> Wait for 20 minutes after your last drink before testing yourself. Any measurement
taken before will yield a level of alcohol inferior to the real level.
For greater certainty, renew the test 30 minutes after the first test.
> Never blow into the device immediately after consuming alcohol. The residual alcohol
in your mouth could damage the device.
> The mouthpieces are single use and must be changed at each measurement.
> Blow into the device for the duration of the audible beep. Take a deep breath before
blowing.
> When there is a difference in temperature from one place to another, wait for a few
minutes before using the device.
> Use alkaline batteries to obtain the best results.
> The use of the cigarette lighter adapter will cut off the battery supply.
> The device can only be used with one of these two energy sources. There is no battery
recharge function.
> When the device is powered up the counter displays the total number of tests already
made.
> Never stock the device in a place containing corrosive gases.
> Never stock the device in direct sunlight.
> Do not drop or submit the device to any violent impact.
> Do not use in an explosive environment.
> Remove the batteries from the device if it is not to be used for a long period. When
