1. INTRODUCCIÓN 2. VERSIONES DEL SISTEMA X35 COMPATIBLES
CON EL DONGLE ANT+ LEV Y IWOC TRIO+
A partir de la gama 2020, todas las bicicletas eléctricas
Orbea equipadas con el sistema X35 de MAHLE Ebikemo-
tion® disponen de conectividad ANT+ LEV de serie, lo que
permite la visualización de los datos del sistema en ciclo-
computadores compatibles como el OC ANT+ LEV display
y otras unidades en el mercado.
No todas las versiones del sistema X35 de MAHLE Ebi-
kemotion® pueden ser actualizadas para obtener conec-
tividad ANT+ mediante el uso del Dongle ANT+ LEV o el
Iwoc Trio+.
Para averiguar qué tipo de conectores utiliza el sistema
X35 en tu bicicleta Orbea, retira la tapa de plástico de la
zona inferior del pedalier y localiza el cable que conecta la
batería con el puerto de carga. Si el conector entre estos
dos cables es de tipo redondo Cusmade C1206, el siste-
ma es compatible con la instalación del Dongle ANT+ LEV
o Iwoc Trio+. Si el conector es del tipo cuadrado Hirose
DF63, la bicicleta no puede ser dotada de conectividad
— Batería X35 con conectividad ANT+ LEV.
— Iwoc Trio+ — Dongle ANT+ LEV
— Conectores Hirose DF63 y Cusmade C1206.
Bicicletas Orbea equipadas con el sistema X35 de gamas
anteriores a 2020 pueden ser actualizadas mediante la
instalación del Dongle ANT+ LEV o el remoto Iwoc Trio+
para ser dotadas de conectividad ANT+ LEV que permita
la transmisión de datos a ciclocomputadores compatibles.
Consulta con Orbea o con tu distribuidor para saber a que
gama pertenece tu bicicleta Orbea.
Sólo versiones del sistema que utilicen conectores redon-
dos Cusmade C1206 pueden ser actualizadas mediante
la instalación de estos dispositivos. Versiones del sistema
X35 que utilicen conectores cuadrados Hirose DF63 no
son compatibles con el Dongle ANT+ LEV o el Iwoc Trio+.
ANT+ LEV sin reemplazar completamente el sistema eléc-
trico (batería, punto de carga, sensor PASS y remotos).

COMPATIBLES
CONECTIVIDAD ANT+ LEV (LIGHT ELECTRIC VEHICLES)
Una vez determinado que el sistema X35 en tu bicicleta eléctrica Orbea anterior a la gama
2020 es compatible con la instalación del dongle ANT+ LEV o el remoto Iwoc Trio+, la
conguración del sistema en cada modelo de bicicleta Orbea determinará qué dispositivo
debes utilizar para dotar al sistema X35 de tu bicicleta de conectividad ANT+ LEV:
- Dongle ANT+ LEV: Para bicicletas eléctricas Orbea que no usen el remoto
de manillar Iwoc Trio.
Bicicletas compatibles: Orbea Gain M y Gain D con manillar de
carretera con versiones del sistema X35 compatibles con l
a instalación del dongle ANT+ LEV.
- Maneta remoto Iwoc Trio+: Para bicicletas eléctricas Orbea que utilicen
el remoto de manillar Iwoc Trio.
Bicicletas compatibles: Orbea Gain F (Urban), Optima E
y EMX24 con versiones del sistema X35 compatibles con
la instalación de la maneta Iwoc Trio+.
La instalación del Dongle ANT+ LEV o la maneta Iwoc Trio+
dota al sistema con el protocolo de conectividad ANT+
LEV. El ciclocomputador que se quiera conectar al sistema
X35 para la visualización de datos debe ser compatible
con este protocolo de transmisión. No todas las unidades
ANT+ en el mercado son compatibles con dicho protocolo.
El ciclocomputador OC ANT+ LEV es completamente com-
patible con este protocolo, y permite la visualización los
siguientes datos del sistema X35:
- Velocidad actual.
- Nivel de carga de la batería interna X35.
- Odometría total del sistema.
- Nivel de asistencia actual.
- Visualización de errores del sistema.
La unidad OC ANT+ LEV también permite cambiar el modo
de asistencia del sistema desde el propio display.

ANT+ LEV en el manual de usuario especíco de nuestra
web.
AVISO: Los datos visibles y las funciones del sistema X35
en otros ciclocomputadores compatibles con el protocolo
ANT+ LEV dependerán de las características de dicha uni-
dad. Consulta con el fabricante del dispositivo compatible.

VISUALIZACIÓN DE ERRORES
DEL SISTEMA X35
Mediante la conexión ANT+ LEV, el sistema X35 de MAHLE
Ebikemotion es capaz de transmitir a los ciclocomputado-
res compatibles si el sistema ha entrado en error, así como
cuándo el sistema se ha recuperado de un error, para su
visualización en el display.
- Errores en el sistema X35: Cuando el sistema ha entra-
do en error, éste se visualizará en el display con el código
genérico E255. Todos los códigos de error (independien-
temente del código de error especíco del sistema) serán
mostrados con el código E255 en el ciclocomputador.
Para conocer el código de error especíco del sistema
y poder realizar el diagnóstico y reparación, conecta el
sistema X35 a la aplicación para móviles de usuario y/o
distribuidores de MAHLE Ebikemotion®.
- Recuperación de errores: Cuando el sistema se ha
recuperado de un error, se visualizará en los displays
compatibles el código E000 en el momento de encender
la bicicleta y emparejarla con el display. El código E000
desaparecerá a los pocos segundos. El sistema no tiene
errores.
— Filtra dispositivos ANT+ LEV en el directorio.

CÓMO INSTALAR EL DONGLE ANT+ LEV
a. Con una llave Allen de 2mm, retira el tornillo de
jación del Iwoc One del tubo superior.
b. Tira con cuidado del Iwoc One y saca el cable y el
conector del tubo superior. Desconecta el Iwoc One
del cable de la batería.

c. Conecta el cable de la batería y el Iwoc One al cable
bifurcado “Y” del dongle ANT+.
d. Introduce el dongle ANT+ y todos los cables y conec-
tores dentro del tubo superior hacia la zona del sillín
del tubo superior.
e. Vuelve a jar con una llave de 2mm el Iwoc One al
tubo superior (1Nm)
f. Enciende la bicicleta y comprueba que todos los
componentes funcionan correctamente.

g. Enciende el display OC ANT+ LEV o tu dispositivo
ANT+ y comprueba que la bicicleta se conecta
correctamente. Puedes acceder a las instrucciones
de uso del display OC ANT+ LEV en el manual espe-
cíco disponible en nuestra web.
*En caso de ruidos durante la utilización de la bicicleta,
envuelve el dongle en la funda de espuma suministrada.

CÓMO INSTALAR LA MANETA REMOTO IWOC TRIO+
1. RETIRAR EL IWOC TRIO
a. Desmonte el puño izquierdo del manillar de la bici-
cleta.
b Aoje el tornillo de jación del Iwoc Trio y deslícelo del
manillar.
c. Retire el tope de goma del tubo diagonal y tire con
cuidado del cable del Iwoc Trio hasta ver el conector
metálico. Desconecte el conector del Iwoc Trio.
2. INSTALAR EL IWOC TRIO+
d. Desconecte el Iwoc Trio del cable bifurcado “Y”.
e. Conecte el conector metálico del Iwoc Trio e introduzca
el exceso de cable dentro del tubo diagonal. Vuelva a
instalar el tope de goma en el tubo diagonal.
f. Instale el remoto Iwoc Trio en el manillar y fíjelo en
posición con el tornillo de jación (1.8Nm).
g. Instale el puño en el manillar y fíjelo en posición.
h. Encienda el sistema y compruebe que todos los com-
ponentes funcionan correctamente.
En caso de que el nuevo Iwoc Trio no funcione correcta-
mente, podría ser necesario reemplazar el cable bifurca-
do “Y”. En este caso podría ser necesario desmontar la
batería para acceder al cable bifurcado. Este trabajo debe
ser realizado por un distribuidor autorizado Orbea.

1. OVERVIEW
From Model Year 2020, all Orbea ebikes equipped with a
MAHLE Ebikemotion® X35 system do have ANT+ connec-
tivity from the factory, which allows for the visualization
of the X35 system data on compatible head units, such
as the OC ANT+ LEV display, amongst other units in the
market.
— X35 battery with ANT+ LEV connectivity.
— ANT+ dongle and Iwoc Trio+ remote
Orbea ebikes equipped with the X35 systems from pre-
vious ranges can be updated to have ANT+ LEV connec-
tivity by means of installing either the MAHLE Ebikemo-
tion® ANT+ LEV dongle or the Iwoc Trio+ remote, and
thus allowing the visualization of the system data on com-
patible displays.
Contact Orbea or your distributor to learn what range your
Orbea ebike belongs to.
2. X35 SYSTEM COMPATIBLE VERSIONS WITH
THE ANT+ LEV DONGLE AND IWOC TRIO+
Not all versions of the MAHLE Ebikemotion® X35 system
can be updated to gain ANT+ LEV connectivity by the use
of the ANT+ LEV dongle or the Iwoc Trio+ remote.
Only versions of the system that use Cusmade C1206
To nd out what type of connectors the X35 system on
your Orbea ebike uses, remove the plastic cover on the
underside of the bottom bracket area and locate the cable
that connects the internal battery to the charging point. If
the connector between these two cables is a round Cus-
made C1206, the system is compatible with the installa-
tion of the ANT+ LEV dongle or the Iwoc Trio+ remote. If
the connector is a square Hirose DF63, the system cannot
— Hirose DF63 and Cusmade C1206 connectors.

ANT+ LEV (LIGHT ELECTRIC VEHICLES) CONNECTIVITY
Once determined that the X35 system on your bicycle is compatible with the installation of
the ANT+ LEV dongle or the Iwoc Trio+ remote, your Orbea bicycle model and therefore its
specic system conguration will determine what device must be used to give the system
ANT+ LEV connectivity:
- ANT+ LEV dongle: For Orbea ebikes that do not use the Iwoc Trio handle
bar remote.
Compatible models: Orbea Gain M and Gain D with road drop
handlebars with versions of the X35 system compatible with the
installation of the ANT+ LEV dongle.
- Iwoc Trio+ remote: For Orbea ebikes that use the Iwoc Trio handlebar
remote.
Compatible models: Orbea Gain F (Urban), Optima E and EMX24
with versions of the X35 system compatible with the installation
of the Iwoc Trio+ remote.
The installation of the ANT+ LEV dongle or the Iwoc Trio+
remote provides the system with ANT+ LEV connectivity.
The head unit to be connected to the X35 system for the
display of the system data must be compatible with this
data transmission protocol. Not all ANT+ units on the mar-
ket are necessarily compatible with the LEV protocol.
The OC ANT+ LEV display unit is fully compatible with the
ANT+ LEV protocol and allows for the visualization of the
following X35 system data:
-Current speed.
-Internal X35 battery charge level.
-Total system odometry.
-Current assist level.
-System errors.
The OC ANT+ LEV display unit also allows for the assist
levels to be changed from the unit itself.
Consult all the OC ANT+ LEV functions on the specic user
manual from our website.
WARNING: The system data and the specic functions
available on other ANT+ LEV units in the market will de-
pend on the characteristics of the connected head unit.
Consult with the compatible head unit manufacturer.
COMPATIBLE HEAD UNITS.
You can access the list of ANT+ LEV compatible head units

Select the option LEV Display in the Proles section for a
complete list of the compatible devices.
X35 ERRORS DISPLAY
Through the ANT+ LEV connection, errors on the MAHLE
Ebikemotion® X35 system can be displayed on the com-
patible head units. If the system has recovered from a
previous error, this can also be displayed in the head unit.
- Errors in the X35 system: If there is an error code in the
system, this will be shown in the head unit by the generic
error code E255. All system error codes (regardless of the
specic error code in the system) will be shown by the
code E255 in the head unit. Connect the X35 system to
the MAHLE Ebikemotion® X35 mobile apps (User or Dealer
app) to access the system´s specic error code and the
diagnostics/repair method.
- Error recovery visualization: If the system has reco-
vered from an error, this will be shown in the compatible
head unit by the generic code E000 when the system is
switched on and paired with the display. The E000 code
will disappear after a few seconds. The system has no
errors.

The ANT+ LEV dongle and the Iwoc Trio+ remote are covered against manufacturing
defects and non-conformity of the materials for a 2 year period after the purchase of the
device or the Orbea bicycle they were originally purchased with.
Damages derived from incorrect use or installation, impacts and not following their re-
commendations of use are not covered by the warranty.

7. INSTALLATION
7.1. ANT+ LEV DONGLE

INSTALLING THE ANT+ LEV DONGLE
a. Using a 2mm Allen wrench, unscrew Iwoc One xing
bolt from the top tube.
b. Carefully pull the Iwoc One and remove the cable
and the connector from the top tube. Disconnect the
Iwoc One from the battery cable.

c. Connect the battery cable and the Iwoc One to the
“Y” branched cable from the ANT+ dongle.

d. Insert the ANT+ dongle and all the cables and
connectors inside the top tube to the seat area of the
top tube.
e. Refasten the Iwoc One to the top tube with a 2mm
wrench (1Nm).
f. Turn on the bike and make sure that all components
work properly.

g. Turn on the OC ANT+ LEV display or your ANT+
device and check that the bike connects correctly.
Instructions on the use of the OC ANT+ LEV display
can be found in the manual available on our web.
*In case of noise during use, wrap the dongle with the
foam sleeve provided.

INSTALLING THE IWOC TRIO+ REMOTE
1. REMOVING THE IWOC TRIO
a. Remove the left grip from the bike handlebars.
b. Loosen the Iwoc Trio xing bolt and slide it off the
handlebars.
c. Remove the rubber stop from the down tube and
pull carefully on the Iwoc Trio cable until the metal
connector can be seen. Disconnect the connector
from the Iwoc Trio.

2. INSTALLING THE IWOC TRIO+
d. Disconnect the Iwoc Trio from the “Y” branched
cable.
e. Connect the metal connector on the Iwoc Trio and
insert the cable slack inside the down tube. Replace
the rubber stop in the down tube.
f. Install the Iwoc Trio remote on the handlebars and
fasten it in place with the xing bolt (1.8 Nm).
g. Place the grip on the handlebars and fasten it in
place.
h. Turn on the bike and make sure that there are no
errors and that all components work properly.
If the new Iwoc Trio does not work correctly, it might be
necessary to replace the “Y” branched cable. In this case,
the battery might need to be removed to access the “Y”
cable. This process must be carried out by an authorized
Orbea dealer.
