NightSearcher NS750 LED LITE User manual

NightSearcher products have been carefully tested and inspected before
shipment and are guaranteed to be free from defective materials and
workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase, provided that
the enclosed instructions have been followed.
Should you experience problems with your NightSearcher product, please return
the item, complete with any chargers, to your place or purchase or contact

If upon inspection it is found that the fault occurring is due to defective materials
or workmanship, repairs will be carried out free of charge. This guarantee does
not apply to normal wear and tear, nor does it cover any damage caused by
misuse, careless / unsafe handling, alterations, accidents, or repairs attempted or
made by any personnel without prior approval from NightSearcher Ltd.
Batteries are consumable items and are not covered by this guarantee. Your
guarantee is not effective unless you can produce a dated receipt of purchase.
Please note that this guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
If at any time, you need to dispose of this product or parts of this product, please
note that waste electrical products, bulbs and batteries should not be disposed of
with ordinary household waste. Recycle where facilities exist. Check with your
local authority for recycling advice.Alternatively, NightSearcher is happy to take
receipt of this product at end-of-life and will recycle it on your behalf.

WARRANTY
Before using your NightSearcher product, please read this user manual, it contains important
safety information and operating instructions. Following this advice will help ensure that your
product operates to its maximum potential.

Detachable shoulder strap and mains charger
The Light Emitting Diodes (LED) can last 50,000hrs+ and seldom need to be replaced. If there
is any malfunction of LED, please contact Nightsearcher Limited or an authorised distributor.
BATTERY CHARGING
Turn the flashlight to the OFF; connect the charger to the charging socket of the
Searchlight.
The LED indicator (located on the charger) will turn RED.
When the battery is fully charged, the LED indicator will turn GREEN.
Disconnect the charger from the AC power supply and then disconnect the charger
from the Searchlight.
Recharge time is approximately 6h if completely discharged OR prorata if not.
Recharge for 12 hours before first use.
NOTE: This Searchlight is powered by Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery, Unlike Lead acid
batteries, Li-ion require low charge maintance and can be left fully discharged without
damaging the battery.
NOTE: The Jack plug connection the light to the power pack should be removed before
packaging/in transit/storage to prevent the lamp from accidentally switching ON.
Press the ON/OFF switch once: High intensity
Press the ON/OFF switch a second time: Low intensity
STROBE AND SOS
Press the ON/OFF switch a third time: Flashing
Press the ON/OFF switch a forth time: Strobe
WARNING: The Strobe mode of this lamp is rapid and intense, which can trigger seizures in
photosensitive epilepsy.
Use a small brush or blow dry air to clean any dust inside the reflector.
Use lens cleaner and cotton swab, to remove any fingerprints on the lens.
Do not use the Searchlight for diving; it is not suitable for the high pressure underwater
environment.
If water gets inside the Searchlight, remove the battery immediately and place in a
well ventilated area.
CHANGING THE BATTERY
Unscrew two black screws located on the top of the power pack case
Remove the foam block holding the battery in place and lift the battery out of the
lamp
Pull off the crimp connectors careful not to touch them together and push onto the
new battery, ensuring a correct terminal connection (i.e. RED to positive, BLACK to
Negative)
Refit in reverse order of the above.
Please read the instructions below before charging the flashlight:
BATTERY
Before using the lamp for the first time, or if you have not used it for a long time, you
need to fully charge the flashlight for 12hrs.
Do not expose the battery to excessive heat, to do so may cause an explosion.
Do not use metal objects to short circuit the positive and negative end of the battery.
Do not dispose of the battery in the domestic waste, please use the correct method of
disposal.
Do not solder directly on to the battery.
Do not let the battery become wet or immerse the battery in water.
If there is evidence of leakage from the battery do not touch the battery with bare
hands. If your skin or your clothes come into contact with any leaked substance from
the battery, clean with water immediately.
Should any leaked substance from the battery come into contact with your eyes, do
not rub your eyes, rinse with clean water immediately and seek medical assistance as
soon as possible.
Keep the battery away from the children.
The operating temperature range of the flashlight’s battery is listed below :
- Charging temperature range: 0°C-45°C / Discharging temperature range: -20°C-60°C
GENERAL
The instructions hereunder list the safety measures for operating your flashlight and
charger:
Do not use any chargers other than those provided. Failure to do so could cause fire,
electrical shock or personal injury
Never use a damaged charger or charger with damaged lead. Should the charger or
its lead become damaged, replace the charger immediately.
Do not shine the LED directly into people’s eyes, as it may damage their eyesight.
Always make sure the flashlight system is disconnected from any power sources and
turned off when performing any routine cleaning or maintenance.
