Chapter 1 Getting Started
Introduction
The NVH300 reads a 1D or 2D barcode by capturing its image. Adopting the advanced technology independently
developed by Newland Auto-ID Tech, it provides several scan modes, including Manual mode,Pulse mode,Aim
mode,Continuous mode and Batch mode, tailored to different scanning needs.
An illustrated introduction to the NVH300 is included in this chapter. If you have a scanner at hand, make good use of it to
develop a better understanding of this manual. This chapter is written for normal users, maintenance staff and software
developers.
