Prima di accingersi ad azionare questa macchina, è importante
leggere, capire e seguire queste istruzioni con molta attenzione,
per garantire la sicurezza dell’operatore e dei circostanti, come
pure per garantire una lunga e sicura vita della macchina.
Imparare come usare l’ettroutensile, le sue limitazioni d’utilizzo
e i rischi potenziali che ne possono derivare.
Conservare queste istruzioni in un posto sicuro per la
consultazione futura.
Evitare le partenze involontarie -
Scollegare gli elettroutensili
Controllare sempre che le chiavette e le chiavi di regolazione
siano rimosse dall’elettroutensile prima di avviarlo.
Accertarsi che l’interruttore sia nella posizione di SPENTO
prima di collegare l’elettroutensile all’alimentazione di rete.
Accertarsi che gli elettroutensili siano scollegati dall’ali-
mentazione di rete quando non vengono utilizzati, prima
della manutenzione, lubrificazione o regolazione e quando si

Ispezionare le parti danneggiate
Prima di utilizzare ulteriormente l’elettroutensile, questo deve
essere controllato con attenzione per accertarsi che funzioni
correttamente e operi conformemente al suo uso specifico.
Controllare l’allineamento corretto delle parti in movimento,
accertarsi che non siano inceppate, controllare che non ci
siano componenti rotti e che l’elettroutensile sia montato
correttamente.
Verificare qualsiasi altra condizione che possa influire sul
funzionamento dell’elettroutensile.
Una protezione, o qualsiasi altra parte dell’elettroutensile che
sia danneggiata, deve essere riparata o sostituita da un centro
di manutenzione autorizzato, a meno di indicazione differente
contenuta in questo manuale d’istruzioni.
Qualsiasi interruttore che non funziona correttamente deve
essere sostituito da un centro di manutenzione autorizzato.
Non utilizzare l’elettroutensile se l’interruttore di ACCESO/
SPENTO non accende e spegne l’elettroutensile.
La polvere prodotta durante la lavorazione dei materiali è nociva
per la salute.
Si raccomanda di indossare una adatta mascherina anti-
polvere.
Durante l’esecuzione dei lavori utilizzare sempre i mezzi
protettivi personali: occhiali antinfortunistici, guanti, mascherina,
protezione auricolare, scarpe antinfortunistiche e antiscivolo.
Non indossare indumenti o gioielleria svolazzanti e raccogliere i
capelli lunghi in modo da evitare che possano restare impigliati
in organi in movimento.
Lavorare sempre su basi stabili.
Bloccare sempre saldamente con una morsa il pezzo da
lavorare.
Mantenere sempre pulita ed in ordine la zona di lavoro.
Manovrare l’elettroutensile usando sempre entrambe le mani.
Non aprire o modificare in alcun modo l’elettroutensile o i suoi
accessori.
Non esporre gli elettroutensili alla pioggia, o utilizzarli in
situazioni dove possano bagnarsi o inumidirsi.
Mantenere l’area di lavoro bene illuminata.
Non utilizzare gli elettroutensili nelle zone dove esista un pericolo
di esplosione o d’incendio dovuto a materiali combustibili, a
liquidi infiammabili, vernice, pittura, benzina, ecc. gas e polveri
infiammabili di natura esplosiva.
Fare attenzione ai bambini e agli animali domestici
I bambini e gli animali domestici devono essere tenuti fuori
dall’area di lavoro.
Tutti gli elettroutensili devono essere tenuti fuori dalla portata
dei bambini. Quando non sono in uso, è preferibile riporre gli
elettroutensili in un armadio o in una stanza asciutti e chiusi
a chiave.
Utilizzare l’utensile corretto
Scegliere l’utensile appropriato per il tipo di lavoro. Non utilizzare
un utensile per un lavoro per il quale non è stato progettato.
Non forzare un utensile piccolo a fare il lavoro di un utensile per
servizio pesante. Non utilizzare gli utensili per scopi a cui non
erano stati destinati.
Non forzare l’elettroutensile
L’elettroutensile farà un lavoro migliore, più sicuro e darà un
servizio migliore se verrà utilizzato alla velocità per cui è stato
progettato.
Eseguire sempre un’accurata manutenzione degli utensili
Mantenere affilati e puliti gli utensili da taglio onde ottenerne le
prestazioni migliori e più sicure.
Seguire le istruzioni di lubrificazione e sostituzione degli
accessori.
Mantenere le impugnature asciutte, pulite e prive di olio e
grasso.
Accertarsi che le fessure di ventilazione siano sempre mantenute
pulite e prive di polvere. Le fessure di ventilazione bloccate
possono causare il surriscaldamento e il danneggiamento del
motore.
Se questa macchina deve essere utilizzata quando si lavora ad
una certa altezza, deve essere utilizzato un ponteggio dotato di
ringhiera e battipiede o una piattaforma a torre, in modo tale da
garantire una adeguata stabilità.
PROTEGGERSI DALLE SCOSSE ELETTRICHE
Evitare il contatto del corpo con superfici messe a terra o
a massa (per esempio tubazioni, radiatori, lavastoviglie e
frigoriferi).
Cavi di alimentazione
Non strattonare o tirare il cavo di alimentazione per scollegarlo
dalla presa di alimentazione di rete.
Non trasportare mai l’elettroutensile afferrandone il cavo di
alimentazione. Tenere il cavo di alimentazione lontano da fonti
di calore, olio, solventi e spigoli vivi.
Ispezionare periodicamente il cavo di alimentazione dell’utensile
e, se danneggiato, farlo sostituire da un servizio di manutenzione
autorizzato.
Esaminare periodicamente i cavi di prolunga e sostituirli se
danneggiati.
NON utilizzare cavi o bobine di prolunga a due conduttori per
gli elettroutensili con un percorso di terra. Utilizzare sempre
un cavo o bobina di prolunga a tre conduttori con il filo di terra
collegato a terra.
Srotolare sempre completamente l’eventuale cavo di prolunga.
Per i cavi di prolunga fino a 15 metri utilizzare conduttori di
sezione trasversale di 1,5 mm2.
Per i cavi di prolunga più lunghi di 15 metri, ma meno di 40
metri, utilizzare conduttori di sezione trasversale di 2,5 mm2.
Proteggere il cavo di prolunga da oggetti affilati, calore eccessivo
e dall’esposizione all’umidità o all’acqua.
Questo elettroutensile soddisfa le normative nazionali e
internazionali e i requisiti di sicurezza. Le riparazioni devono
essere eseguite unicamente da personale qualificato,
utilizzando pezzi di ricambio originali. Se questo non viene
fatto ne può derivare un grave pericolo per l’utente.
ISTRUZIONI ANTINFORTUNISTICHE SPECIFICHE
Non forzare lo scalpello a penetrare troppo nel pezzo da
lavorare, in quanto potrebbero verificarsi difficoltà a rimuoverlo.
Per le operazioni su muratura o mattoni è molto meglio asportare
piccoli pezzi alla volta.
Non usare mai la punta da trapano o lo scalpello come una leva.
Questo danneggerà la macchina e la punta.
Non cercare di cambiare la selezione (percussione, scalpello
e normale) mentre il motore è in funzione. Questo distruggerà
l’ingranaggio interno.
Non usare questo utensile con alcun accessorio destinato per
miscelare malta, cemento o intonaco, o per qualunque altra
operazione di mescolamento.

Prima di usare il trapano, prendere dimestichezza con le istruzioni
d’uso e le norme antinfortunistiche.
AVVERTENZA!
Non usare il mandrino ausiliario a 3 griffe quando si usa
l’utensile come trapano a percussione o come scalpello. Questo
mandrino deve essere montato ed usato solo con comuni punte
da trapano, per praticare fori normali nel legno e nell’acciaio.
IMPORTANTE
Quando si usa l’utensile come scalpello o come trapano a
percussione per lunghi periodi, controllare di tanto in tanto che i
selettori siano nella posizione desiderata.
ISTRUZIONI PER IL FUNZIONAMENTO
IMPUGNATURA LATERALE (FOTO 2)
Il trapano è fornito con un’impugnatura laterale già montata. Per
modificarne la posizione, allentare l’impugnatura ruotandola in
senso antiorario. (Foto 2). Regolare la posizione dell’impugnatura
in modo da poter essere usata con la mano destra o con la
sinistra e raggiungere una posizione comoda per far funzionare il
trapano. Per stringere l’impugnatura ruotarla in senso orario sino
a quando non si muove più durante il funzionamento.
AVVIO E ARRESTO (FOTO 3)
Questo utensile è munito di un normale interruttore On/Off a
grilletto. Per avviare l’apparecchio premere il grilletto (Foto 3).
Per fermarlo, lasciare il grilletto.
MONTAGGIO DEL MANDRINO AUSILIARIO A 3
GRIFFE (FOTO 4)
Applicare un sottile velo del grasso fornito in dotazione (Foto 1) al
codolo SDS del mandrino ausiliario. (Fig. 4).
Appoggiare il trapano su un banco da lavoro. Afferrare la guaina
nera (Foto 4) attorno al mandrino SDS e tirarla all’indietro,
forzandola contro la tensione della molla, verso il corpo del
trapano. Inserire l’alberino del mandrino ausiliario nel mandrino
SDS. Spingere verso l’interno sino a quando si sente una
resistenza. Può essere necessario ruotare il mandrino ausiliario
sino a quando l’albero non scende completamente al suo posto e
s’innesta con il meccanismo di trasmissione.
Quando si pensa che il mandrino ausiliario sia posizionato
correttamente, lasciare andare la guaina nera che lo dovrebbe
bloccare in posizione. Il mandrino ausiliario è posizionato
correttamente se non può essere tolto senza sfilare la guaina
nera. Se quest’ultima non ritorna completamente nella posizione
originale, togliere il mandrino ausiliario e ripetere il procedimento
appena descritto.
MONTAGGIO DELLA PUNTA SDS E DELLE PUNTE DI
SCALPELLO
Per montare punte SDS e punte di scalpello sul mandrino SDS
seguire la procedura di Montaggio del mandrino ausiliario a 3
griffe. Non dimenticare di applicare un sottile velo di grasso ai
codoli di tutte queste punte.
SELETTORI (FOTO 5 - 9)
Le illustrazioni che seguono mostrano la giusta posizione del
selettore per le tre funzioni del trapano.
N.B. - Prima di usare il trapano, siete pregati di leggere queste
istruzioni, fornite perché il trapano possa funzionare in modo
sicuro.
Il trapano rotativo a percussione può essere utilizzato per svolgere
tre funzioni diverse.
1. Perforazione di legno e metalli (usando il mandrino ausiliario
a 3 griffe)

COME USARE IL MANDRINO AUSILIARIO A 3 GRIFFE
(FOTO 10 - 12)
Scegliere la punta più adatta per il lavoro che si vuole
intraprendere. Aprire le griffe del mandrino ruotando a mano
l’anello esterno (Foto 10) per consentire al codolo di sistemarsi
nel mandrino.
Stringere a mano l’anello esterno del mandrino sino a quando le
griffe afferrano il codolo della punta (fig. 11).
Infilare la chiave a turno in ognuno dei tre fori situati attorno al
corpo del mandrino e stringere gradualmente le griffe sul codolo
della punta (fig. 12). Non stringere eccessivamente.
COME USARE IL RACCOGLITORE DI DETRITI (FOTO 13)
Attenzione: indossare sempre occhiali di protezione quando si
praticano fori sopra l’altezza della testa.
Il raccoglitore di detriti è un pezzo stampato rotondo in gomma,
sagomato in modo da adattarsi sulla punta di un trapano per
raccogliere i detriti che si creano quando si praticano fori nei
soffitti, ecc.
Sistemare il raccoglitore di detriti sulla punta, appoggiare
quest’ultima sul pezzo in lavorazione, fare scivolare il
raccoglitore lungo la punta sino a quando anch’esso è in
contatto con il pezzo. Man mano che la punta penetra nel
pezzo, il raccoglitore si sposta con essa e raccoglie i detriti di
perforazione.
Svuotare sempre frequentemente il raccoglitore di detriti.
MANUTENZIONE
ATTENZIONE:
Prima di montare accessori, eseguire interventi di manutenzione
e regolazioni, scollegare il trapano dall’alimentazione di corrente.
LUBRIFICAZIONE DELLA SCATOLA INGRANAGGI
(FOTO 14)
Dopo 50 ore di utilizzo, si consiglia di controllare che nella scatola
ingranaggi vi sia ancora del grasso e, all’occorrenza, rabboccare
con il grasso fornito in dotazione. Con l’aiuto della chiave a pioli
fornita, infilare i pioli nelle intaccature del coperchio d’ispezione
della scatola ingranaggi che si trova sopra di essa (fig. 14).
Allentare il coperchio in senso antiorario e sollevarlo del tutto.
Applicare un quantità di grasso appena sufficiente a lubrificare
gli ingranaggi; non riempire di grasso l’intera scatola. Quando
si è finito il grasso fornito in dotazione, se ne può usare un
tipo alternativo ad alto punto di fusione. Rimontare il coperchio
d’ispezione e stringere in senso orario.
Non stringere eccessivamente.

SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
If this machine is to be used when working at height a suitable,
stable platform or scaffold tower with hand rails and kick boards
should be used.
Keep drills, chisels and other cutters sharp and in good condition.
This will improve cutting, reduce load and give a longer working
life to the machine and accessories.
Do not attempt to modify the machine in any way.
Do not use extreme force on the machine.
Use approved safety glasses or goggles, face mask and Ear
defenders. A safety helmet should also be worn especially when

Do not force the chisel in to the work piece to far or you may
have trouble removing it. It is far better to nibble away smaller
pieces of masonry, concrete or brick.
Never use any drill or chisel as a lever. This will damage the
machine and the bit.
Do not try to change the selection (hammer, chisel and normal)
while the motor is running. Doing so will destroy the internal
gearing.
Do not use this product with any attachment designed for mixing
Mortar, Concrete, or plaster. Or for any other type of mixing
operation.

Familiarize yourself with the safety and operating instructions
before using the drill
WARNING!
Do Not use the auxiliary 3 jaw chuck when using the product in
Hammer Drill or Chisel mode. The auxiliary 3 jaw chuck should
only be fitted and used with standard drill bits, for normal drilling
in wood and steel.
IMPORTANT
When using the product in chisel or hammer drill mode for long
period’s periodically check the switches for the correct selection.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
SIDE HANDLE (PIC.2)
This drill is supplied with a side handle fitted, to adjust the position
of the side handle slacken the handle by rotating it in an anti-
clockwise direction (Pic.2). Adjust the position of the handle to suit
either left or right hand operation and to achieve a comfortable
position for operating the Drill. To tighten the handle turn in a
clockwise direction until it is sufficiently tight to stop it moving in use.
SWITCHING ON AND OFF (PIC.3)
This machine is fitted with a normal On/Off trigger switch To start
the machine squeeze the ON / OFF trigger switch (Pic3). To stop
the machine release the ON / OFF trigger switch.
FITTING THE AUXILIARY 3 JAW CHUCK (PIC.4)
Do Not use the auxiliary 3 jaw chuck when using the product in
Hammer Drill or Chisel mode. The auxiliary 3 jaw chuck should
only be fitted and used with standard drill bits, for normal drilling
in wood and steel. Using the grease provided (Pic.1) apply a thin
coating of grease to the splined drive system (SDS) shank fitted
to the auxiliary 3 Jaw chuck. (fig 4).
Support the drill on a work bench. Grip the black shroud (Pic.4)
around the SDS chuck and pull it back against the spring tension
towards the body of the drill. Insert the auxiliary chuck spindle
into the SDS chuck. Push inwards until resistance is felt. It may
be necessary to rotate the auxiliary chuck until the shaft drops
completely into place and engages with the drive mechanism.
When you are satisfied that the auxiliary chuck is correctly located
release the black shroud this should lock the auxiliary chuck into
position. The auxiliary chuck is correctly located if it cannot be
removed without retracting the black shroud. If the black shroud
does not return fully remove the auxiliary chuck and repeat the
above procedure.
FITTING SDS DRILL AND CHISEL BITS
To fit SDS drill and chisel bits to the SDS chuck follow the
procedure for Fitting the auxiliary 3 Jaw chuck. Do not forget to
apply a thin coating of grease to the drill and chisel bit shanks.
SELECTOR SWITCHES (PICS.5 TO 9)
The following illustrations show the correct selector switch
positions for the three drill functions.
NOTE: Please read these instructions before using the drill, they
are provided for the safe operation of the drill.
The Rotary Hammer Drill can be used for three different
functions.
1. Drilling wood and metal (using the auxiliary 3 Jaw chuck)
2. Hammer action (for drilling masonry, brick, concrete and
block work)
3. Chiseling action (for light to medium chiseling)
Pics.5&6 show the relative location of the selector switches. For
claritythreelinedrawings(Pics.7to9)areincluded.
WARNING!
Do not attempt to change the position of the selector switches
when motor is running. Doing this will cause serious damage to
the drill and possible injury to the operator.
DRILLING WOOD METAL AND PLASTIC (PIC.7)
When the drill is being used with the auxiliary 3 Jaw chuck for
drilling wood, metal and plastic the selector switches must be set
to the positions shown in (Pic7).
WARNING!
When using the following functions it is advisable to periodically
check the position of both selector switches.
DRILLING MASONRY, BRICK, CONCRETE AND
BLOCK WORK (PIC.8)
When the drill is to be used for drilling masonry, brick, concrete
and block work the selector switches must be set to the positions
shown in (Pic.8).
CHISELING MASONRY, BRICK, CONCRETE AND
BLOCK WORK (PIC.9)
When the drill is to be used for breaking up masonry, brick,
concrete and block work the selector switches must be set to the
positionsshownin(Pic.9).

USING THE AUXILIARY 3 JAW CHUCK (PICS.10 TO 12)
Do Not use the auxiliary 3 jaw chuck when using the product in
Hammer Drill or Chisel mode. The auxiliary 3 jaw chuck should
only be fitted and used with standard drill bits, for normal drilling
in wood and steel.
Do Not use SDS drill or chisel bits when using the auxiliary 3 jaw
chuck, use only drill bits designed for drilling wood or steel.
Select the correct drill required for the job. Open the jaws of the
chuck by rotating the outer ring of the chuck (Pic.10) by hand to
allow the drill shank to locate into the chuck.
Tighten the chuck outer ring by hand until the chuck jaws grip the
drill shank (fig 11).
Locate the chuck key into each of the three holes in turn located
around the chuck body and gradually tighten the chuck jaws onto
the shank of the drill bit (fig 12). Do not over tighten.
USING THE DEBRIS COLLECTOR (PIC.13)
Caution: always wear safety goggles especially when drilling
above head height .
The debris collector is a round rubber molding shaped to be fitted
onto a drill bit to contain drilling debris when drilling ceilings etc.
Place the debris collector over the drill bit, position the drill bit onto
the work piece, slide the debris collector along the drill bit until it
is in contact with the work piece. As the drill drives into the work
piece the debris collector will move down the drill bit and collect
the drilling debris. Always empty the debris collector frequently.
MAINTENANCE
CAUTION:
Make sure that the drill is isolated from the mains power supply
before fitting accessories, maintenance and adjustment.
LUBRICATING THE GEARBOX (PIC.14)
It is recommended that after 50 hours of use the gearbox should
be checked for grease and topped up if required using the grease
supplied. Using the «Pin» spanner supplied. Locate the pins into
the indentations in the gearbox inspection cover plate located on
the top of the drill gearbox housing (fig 14).
Looseninananti-clockwisedirection.
Lift away the inspection cover. Only use sufficient grease to
coat the gears do not pack the gearbox full of grease. When the
grease supplied has been used an alternative high melting point
greasecanbeused.Re-fittheinspectioncoverandtightenina
clockwise direction.
Do not over tighten.

Contrôler les éléments endommagés
Avant de réutiliser l'outil électrique, celui-ci doit être
soigneusement contrôlé pour vérifier qu'il fonctionne
correctement et conformément à l'utilisation prévue.
Vérifier l'alignement correct des éléments mobiles et s'assurer
qu'ils ne sont pas coincés; vérifier l'absence de composants
cassés ainsi que le montage correct de l'outil électrique.
Vérifier toute autre condition susceptible d'affecter le
fonctionnement de l'outil électrique.
Toute protection ou autre partie de l'outil électrique endommagée
doitêtreréparéeouremplacéeparuncentreaprès-venteagréé,
sauf indication différentes contenue dans le présent manuel.
Tout interrupteur ne fonctionnant pas correctement doit être
remplacéparuncentreaprès-venteagréé.
Ne pas utiliser l'outil électrique si l'interrupteur SOUS TENSION/
HORS TENSION n'active/désactive pas l'outil électrique.
La poussière produite lors de l'usinage des matériaux nuit à la
santé.
Il est recommandé de porter un masque de protection anti-
poussière.
Lors de l'exécution des travaux, toujours utiliser des dispositifs
de protection individuels: lunettes de protection, gants, masque,
protections auditives et chaussures de sécurité antidérapantes.
Ne pas porter de vêtements amples ou de bijoux; attacher les
cheveux longs, pour éviter qu'ils ne restent coincés dans des
organes mobiles.
Toujours travailler sur des bases stables.
Toujours bloquer solidement la pièces à usiner entre les
mâchoires d'un étau.
Veiller à ce que la zone de travail soit toujours propre et
parfaitement en ordre.
Toujours saisir l’outil électrique des deux mains.
Ne pas ouvrir ou modifier en aucune manière l’outil électrique
ou ses accessoires.
Ne pas exposer les outils électriques à la pluie; ne pas les
utiliser dans des conditions les exposant à l'eau ou à l'humidité.
La zone de travail doit être parfaitement éclairée.
Ne pas utiliser les outils électriques dans des zones présentant
des risques d'explosion ou d'incendie dus à la présence
de matériaux combustibles, de liquides inflammables, de
peintures, d'essence, de gaz ou de poussières inflammables
de nature explosive.
Veiller aux enfants et aux animaux domestiques
Les enfants et les animaux domestiques doivent être éloignés
de la zone de travail.
Tous les outils électriques doivent être maintenus loin de
la portée des enfants. Lorsqu'ils ne sont pas utilisés, il est
préférable de ranger les outils électriques dans un placard ou
un local secs, fermant à clé.
Utiliser l'outil correct
Choisir l’outil approprié pour chaque type de travail. Ne pas
utiliser un outil pour exécuter une opération autre que celle
pour laquelle il a été prévu. Ne pas forcer un outil de petites
dimensions, en l'utilisant à la place d'un outil plus puissant. Ne
pas utiliser les outils pour des applications différentes de celles
pour lesquelles ils sont été conçus.
Ne pas force l'outil électrique
Si utilisé à la vitesse pour laquelle il a été conçu, tout outil
électrique assurera un fonctionnement plus efficace et plus sûr.
Toujours soumettre les outils à une maintenance soignée
Maintenir les outils tranchants affûtés et propres, afin d'assurer
les meilleures performances et une sécurité maximale.
Respecter les instructions de graissage et de remplacement
des accessoires. Les poignées doivent être sèches, propres et
exemptes d'huile ou de graisse.
S'assurer que les fentes de ventilation sont toujours propres et
exemptes de poussière. L'obstruction des fentes de ventilation
peut provoquer la surchauffe et l'endommagement du moteur.
Si cet appareil doit être utilisé pour exécuter des travaux en
hauteur, il est nécessaire de prévoir un échafaudage pourvu
d'un garde-fou et d'un rebord ou encore une plate-forme
aérienne, de manière à garantir une parfaite stabilité.
PROTECTION CONTRE LES RISQUES
D'ELECTROCUTION
Eviter tout contact du corps avec des surfaces mises à la terre
ou à la masse (par exemple, canalisations, radiateurs, lave-
vaisselle et réfrigérateurs).
Cables d'alimentation
Ne pas secouer ou tirer le câble d'alimentation pour le
débrancher de la prise de courant.
Ne jamais déplacer l'outil électrique en le tirant par son câble
d'alimentation. Eloigner le câble d'alimentation des sources de
chaleur, de l'huile, des solvants et des angles vifs.
Vérifier périodiquement le câble d'alimentation de l'outil; si
endommagé,lefaireremplacerparuncentreaprès-venteagréé.
Examiner périodiquement les câbles de rallonge et, si
endommagés, procéder à leur remplacement.
NE PAS utiliser de câbles ou de bobines de rallonge à deux
conducteurs avec les outils électriques comportant un parcours
de mise à la terre. Toujours utiliser un câble ou une bobine de
rallonge à trois conducteurs, avec le fil de terre relié à la terre.
Toujours dérouler complètement l'éventuel câble de rallonge.
Pour les câbles de rallonge mesurant jusqu'à 15 mètres, utiliser
des conducteurs ayant une section transversale de 1,5mm2.
Pour les câbles de rallonge mesurant entre 15 et 40 mètres, utiliser
des conducteurs ayant une section transversale de 2,5mm2.
Protéger le câble prolongateur contre tout contact avec des
objets tranchants ainsi que contre l'exposition à une chaleur
excessive, à l'humidité ou à l'eau.
Cet outil électrique est conforme aux normes nationales
et internationales en matière de sécurité. Les réparations
doivent être exclusivement exécutées par un personnel
qualifié, en utilisant des pièces détachées d'origine.
L'utilisateur peut courir de graves dangers en cas de non-
respect de ces prescriptions.
CONSEILS SÉCURITÉ SPÉCIFIQUES
Ne forcez pas le burin trop loin dans la pièce de travail pour ne
pas avoir de problème à le retirer. Il est conseillé de grignoter
les petits morceaux de maçonnerie, de béton ou de brique.
N’utilisez jamais de foret ou de burin comme levier. Ceci risque
d’endommager la machine et l’embout.
N’essayez pas de changer la sélection (marteau, burin et
normal) alors que le moteur est en marche, afin de ne pas
détruire le mécanisme intérieur.
Ne pas utiliser ce produit avec un malaxeur pour mortier, béton
ou platre. Ou autre type de mixage.

ATTENTION!
N’utilisez pas le mandrin auxiliaire à 3 mors lorsque vous utilisez
la machine en mode marteau ou en mode burineur. Ne vous
servez du mandrin à 3 mors que pour le mode de perçage normal
dans le bois et l’acier avec les forets standard.
IMPORTANT
Lorsque vous vous servez de la machine en mode marteau ou
burineur pendant de longues périodes, vérifiez périodiquement
que les sélecteurs sont toujours sur la bonne position.
INSTRUCTIONS DE FONCTIONNEMENT
POIGNÉE LATÉRALE (FIG.2)
Ce perforateur est équipé d’une poignée latérale. Pour ajuster
saposition,desserrez-laenlatournantdanslesensinversedes
aiguilles d’une montre. (Fig.2). Adaptez la position de la poignée
à une marche main droite ou une marche main gauche et de
façon à pouvoir utiliser la machine confortablement. Resserrez
la poignée dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à ce
qu’elle soit assez ferme pour ne pas bouger pendant la marche.
MISE EN MARCHE ET ARRÊT (FIG.3)
Cette machine est équipée d’un commutateur normal de marche/
arrêt. Pour la faire démarrer appuyez sur l’interrupteur marche/
arrêt(Fig.3).Pourl’arrêter,relâchez-le.
POUR MONTER LE MANDRIN AUXILIAIRE À 3 MORS
Appliquez une mince couche de la graisse fournie (Fig.1) sur la
tige du système SDS du mandrin auxiliaire à 3 mors. (Fig.4).
Supportez la perceuse sur un établi. Refermez le protecteur noir
(Fig.4)autourdumandrinSDSetramenez-lecontrelatension
de ressort vers le corps de la perceuse. Introduisez la tige du
mandrin auxiliaire dans le mandrin SDS. Poussez vers l’intérieur
jusqu’àcevoussentiezlarésistance.Ilserapeut-êtrenécessaire
de faire tourner le mandrin auxiliaire jusqu’à ce que la tige tombe
en place et s’engage avec le mécanisme d’entraînement.
Lorsque vous êtes certain que le mandrin auxiliaire est bien à sa
place, relâchez le protecteur noir. Le mandrin auxiliaire devrait
être enclenché. Il est bien à sa place s’il est impossible à enlever
sans tirer sur le protecteur noir. Si le protecteur noir ne revient pas
complètement, enlevez le mandrin auxiliaire et recommencez.
POUR INSTALLER LES FORETS SDS ET LES BURINS
Suivez la procédure du mandrin auxiliaire à 3 mors pour installer
les forets SDS et les burins. N’oubliez pas d’appliquer une mince
couche de graisse sur les tiges.
SÉLECTEURS (FIG.5-9)
Les illustrations suivantes montrent les positions correctes de
sélecteur pour les trois fonctions du perforateur.
NOTE: Lisez ces instructions avant d’utiliser le perforateur, elles
sont importantes pour votre sécurité pendant que vous l’utilisez.
Le perforateur rotatif a trois différentes fonctions:
1. la fonction de perçage, pour percer le bois et le métal (avec
le mandrin auxiliaire à 3 mors)
2. la fonction marteau (pour la maçonnerie, les briques, le béton
et les parpaings)
3. la fonction burineur (travail léger et moyen).
Les Fig.5-6 illustrent la position relative des sélecteurs. Trois
dessinsautrait(Fig.7-9)rendentlesinstructionsplusclaires.
ATTENTION!
Ne changez pas la position des sélecteurs pendant que le moteur
fonctionne. Vous causeriez des dégâts graves à la perceuse et
pourriez vous blesser.
EN MODE PERÇAGE DE BOIS, DE MÉTAL ET DE
PLASTIQUE (FIG.7)
Lorsque vous utilisez le perforateur avec le mandrin auxiliaire à
3 mors pour percer du bois, du métal ou du plastique, réglez les
sélecteurs sur les positions indiquées à la (Fig.7).
ATTENTION!
Lorsque vous utilisez les fonctions suivantes, nous vous
recommandons de vérifier périodiquement la position des deux
sélecteurs.
EN MODE PERÇAGE DE MAÇONNERIE, DE
BRIQUES, DE BÉTON ET DE PARPAINGS (FIG.8)

POUR UTILISER LE MANDRIN AUXILIAIRE À 3 MORS
(FIG.10-12)
N’utilisez pas le mandrin auxiliaire à 3 mors lorsque vous utilisez
la machine en mode marteau ou burineur. Ne vous servez du
mandrin à 3 mors que pour le perçage normal du bois et de l’acier
avec les forets standard.
N’utilisez pas de forets SDS ou de burins lorsque vous vous
servez du mandrin auxiliaire à 3 mors. N’utilisez que les forets
prévus pour le perçage du bois ou de l’acier.
Sélectionnez le foret requis par la tâche. Ouvrez les mors du
mandrin en tournant la bague extérieure du mandrin (Fig.10) à
la main pour permettre à la tige du foret de s’engager dans le
mandrin.
Serrez la bague extérieure du mandrin à la main jusqu’à ce que
les mors agrippent la tige du foret (Fig.11).
Placez la clé du mandrin dans les trois trous situés autour du
corps du mandrin, tour à tour, et serrez graduellement les mors
sur la tige du foret (Fig.12). Ne serrez pas trop fort.
POUR UTILISER LE COLLECTEUR DE DÉBRIS (FIG. 13)
Attention: Portez toujours des lunettes de sécurité, tout
particulièrementlorsquevoustravaillezau-dessusduniveau
de votre tête.
Le collecteur de débris est une pièce ronde en caoutchouc
prévue pour être montée sur un foret et pour récupérer les débris
lorsque vous percer des plafonds, etc. Placez le collecteur de
débrispar-dessusleforet,placezleforetsurlapièceàtravailler,
faites glisser le collecteur de débris le long du foret jusqu’à ce
qu’il entre en contact avec la pièce à travailler. Au fur et à mesure
que le foret s’enfonce dans la pièce à travailler, le collecteur de
débris descendra le long du foret et recueillera les débris. Videz
le collecteur fréquemment.
ENTRETIEN
ATTENTION:
Vérifiez que le perforateur est débranché avant de commencer
tout travail d’entretien ou d’ajustement et avant de monter les
accessoires.
LUBRIFICATION DE BOÎTE D’ENGRENAGE (FIG. 14)
Nous recommandons de vérifier le niveau de graisse de la
boîte d’engrenage après 50 heures de marche et d’en ajouter
si nécessaire avec la graisse fournie. Avec la clé à griffes
fournie, repérez les griffes dans les renfoncements du couvercle
d’inspection du logement de la boîte d’engrenage situé sur le
dessus de l’appareil (Fig.14).
Desserrez-lesdanslesensinversedesaiguillesd’unemontre.
Soulevez le couvercle d’inspection. N’utilisez que juste assez
de graisse pour enduire les engrenages sans les bourrer. Vous
pouvez utiliser une graisse à haut point de fusion alternative
une fois que vous aurez terminé la graisse fournie. Remettez
le couvercle d’inspection en place et serrez dans le sens des
aiguilles d’une montre.
Ne serrez pas trop fort.
