INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING!
DISCONNECT BATTERIES BEFORE SERVICING.
MOUNT BATTERY CHARGER TO MACHINE AND CONNECT TO HARNESS
1 See Figure 1. Remove P-Clamp (P) from the machine and save. This P-Clamp is currently holding the wiring harness out of the way and will be re-used.
2 Mount the Battery Charger (4) to the underside of the chassis as shown using Hardware Items (8 & 9), also re-using P-Clamp (P) at this time to secure the wiring
harness up and out of the way as shown in Figure 2.
3 Connect the large connector (A) with the BLK and RED wires from the Charger to the large connector (B) with the BLK and RED wires from the machine harness.
4 Connect the connector (C) with three wires from the Charger to connector (D) also with three wires (BRN, RED/VIO & YEL/ORN) from the machine harness.
NOTE: Connector (D) has a protective plug that must be removed first. Steps continued on Page 3.

MOUNT BATTERY CHARGER TO MACHINE AND CONNECT TO HARNESS continued
5 See Figure 3.Bundle the charger wires and secure them close to the charger using Cable Ties (5) as needed. NOTE: Secure the charger wiring close to the
charger and away from the Solution Drain Valve (E). The solution drain hose needs to be able to rotate down and the drain valve turned ON & OFF without any
interference from the charger wiring. The squeegee must be able to rotate without the squeegee or squeegee hose coming into contact with any of the charger
wiring or the plug to the platform during operation.

TEST BATTERY CHARGER OPERATION
1 Plug the power cord for the battery charger into the appropriate style electrical outlet.
2 After a few seconds of delay, the battery type and charging algorithm selected earlier will be displayed on the
Graphic Display (L) along with a battery icon that has no vertical bars inside of it (NOTE: In this mode, the
Graphic Display backlighting will be turned OFF).
3 After a few additional seconds, verify that one vertical bar appears inside the battery icon. This indicates that
the charging cycle has begun. As the charging cycle continues, the number of vertical bars will increase to
indicate progress.
4 When there are 5 vertical bars inside the battery icon, the charging process has completed. This may take
several hours depending upon the condition of the batteries before charging.
5 Disconnect the power cord from the outlet. After several seconds the Graphic Display will flash and then
return to the state it was in before the power cord was originally plugged in.
NOTE: The machine Key Switch may be on ON or OFF during the charging cycle. If left ON, all machine functions
will be disabled and the machine will not be allowed to move until the power cord is unplugged from the outlet.
