Optimus Enterprise, Inc. warrants to its customers and or consumer of this electric heater and the parts thereof
will be free from defect in material and workmanship, under normal use, for a period of three (3) years from the
date of initial purchase. The warranty does not apply to repairs necessitated by damage, misuse, abuse or
alternation and to any repair of merchandise not used within the United States or Canada. Unless otherwise
proscribed by law, Optimus Enterprise, Inc. shall not be liable for any personal injury, property damage or any
incidental or consequential damages of any kind (include water damage) resulting from malfunctions, defects,
misuse, improper installation or alternation of this product. This warranty is the only warranty extended by
Optimus Enterprise, Inc. to its original customers and!or consumer purchased ofthis heater. Optimus
Enterprise, Inc. disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, that arise by the operation of law, specifically
including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Optimus Enterprise, Inc.
shall not be liable fOr any incidental or consequential damage, which may have resulted from any alleged breach
of warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long Implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation
of incidental or consequential damage, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty
gives you specific legal rights you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Should the heater fail during the warranty period, the owner should:
• Within the first 30 days from date of purchase, the store from which you purchased your Optimus product
should replace this product if it is defective in material or workmanship (provided the store has in-stock
replacement).
• Within the first 12 months from date of purchase, Optimus Enterprise, Inc. will repair or replace the product if
it is defective in material or workmanship providing it is returned to Optimus Enterprise, Inc. with freight
prepaid, with evidence of purchase date (cash registered receipt) together with $18.00 check or money
order for handling and return packaging! shipping charges.
• In year 2 through 3 from date of purchase, Optimus Enterprise, Inc. will repair or replace the product with a
refurbished heater if it is defective in material or workmanship providing it is returned to Optimus Enterprise,
Inc. with freight prepaid, with evidence of purchase date (cash register receipt) together with US$25.00
check or money order for handling and return packaging! shipping charges.
IMPORTANT: ANY REPAIRS SHOULD BE PERFORMED BY AN AUTHORIZED SERVICE
REPRESENTATIVE. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR THIS HEATER YOURSELF. DOING SO MAY
VOID YOUR WARRANTY.
PLEASE RETAIN THIS WARRANTY AND SALES RECEIPT TO INSURE YOUR PRODUCT
WARRANTY.

Your warranty depends on your following these instructions if you are returning the unit more than 30 days after
the date of purchase:
• Carefully pack the heater in the original container or a suitable container to avoid damage in shipping.
• Seal the carton. Address an envelope as follows:

• Inside the envelope, enclose your name, full address with zip code, daytime phone number, evidence of
purchase date (cash register receipt) ANDA CHECK OR MONEY ORDER for handling and return
packaging! shipping charges. Please also include a brief explanation ofthe problem you are having with the
unit.
• Optimus Enterprise, Inc. recommends you insure the package (as damage in shipments is not covered by
your warranty).
• All shipping charges must be prepaid by you (as noted as above).

Thank you for choosing an Optimus heater. To ensure the best perfonnance from your heater, please
read and save the following instructions.
WHEN USING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES, BASIC PRECUATIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE
FOLLOWED TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK AND INJURY TO PERSON,
INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:
• Read all instructions before using this heater.
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use grip
handle when provided.
• Keep combustible materials such as drapes, furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, dothes, and curtains
at least three (3) feet (0.9m) from the front of heater and keep them at least 1 foot (0.3m) the sides
and rear of the heater.
• Extreme caution is necessary when heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the
heater is left operating and unattended.
• Always unplug heater when not in use.
• Do not use any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions or has been
dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to manufacturer for examination, electrical or
mechanical adjustment, or repair. (See Warranty for information).
• Do not use outdoors.
• This heater is not to be used in bathrooms, laundry areas or other similar indoor locations. Never
locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners or the like. Arrange cord
away from traffic area where it will not be tripped over.
• To disconnect heater, turn control to OFF then remove plug from outlet.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause
electric shock or fire or damage the heater.
• To prevent possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft
surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint or
flammable liquids are used or stored.
• Use this heater only as directed in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer
may cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
• Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may overheat and cause risk of fire.
However, if you must use an extension cord, the cord shall be No. 14AWG minimum size and rated
not less than 1875 watts. Never use a single extension cord to operate more than one Heater.
• If the heater will not operate: See specific instructions in Safety Feature explained in this manual.
CLEANINGI MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS:
During Season Care:
• Before cleaning, be sure to turn off and unplug the heater.
• Carefully wipe the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Please be very cautious near the motor a•••n.•••df---
heating elements.
• Do not immerse the heater in water.
• Never use gasoline, benzene or thinner. This will damage the surface of the heater.
• After cleaning, be sure to completely dry the unit with a cloth or towel.
After Season Care:
• Store heater in a cool and dry location with power cord properly secured.
• Please store the unit in its original carton or suitable container.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
Pre-Operating Instructions:
• Carefully remove your heater from the box (please save the carton for off-season storage).
• Make sure the unit is in the OFF position before plugging the heater into the outlet.
• Place heater on a firm level surface.
Operating Instructions:
• Put the Remote Control Hand Unit Cradle on either side of the U-shapped supporter by sliding
it down from the top.
• Plug the power cord into a wall outlet (110-120V AC,60Hz)
• When the uniti is turned on the power indicator light will illuminate to tell you that the heater is
functioning.
• Push the HEAT/OFF button to choose the desirde heat setting.
800 Watt setting provides minimum level heating and
1200 Watt setting probides maximum level heating.
• Push the OSC button to make the unit oscillate. Push it again to turn off the oscillation. The
oscillation will only functionn when the unit is on.
• Push the TIMER button to make the unit turn off after 1 hr, 2 hrs or 4 hurs of running. The timer
will only function when the unit is on.
Remote Control Instructions:
• Two AAA batteries are quired to put in before it can function.
• Remote Control Hand Unit key has the same function as manual control pad except the HEAT/ OFF
button has been separated by HEAT and ON/OFF buttons.
• Push ON/OFF button first before operating.
• Then adjust the desired heat level and Oscillating and TllTler options.
SAFETY FEATURES:
Automatic Tip-Over Safety Switch:
The Tip-over safety switch is located at bottom ofthe base. The tip-over safety switch allows the
unit to operate only when the heater is placed on a level surface. If the heater is tipped or tilted
while in operation, it will automatically shut off.
Overheat Alert Ught:
This heater indudes a visual RED alarm light to warn that parts of the heater are getting excessive hot. If
the alann light flashes, immediately turn the heater off and inspect for any objects on or adjacent to the
heater that may cause high temperatures. DO NOT OPERATE THE HEATER WITH THE ALARM LIGHT
IN ON.
SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS:
• Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit. Doing
so will void the warranty.
• If you have any questions regarding this unit's operation or believe any repair is necessary,
please call 1-888-672-5832 to speak with a Customer Service Representative.
• If you need to exchange the unit, please return it, in its original carton with a sales receipt
enclosed, to the store you purchased it. If you are returning the unit more than 30 days after
the date of purchase, please see the en dosed warranty.
