Adjust the seat depth while not

The reclining
tension control
dial does not
turn.
Is the backrest locked so that the dial
does not turn?
Use the reclining control lever to
release the lock so that the backrest
moves by leaning against it.

The backrest
does not
recline.
Is the reclining control lever locked? Lift the lever to release the lock, and
then lean against the backrest. 9
Is the reclining tension control dial set
to the strongest (4) position?
Turn the reclining tension control dial
counterclockwise to set the dial at
the 1 or 2 position.

Is the backrest
fixed to a
position other
than at the
default position
(upright) and
is the reclining
tension control
dial fixed in an
intermediate
position, such
as between 1
and 2?
When the
reclining tension
control dial turns
Turn the reclining tension control
dial to set it to the 1 position. Hold
and release the reclining control
lever, and strongly lean against the
backrest. Repeat this a few times.
When the backrest returns to the
default position, confirm that the
reclining tension control dial is set to
the 1 position correctly.

reclining tension
control dial does
not turn
Hold and release the reclining control
lever, and strongly lean against the
backrest. Repeat this a few times.

Lift up the arm to the highest position
to lower the arm to the lowest
position. Then lift up the arm for

move smoothly.
Are you using soft casters on a rug or
carpet? Use hard casters. ∗
Are they tangled with lint or wool? Remove lint or wool or replace the
casters. ∗
Casters are
slippery.
Are you using hard casters on hard
floors such as ceramic tiles? Use soft casters. ∗
Chair makes
noise. -Visit a retail shop or the nearest
