To replace the chest belt battery:
1. Detach the heart rate detector unit from the belt strap.
2. Use a coin to open the battery compartment lid by
turning it anticlockwise to open.
3. Remove the old battery and insert a new CR2032, 3V
lithium battery. Make sure to place the battery in the
compartment following the polarity +/-.
4. Secure the lid by turning the coin clockwise.
IMPORTANT Remember to set the profiles after every
battery replacement or reset.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
The belt strap can be hand washed. Remember to detach
the heart rate detector unit!
• Do not wrap the detector unit in a wet towel nor with
other wet materials.
• Do not place or wash the heart rate detector unit under
running water, instead clean it with a wet cloth.
• Properly dry the detector unit immediately after use.
• Do not store the chest belt in a hot (about 50°C) and
humid (about 90%) environment.
• Do not place the conductive rubber face down on a
metal table or surface.
• Do not bleach, dry clean, tumble dry or iron the belt strap.

User Manual
The SZ999 water resistant fabric chest belt is equipped with
the latest Bluetooth Smart technology to achieve reliable
transmission linkage with sports system device that is with
the logo
and corresponding application.
OVERVIEW
HEART RATE DETECTOR
BELT STRAP
WEARING THE CHEST BELT
The chest belt counts your heartbeat
and transmits the data.
1. Align the heart rate detector unit
with the snap buttons on the
belt strap. Secure by snapping
into place.
2. Unfasten the belt strap.
3. Wet the conductive pads on the
underside of the chest belt with a
few drops of water or conductive
gel to ensure solid contact.
4. Position the heart rate detector
unit below your chest, while
making sure logo is the right way
up. Wrap the strap around your
chest and fasten into place.
To ensure an accurate heart rate
signal, adjust the strap until the belt sits
snugly below your pectoral muscles.
TIPS
• The position of the chest belt affects its performance.
• Avoid areas with dense chest hair.
• In dry, cold climates, it may take several minutes for the
chest belt to function steadily. This is normal and should
improve with several minutes of exercise.
TRANSMISSION SIGNAL
The SZ999 chest belt can be paired and provide heart rate
readings. Locate your chest belt close to your device to help
achieve pairing. The heart rate chest belt has a maximum
transmission range of about 100 centimeters (40 inches).
To search for heart rate signal, refer to the instructions of
your device.
PAIR WITH OREGON SCIENTIFIC BLUETOOTH SMART
SPORTS SYSTEM DEVICE
To pair with Oregon Scientific Bluetooth Smart device (such
as SE900 or RA900 Ssmart Watch), please refer to the
particular pairing instructions in the User Manual.
If your sports device is already paired with a chest belt, you
have to first delete the chest belt before you are able to pair
with another chest belt.
NOTE While pairing, make sure to stay away from other
devices and move the chest belt to pair close to your device.
TROUBLESHOOTING
In the event that you experience a weak signal or your signal
is disrupted by interference in the environment, follow the
instructions below to identify and resolve the situation.
1. The signal is weak.
• Shorten the distance between the heart rate chest
belt and device.
• Re-adjust the position of the heart rate chest belt.
• Check the conductive pads are moist enough to
ensure solid contact.
• Check the battery. If they are low or exhausted, the
transmission range may be shortened.
• Force a signal search on the watch.
2. The gym equipment does not seem to work with your
chest belt.
• Most gym equipment is compatible with analog
transmission. This chest belt does not transmit an
analog signal, it only uses the low energy Bluetooth
Smart technology.
3. Signal is jammed or there is interference from another
person’s heart rate monitor:
• There is too much interference in the environment
for your heart rate monitor to function. Move to an
area where the watch can register your heart rate
reading and/or force another signal search.
WARNING Signal interference in the environment can be
caused by electromagnetic disturbances. These may occur
near high voltage power lines, traffic lights, overhead lines
of electric railways, electric bus lines or trams, televisions,
car motors, bike computers, some motor driven exercise
equipment, cellular phones or when you walk through
electric security gates. Under interference, the heart rate
reading may become unstable and inaccurate.
REPLACE BATTERY
Please replace battery promptly as it may affect the accuracy
of the readings.

概要
心拍検出ユニット

ベルトの装着
チェストベルトは、あなたの心拍数を測定し、データを送
信します。
1. 心拍検出ユニットをベルトのス
ナップボタンに合わせ、しっか
りとはめ込みます。
2. チェストベルトを緩めます。
3. チェストベルトの導電部を数滴
の水で濡らすか、導電性ジェル
を塗って、肌と密着させてくだ
さい。
4. 心拍検出ユニットを胸の中心に
なるように装着してください。
その際、送信機本体のロゴが上
に向いているように方向を確認
して、肌に密着するように、ベ
ルトの長さの調整を行ってくだ
さい。
正確な心拍数の測定をするために、
心臓の上にベルトがくるように、調
整してください。
• チェストベルトの位置は性能に影響します。
• 胸毛の濃いところへのチェストベルトの装着はお避けく
ださい。
• 乾燥しているところ、寒冷地では、心拍の測定が安定す
るまでに、時間がかかることがありますが、これは、数
分の運動で改善されます。
送信信号
SZ999はペアリングを行い心拍数の測定を行います。お手
持ちのデバイスに近づけてペアリングを行ってくだささ
い。心拍数の伝達距離は最大100cmです。
心拍数の信号を受信する方法に関しては、お手持ちのデバ
イスの説明書を参照してください。
オレゴンサイエンティフィックのSSMARTWATCH
SE900/RA900と接続してください。
オレゴンサイエンティフィックのSE900/RA900 とペアリン
グを行う際は、説明書のペアリングの項目を参照してくだ
さい。
お手持ちのスポーツデバイスがすでに他のチェストベルト
とぺアリングされていて、新しく自分のチェストベルトと
ペアリングする場合、まず、デバイスのペアリングを削除
してください。
ペアリングを行う場合、他のデバイスを遠ざけ、ペ
アリングをするデバイスとチェストベルトを近づけてくだ
さい。
故障の対応(トラブルシューティング)
信号が弱くなったり、信号が環境の影響で混信した場合、
解決の為に以下の対応をおこなってください。
1. 信号が弱い場合
• 心拍計チェストベルトとデバイスの距離を短く
してください。
• 心拍計チェストベルトの位置を再調整してみて
ください。
• チェストベルトの導電部が湿って肌に密着して
いるか確認をしてください。
• 電池の残量を確認してください。電池の残量が
少なくなると通信距離が短くなります。
•
再度ベルトの信号の受信作業を行ってください。
2. ジムの機器がチェストベルトと通信できない場合
• 殆どのジムの機器は、アナログの通信方式を採用
しているので、このチェストベルトと通信はでき
ません。Blue tooth Smart の通信機器のみと通信
できます。オレゴンサイエンティフィックのBlue
tooth smart 機器(SE900/SZ900)と接続する場合
は、機器のペアリング方法に従ってくさい。(説明
書はホームページからダウンロードでます。)その
他に機器と接続する場合、その機器の説明に従っ
てください。
3. 受信エラーまたは、他の心拍計チェストベルトからの
混信の影響
•
環境には心拍計チェストベルトの機能を妨害する多
くの電波による影響があります。その際は、障害の
影響を受けない場所に移動するか、またシグナルサ
ーチを行ってください。
警告 環境からの電波信号の干渉は、電磁波の障害によっ
て引き起こされることがあり、高電圧線、信号、電気バ
ス、路面電車の架空送電線、テレビ、車のモーター、バイ
クコンピューター、運動機器を動かすモーターのいくつ
か、電動の防犯ゲートの近くを歩いているときに発生する
ことがあります。このような電波障害を受けると、心拍数
の表示は不安定で不正確になることがあります。
電池交換
電池寿命は、毎日1時間のご使用で1年間です。電池が亡く
なった場合。電池交換を行ってください。電池残量が少な
い場合は、測定精度に影響を与えます。
チェストベルトの電池の交換
Lowbattery(ローバッテリー)の表示が腕時計に現れたら
SZ999の電池を交換してください。
1. 心拍検出ユニットをベルトから取り外します。
2. 硬貨を使い電池蓋を反時計周りに回して、開けてく
ださい。
3. 古い電池を取り出して、新しいCR20323V電池を元の
+/-の位置と同じ方向に挿入してください。
4. 蓋を時計回りに回して締めてください。
重要事項 電池交換後、プロファイルの設定を行ってくだ
さい。
注意事項
チェストベルトは手洗いができますが、必ず、心拍数検出
ユニットを外してから行ってください。
• 濡れたタオルで本体を包まないで下さい。
•
高温高湿の場所では保管しないで下さい。
•
水道の水で心拍数検出ユニットを洗い流さないで下さ
い。汚れは軽く湿らせた布でふき取ってください。
•
チェストベルトを高温(約50°C)、高湿(約90%)の環境に置
かないでください。
• チェストベルトの内側の導電ゴムを、金属の上に置か
ないで下さい。
• 漂白、ドライクリーン、回転式乾燥機、アイロンをか
けないでください。
