About Libris: Overview
1. Cellular Indicator shows cellular
signal strength
2. Battery Indicator, which surrounds the
Call Button, shows battery status
3. Call Button, when pushed, initiates a
two-way call to your response team
4. Speaker allows you to hear your
response team
5. Microphone allows the response
team to hear you
6. Clip Lock enables you to affix a
Lanyard/Clip or Belt Clip
7. Charging Pins connect Libris to the

Getting Started: Activate Libris

Insert the small end of the Power
Cord into the back of the Libris
Charger, and plug the large end
into a wall outlet.
Place Libris in the Charger.
Libris will automatically turn on
and begin activation. Follow the
voice prompts until directed to
connect to your response team.

Getting Started: Call to Set Up
Press and hold
the Call Button
with the device in
the Charger.

will answer, and will
walk you through
customizing Libris and
completing set up.

About Libris: Turning On & Off

1Press and hold the
Call Button until the
Battery Indicator
flashes
Listen for the audio
message: “Your personal
mobile responder is ready.”
Note: placing Libris into the
Charger will turn it on
automatically.
Turn On Turn Off
Press the Call Button
twice, holding the
second press until
prompted to press the
Call Button again to
confirm. Then press
and hold again until
you hear the audio
message: “Powering
off now. Good bye.”

About Libris: Placing a Call Manually &
Canceling a Call

Call Button once
Listen for the audio
message: “Calling your
response team now.
Please hold the device and
position the microphone
near your mouth to
complete your call.”
Place a Call Cancel a Call
Press and hold the
Call Button twice,
holding the second
press for 7 seconds.
You will hear this audio
message: “Ending
your call now.”
