WARNING:
DO NOT
PUT FACE
DIRECTLY NEAR
PAINT 'N' SWIRL
®
MACHINE WHEN
SPINNING, AS
PAINT MAY
SPLATTER.
KEEP FACE AT
LEAST ONE
FOOT AWAY.
Once your paper is securely in place in your Paint 'N Swirl
®
Machine, and your paint is in place, turn the switch to the
right and watch the paper spin. Adjust the speed by turning the switch left and right. Squeeze paint and watch drops
fall and splatter onto spinning paper (with Splatter Guard and paint holder securely in place). Apply paint near both
center and edge. Use one color for a monotone effect, use 2 or 3 colors for a more colorful picture. Let the
machine spin long enough to get the full effect and the best results. You can rearrange the position of your
bottles while the card is spinning. After you finished applying paint, turn the machine off. Wait for your
Paint 'N Swirl
®
picture to dry.
Step 4
Paint Holder and
Splatter Guard
on top of
Paint 'N Swirl
®
Machine
.
Put your open bottles of paint, into the holes on the paint holder in the face down direction. You can
move the bottles around as many times as you want while your card is spinning. Squeeze paint as
desired.
Placing the Cards on the Spinner
Using the Paint Holder
Two different groove grips are provided on the Card Spinner so you can use the different sized cards
provided. Choose a card and set it (with the uncoated side up) in the appropriate grooves so that it is
locked securely in position. Before applying paint, turn the machine on to check that the card spins
properly and lies flat. Shake paint thoroughly before using and unscrew the cap
Step 3
Place Splatter Guard on top of Paint 'N Swirl
®
Machine before turning switch on. This will prevent
paint from splattering. The Splatter Guard should be positioned so it rests on top of the machine and
rises above it, not recesses into it. Position the paint holder on top of the splatter guard and apply light
pressure so it snaps into place.
