3. General information
Nilfisk FOOD congratulates you on
your new S105.
S105 is especially suited for foam
cleaning and disinfection using tap
water in smaller areas.
The unit is suited for use in rooms
with floor drains. The unit is VA/
ETA approved (VA3.14/14919).
It is important that your operational
staff read these directions for use
prior to installation, start up and
use of the equipment.

4. Overview and Use
The S105 must be placed in a frost free
room only.
To ease the operation leave as much free space
around the unit as possible.
5. Installation
For safety reasons it is important to
read all of the enclosed information be-
fore installation of this equipment. In ad-
dition, the legislation in force at the time
of purchase must always be considered
in connection with the installation and
mounting of this equipment, no matter
the contents of this manual.If there are
matters of dispute please contact your
dealer.
5.1. Directions for Mounting
It is recommended to mount the S105 in an appropri-
ate height, however, max. 130 cm above the floor on
a moisture repellent wall construction. The unit must
be placed so that the water inlet hose can reach the
connecting point.
Secure the S105 and the wall hose storage with the
enclosed screws and rawlplugs.
Hose holder and can holder should be
placed so that the can is under the level
of the unit.
5.2. Water Connection
A closing valve must be mounted
directly before the unit.
It must be expected that the foam quality and the rins-
ing effect wiill be reduced if the requirements to the
water wupply are not met.
Taps, mixing batteries etc. may have a limiting ef-
fect on the water quantity. If one of these are placed
before the unit and the water quantity is not sufficient,
it is recommended to replace it with a ball valve. The
replacement should be carried out by an authoried
plumber.
5.2.1. Supply of Detergent
• Do not use TOPAX 58
• During use of Topactive DES it is extremely important that the injector is
rinsed through with clean water after use.

to the unit
• Set the unit in rinsing
position
• Dismount the outlet hose
• Screw of the drain plug in
the top of the unit. Screw
it in the bottom.
• Fill in 0.5 dl descaling
fluid. Use the enclosed
measuring cup.
• Leave the descaling fluid
in the unit for min. 15 min.
• Move the drain plug
to the top of the unit.
Always remember to
wear gloves.
• Connect the outlet hose
and turn on the water.

6. Operation procedures
6.1. Before Operation
Before putting the S105 into operation please follow
the instructions below:
• Connect the unit to the water supply using the
enclosed inlet hose.
• Be wware the the filter is conncted between hose
and unit.
• Connect the outlet hose and the handle.
• The correct chemical limiting nozzle is selected
from the below table and connected to the hose
coupling nipple of the chemical non return valve.
• The chemical hose is led through the hole of the
unit and above the chemical limiting nozzle and
the hose coupling nipple of the chemical non
return valve.

7. Maintenance, Trouble shooting,
Service
The S105 must only be operated by authorised per-
sonnel and according to above instructions.
For further information please see instructions placed
on the inside of the S105 frontcover.
• In order to secure an unproblematic
use of the S105, the injector must be
thoroughly rinsed with clean water
after use.
Residues of detergents and disinfectants may clog
the injector so it needs to be rinsed or replaced.
In order to remove detergents and/or desinfectant
residues from the injector please follow the instruc-
tions below.
1. Turn the operation button into foam position
2. Remove the chemical hose from the detergent
can and place it in a can with clean water.
3. Activate the spray handle until clean water
comes out of the nozzle ( approx. 30 sec.)
We recommentd you to close the closing valve on the
water supply and shorthly activate the spray handle to
depressurize the system after use.
7.1. Maintenance
• After use always rinse the wire netting of the topjet
nozzle. the wire netting can be dismounted and
descaled when required.
• The filter placed between the inlet hose and the
unit must be rinsed and descaled at regular inter-
vals.
• The unit must be descaled according to below
instructions at regular intervals.
• When required the wall hose storeage can ca be
cleaned ina dishwasher.
7.2. Trouble Shooting and Remedy
In case of errors/troubles not mentioned above,
please contact your local service technician for fur-
ther assistance.

8. End of use
In places with a low water pressure or water quantity
of the water supply it is recommended to replace the
wire mesh in the foam nozzle with the one enclosed.
