XPand Reach – Double Bench-Spine Glass

To Assemble Spline Glass to Double Bench, (2) Glass Channel Brackets (XP-G-SB), (1) Glass Extrusion and (4) XP-Screws are used.

Step 1: Align the holes of the Glass Channel Bracket (XP-G-SB) with
the holes on Work Surface Support Arm (as shown in Figure A) and
assemble it from the bottom using (2) XP-Screws per Bracket.
Step 2: Place the Glass Extrusion (XP-G-XX) on the Channel Bracket
(XP-G-SB) and assemble it to the Glass Bracket using (2) XP-Screws
per Bracket.

Note: If a shorter Glass Extrusion (XP-G-E-XX) is used assemble XP-
WSSA-XX to Stretcher bar (XP-SB-XX) using (2) Self Tap screws.

Step 3: Slide in the Glass into the Extrusion and cover the Glass extrusion
ends using End Caps.
Step 4: Place the Work Surfaces on the support
brackets with the edges in flush to the Glass
Extrusion. Leave ½” overhang on each side
and secure the Work Surface to the XP-WSSA-XX
using (4) glides & (8) Work Surface Screws (XP-
SCREWS-WS) per arm.
Note: Due to variation in the glass extrusion channel opening, OPS is
providing Filament Tape with the Glass. Refer “Installation Alert: Glass
Extrusion Assembly” Instructions to apply Filament tape. If the order
has less than 5 XPand glasses, the glass are shipped with the Filament
tape on it.
Note: If you want the Work Surface to slide using the
glides, don’t screw the Work Surface to the XP-WSSB.
Step 5: Snap on the Leg Rail Covers (XP-LRC-
XX) to the Leg Rails.
