Start/stop timing
1. To start stopwatch, press the START/STOP/SELECT button.
2. To stop stopwatch, press the START/STOP/SELECT button again.
NOTE: For time in/time out timing, continue to press the START/STOP/SELECT button each time you
want to restart timing.
3. To clear stopwatch, press the SPLIT/RESET/SET button.
Split timing
1. To start stopwatch, press the START/STOP button.
2. To pause stopwatch, press the SPLIT/RESET button. Record the split time shown on display.
NOTE: The paused time will hold on the display, but the stopwatch is still timing.
3. To view count up again, press the SPLIT/RESET button again.
4. Continue to press the SPLIT/RESET button each time you want to acquire more split times.
5. To stop stopwatch, press the START/STOP button.
6. To clear stopwatch, press the SPLIT/RESET button twice.
Fast finish (1-2) timing
1. To start stopwatch, press the START/STOP button.
2. To hold stop #1, press the SPLIT/RESET button.
NOTE: The paused time for stop #1 will hold on the display, but the stopwatch is still timing.
3. To hold stop #2, press the START/STOP button.
4. Record the time for stop #1 (currently on display).
5. To display stop #2, press SPLIT/RESET. Record the time for stop #2.
6. To clear stopwatch, press SPLIT/RESET a second time.

This OAKTON®timer is warrantied to be free from
significant deviations in material and workman-
ship for a period of one year from date of pur-
chase. If repair or adjustment is necessary and
has not been the result of abuse or misuse within
the one year period, please return—freight pre-
paid—and correction will be made without charge.
We alone will determine if the product problem is
due to deviations or customer misuse. Out of war-
ranty products will be repaired on a charge basis.

please include data regarding the reason the
items are to be returned.

Time/Calendar Functions
How to enter time/calendar mode
1. Press the MODE button until the display scrolls to the time/calendar mode (upper display shows one
nonflashing dash above the current date).
2. To see the date, press the START/STOP/SELECT button.
3. To see the alarm set time, press the SPLIT/RESET/SET button.
NOTE: Unless the alarm indicator is on (upper right corner of the display), the alarm will not sound.
How to set time and calendar
1. Press the MODE button for two seconds, then click the MODE button once (upper display flashes one
dash above TUE).
2. Press the START/STOP/SELECT button to scroll between clock parameters. The display scrolls
through seconds, minutes, hours, month, day, day of week, then back to seconds.
3. When you have selected the parameter you want to change, press the SPLIT/RESET/SET button to
adjust the clock or calendar.
NOTE: When you are changing the seconds parameter, you can only zero the seconds (you cannot
select a specific number value for seconds).
4. Repeat step 3 until you have selected the correct time and date.
5. When you have selected the correct time and date, press MODE to go to the time/calendar display.
Main Function Button Descriptions
This stopwatch features three main function buttons:
• MODE selection button • SPLIT/RESET/SET button • START/STOP/SET button
The MODE button lets you access four modes. If you click the MODE button quickly, you will toggle
between two modes:
1. Time/calendar mode Lets you view time, date and alarm set time
you see: Upper display shows nonflashing dash above current day
2. Stopwatch mode Lets you perform all stopwatch functions
you see: Upper display shows all 7 dashes. Dashes will flash differently
according to the timing function you utilize
If you press and hold the MODE button for two seconds, you will access the alarm set mode:
3. Alarm set mode Lets you set or deactivate alarm
you see: Upper display flashes one dash above “MON”
If you press and hold the MODE button for two seconds, then press and click the MODE button once,
you will access the time/calendar set mode:
4. Time/calendar set mode Lets you set time, date and day of week
you see: Upper display flashes one dash above “TUE”
The SPLIT/RESET/SET button lets you:
1. In time/calendar mode: view the alarm set time
2. In stopwatch mode: time split laps and reset stopwatch
3. In alarm set mode: change the alarm set time
4. In time/calendar set mode: change the time, date, and day of week
The START/STOP/SELECT button lets you:
1. In time/calendar mode: view the current date
2. In stopwatch mode: start and stop the stopwatch
3. In alarm set mode: scroll through alarm set parameters
4. In time/calendar set mode: scroll through time/date/day of week parameters
Alarm Functions
You can set alarm to sound for one minute at a specific time, and/or for a brief time once every hour.
If the alarm set for a specific time is turned on, you will see the alarm indicator in the upper right cor-
ner of the display.
If the alarm set to chime every hour is turned on, you will see the chime indicator appear in the upper
right corner of the display.
NOTE: You can set both types of alarms, only one type of alarm, or neither type of alarm to sound at the
same time. If both types are set, both indicators will appear. If neither type is set, no indicators
will appear.
How to set alarm to sound at a specific time
1. Press and hold the MODE button for two seconds (upper display flashes one dash above “MON”).
2. Press the START/STOP/SELECT button to select hours or minutes.
3. When you have selected the parameter you want to change, press the SPLIT/RESET/SET button to
adjust the clock.
4. When you have selected the correct alarm time, push the MODE button to return to the time/calendar
mode. The alarm indicator should now be on.
5. When the timer reaches the alarm set time, the alarm will sound for one minute. To stop the alarm from
sounding before the minute has elapsed, press either the SPLIT/RESET/SET button or the
START/STOP/SELECT button.
How to switch off alarm set for a specific time
1. Click the MODE button until you are in time/calendar mode (upper display shows 1 nonflashing dash
above the current date).
2. Press the SPLIT/RESET button to see the alarm set time.
3. While holding the SPLIT/RESET button, press the START/STOP button repeatedly until the
indicator disappears.
4. The alarm set for a specific time will now be switched off.
NOTE: To switch alarm back on, press and hold the SPLIT/RESET button and press the START/STOP
button repeatedly until the indicator appears.
How to turn on and turn off hourly alarm
1. Click the MODE button until you are in time/calendar mode (upper display shows 1 nonflashing dash
above the current date).
2. Press the SPLIT/RESET button.
3. While holding the SPLIT/RESET button, press the START/STOP button repeatedly until the
indicator appears.
4. The alarm set for an hourly time will now be switched on.
NOTE: To switch hourly alarm off, press and hold the SPLIT/RESET button and press the
START/STOP button repeatedly until the indicator disappears.
Stopwatch Functions
How to enter stopwatch mode
1. Press the MODE button until display scrolls to the stopwatch mode (upper display shows all
seven dashes).
2. If the stopwatch is not at 0:00:00, press the SPLIT/RESET/SET button to clear stopwatch.
