal surface, since otherwise the appliance will not
switch on due to its anti-overturn system.
- Plug the appliance into the mains electricity supply.
- Turn the power selector to the required position,
depending upon the heat required. In position 1 only the
upper quartz tube will light up, and in position 2 the two
quartz tubes will light up.
- The appliance will not completely switch off until it is
unplugged from the mains electricity supply.
- Please unplug the appliance from the mains electricity
supply when not in use.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
- Please ensure that the appliance is unplugged from the
mains electricity power supply before cleaning.
- Please let the appliance cool down before clearing.
- Use a damp cloth to clean the outside of the appliance.
- The dust that accumulates in the ventilation slots and
protection grid should be removed from time to time with a
vacuum cleaner.
- Do not use abrasive detergents or products that may
damage the appliance.

-Fold the base as indicated in the illustration (figure2) and
store the appliance in a dry place once it has cooled down.

The European Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE) required that old household electrical appliances
must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste
stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to
optimize the recovery and recycling of the material they contain, and
reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The
crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product remind you of your
obligations that when you dispose of the appliance, it must be
separately collected.
Besides that, waste batteries and/or accumulator must be
removed prior to delivery of WEEE, thought the separated
collection channels provided for this purpose (distributors
and/or facilities from Local Authorities)
