--- WARRANTY ---
All our Patio Heaters come with a 2-year full manufacturer’s ‘collect and return’
warranty (from the date of purchase). Proof of purchase will be required to qualify
for the warranty. The warranty can’t be transferred to a second owner.
As part of our warranty agreement we take liability for collecting faulty items, as
well as liability for any replacements and repairs. We’ll also be liable for the cost of
returning the items to you. Please note that we’re not liable for any costs that are
incurred by third party companies, including: builders or electricians.
If the product has been tampered with or modied it will void the warranty.

SAFETY FIRST
WARNING - When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed. Failure to comply with these instructions may cause a re, electrical shock or other
injury to persons or property.
1. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
2. Children between 3 and 8 years old should only be allowed to switch the appliance on/o, provided that it has
been correctly installed in its intended operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the hazards involved. They should not plug in,
regulate, perform maintenance or clean the appliance.
3. DO NOT position the heater on soft surfaces or where openings may become blocked. Ensure the base is tted
and fully assembled, and the unit is upright on a at stable surface before operating. This heater is designed for
use on patios and in beer gardens & smoking areas. The unit has been IP55 Weatherproof approved; however,
to prolong the life of the heater it is strongly recommended that the heater is stored in a dry place during heavy
rain and when not in use cover the appliance with the cover provided.
4. DO NOT hide the power cord in long grass or leave close to an operating lawnmower. Arrange the cord away
from areas where it may be tripped over.
5. DO NOT insert or allow objects to touch the heating element and never place anything on the heater safety
guard (e.g. towels), as this may damage the heater and could cause an electrical shock or re. Never use your
heater to dry washing. If the heating element has stopped glowing it may still be live, please check that the heat
setting indicates the heater is o.
6. Always disconnect your appliance from the mains before any cleaning.
7. DO NOT use the heater in areas where petrol, paint, or other ammable substances are stored. Do not use this
heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
8. Always unplug the heater when not in use. To disconnect from the power supply, grip the plug and pull from
the power socket. Never pull by the cord.
9. DO NOT direct the heater towards curtains, furniture or other ammable objects and ensure that they are at
least 0.8 metre from the front and 0.5 metre from the top and sides.
10. Extreme care should be taken when the heater is used near children and pets.
11. Do not use the heater with a programmer, timer or any other device that switches the heater on automatically,
since a re risk exists if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.
12. In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater. The electrical cord must be fully unwound before use.
Heater should not be positioned directly under a socket outlet.
13. The front grille is intended to prevent direct access to the heating elements and must be in place when the
heater is on.
14. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if, they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children
should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance should not be attempted by children without
supervision.
15. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
16. CAUTION — Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be
given where children and vulnerable people are present.
17. WARNING: This heater is not equipped with a device to control the room temperature. Do not use this heater in
small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant
supervision is provided.
Mounting instructions
Make sure your Blade is mounted at least 180cm high from the oor and 3cm below the ceiling.
The unit requires 80cm clear space to the left and right.
Use the Sleeve Anchors (3 x J) to nail the Mount
Bracket (H) on the wall vertically.
Recommended height: 180 - 350cm
To mount your heater at that height from the oor,
height of the Mount Bracket (H)’s upper edge on the
wall should be approx. 204-374cm.

Insert the provided Axle Screw & Nuts (I) to connect
the Heater (A) with the Mount Bracket (see picture).

Loosen the Axle Screw (see right picture)
to suit the Heater’s projection angle to the
required area, then fasten it.
Ensure the safe distances instructed in the
picture are adhered to.

INTRODUCTION INSTALLATION
Features
WARNING
When you want to ll a larger area with warmth – the Blade is a great choice, oering
performance and features well suited to both commercial and home use.
With a 2800W infrared carbon bre heating element enabling coverage up to 22m2, the Blade
oers superb warming in both indoor and outdoor spaces, from large patios to workshops. The
heater is ultra low-maintenance and the carbon bre element has a lifetime of over 8000 hours.
The Blade comes with both wall-mount and ceiling-mount brackets for exible, quick and
simple installation wherever you need it. The high waterproof IP55 rating also means it’s built
to operate and withstand the British weather. The aluminium shell will not rust, and surface
temperature does not exceed 90-degrees, making it friendly for installation on all kinds of
construction materials.
Enhancing it’s money-saving capability, the eco-mode feature enables the heater to
automatically shut down its heating function when not in use. The integrated sensor constantly
monitors people’s movements up to a distance of 4-metres, and if it does not detect movement
in 4 minutes, it will switch the heater o.

INSTALLATION CONT.
Please follow the below instructions to operate your heater safely.
To avoid tampering - this heater can only be controlled via its Remote Control unit. Remote
Control will work up to 4m from the heater (line of sight).

OPERATION
Hanging instructions
Nail the ceiling anchors (G) to your ceiling.
Ensure cover, screw ring and chains are in place
before hooking the chains to the hanging holes
of the heater.

Try the following procedures to ensure it is
in fact the tube that is faulty.
1) Push the remote HEAT button again just
to check the tube doesn’t heat up.
2) If still not heating – check if the RED
HEAT light on the Indicating Panel is on?
If the light is ON then the tube has blown.
Replace the Tube.
If not then wait 30 minutes for unit to
auto-reset and switch on after. Repeat if
necessary. If this continues to occur please
call customer service.
Blown Carbon Fibre
Tubes
Blown tubes are usually visible. Check for
black or white discolouration at either end
of the tubes. If visible, call customer service.

PIR Economy Function
The PIR economy function enables the heater to automatically shut down its heating elements
when not in use. The PIR sensor constantly monitors people’s movements up to a distance of
4 metres. If does not detect any movement within 4 minutes, it will switch the heating o to be
safe and economic.
To re-activate the heating elements the remote control must be used.

Cleaning & maintenance
Before cleaning or changing heating tubes, turn the heater o, unplug from the power
supply and wait for the unit to cool down.
• To clean the heater use a soft cloth to wipe o any dust. If the heater is very dirty, use a
damp cloth and wipe dry. Do not use any cleaning detergents, sprays or other chemicals,
as they will damage the unit.
• When the heater is not in use for a long period, clean and place in a cover and store in a
dry place.
• If the Aluminium reector is very dirty use a damp cloth and wipe dry. Do not use any
cleaning detergents, sprays or other chemicals, as they will damage the unit. A dirty
reector reduces heater output.
The product is IP55 weatherproof certied. It is designed to withstand tough rain
conditions. We recommend that you should cover the product when not in use for long
periods of time with a storage cover - please contact customer service for details.
