STEP 1:
While standing
upright, release
buckles from litter. 1.1.
STEP 2:
Place litter on the ground
and completely extend
with the fabric side up.
NOTE:
When litter is
in the relaxed
position, the
hinges closest
to you (when
holding the
handles) will look
like Figure 1.

STEP 3:
Keeping the litter straight
as possible, grab handles
and rotate inward until all
hinges rotate & lock (see
Figure 2).
NOTE:
This action is best executed
simultaneously using 2 individuals
on each end of the litter.

STEP 4:
While maintaining hinges in the locked position,
apply firm, steady pressure on the spreader bar with
foot. Increase pressure with foot until spreader bar
locks into place.

NOTE: To close and store litter, repeat the directions in reverse order.
NOTE:
Apply pressure to
spreader bars in a
straight line parallel to
the bed and poles for
best results.
NOTE:
The button will pop out when the handle is
securely extended. Depress the button in
order to collapse the handles.
NOTE:
To aid in deployment extend handles to full
length before attempting to apply pressure
to spreader bars. Ensure extendable handles
are fully collapsed before collapsing spreader bars.
Collapsible Handle Option:
Stand upright and extend handles to full length.
