Backlight Keypad
Allows up to 99 entry codes

CONECTIONS Gate Operator
1. Always disconnect power before making any connections or servicing
the keypad.
Remove Red Wire +

IMPORANTANT NOTICE
If using the keypad with a mechanically operated gate or door, mount at
least 10 feet away from gate. To prevent users from being crushed or
pinned. Failure to do so may result in injury or death.
Use 18AWG wire for all of the connections. Failure to do so may damage the keypad.
All wiring should be done by a professional installer to risk of improper installation
Always disconnect power before making any connections or servicing the keypad.
The keypad must be properly grounded.
Reset Unit: There is a small jumper on the back side of the PC board
1.Power Down
2. Place Jumper in the restore position
3. Power Up
4. Replace Jumper in the original position at sound of tone
All settings are back to factory defaults.

Entry codes are set to a user code 01-19 that activates the momentary relay, the example above is for user number
one. The next entry code would be 1234 1234 *02 next entry code then # The next would be 1234 1234 *03 next

4. Activating Hold Open
When the Hold Open code is entered the relay latches on until the Hold Open code is re-entered.
To program a entry code of 2525 enter the following
If your entered 2525 as your code and wanted to delete 2525 you would enter (1234 1234 *50 01 wait for tone then #)
The next entry code to be deleted (1234 1234 *50 02 wait for tone then # ) The next would be (1234 1234 *50 03
wait for tone then # )
To Delete all Entry Codes You would enter (1234 1234 *50 00 wait for tone #)

If you would like to use more than 4 digits for your entry codes. Enter new master code with, lets say 6 digits you would

Set up user codes 21-39 *6 *6 plus 2 digit user code and 4 digit entry code

Relay Strike Time *20 01 for one second up to 99 for 99 seconds
Hold Open Code *40 *40 plus 4 digit code
Lock Out *51 After five incorrect attempts keypad will be disabled for
30 seconds
Hold Open for Others *54 *54 plus 4 digit code
This option is good for a gardener, contractor, ect that would need to hold the gate open, what is unique
about this code is you can turn it off if going away and turn it back on when your back (see below)
To activate or deactivate *54 *52 *52 1 activates *52 0 deactivates
The following functions are performed after entering Programming Mode.
EGS Controls. guarantees the original purchaser of EGS Controls products a twelve month warranty from the date of original pur-
chase against manufacturer defects in materials, workmanship and finish under normal use excluding damage resulting from acts of
God, product misuse, improper installation, product modifications or product neglect. This twelve month warranty applies only to new
products and is limited to the repair or replacement of EGS products. Warranty does not include electrical components or light bulb
replacement, costs of removal, installation, labor, freight, inconvenience or consequential damages. Original purchaser must return
defective merchandise, along with the purchase receipt, to the original place of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage
resulting from accident, misuse, neglect, improper installation, fire, vandalism or any form of abuse.
The Limited Warranty described below is provided by EGS Controls ("EGS") to the original purchasers or an authorized EGS dealer.
Under this Limited Warranty, EGS will, through its authorized dealers, repair or replace, at its option, any EGS-manufactured part
which is found to be defective in material or workmanship during the applicable warranty period. Warranty service must be per-
formed by a dealer or service partner authorized by EGS to service the product involved, which will use only new or remanufactured
parts or components furnished by EGS
