BRIEFINTRODUCTION
Thank you for your purchase of this Wireless Indoor
and Outdoor Thermometer. Please read these
instructions carefully and keep the manual well for
future reference.
The receiver unit has a clear display that shows the
indoor temperature, the maximum & minimum
temperature records in the past 24 hours as well as
the outdoor temperature measured and transmitted
from the remote sensors. It is able to receive and
display readings from up to 3 remote sensors.
The 433 MHz technology means no wire installation
is required and you can place the sensors within
30m (100ft) from the main (indoor) unit.
OVERVIEW
RECEIVER
1.LCD display:
• Displays the outdoor and indoor temperature
records, the current channel and the low
battery indicator.
2.Ice Alert indicator light:
• Flashes when the outdoor temperature is
between -2.0°C (28°F) and 3.0°C (37°F).
3.CHANNEL key:
• Press it once to turn on the backlight and at
the same time to switch among channel 1, 2
and 3.
• Press it once to turn on the backlight for 5
seconds, and then press and hold it for 2
seconds to view the channels automatically.
• When the channels are being shown
automatically, press it to exit the automatic
display mode.
4.MIN./MAX. key:
• Press it once to turn on the backlight and at
the same time to show the minimum
temperaturerecordsinthepast24hours,press
it again to show the maximum temperature
records in the past 24 hours.
• Press and hold it for 3 seconds to delete the
minimum and maximum temperature records.

• Press it once to search a sensor.
• During the reception period, press and hold it
for 3 seconds to stop the reception.

RECEPTION OF SENSOR SIGNAL
OPERATING THETEMPERATURETATION
1. Remove the battery door and insert 2 new
AAA size batteries as per the polarity
information marked on the battery
compartment.
2. Press “RESET” key.
3. Slide “°C/°F” switch to select between °C and
°F.
4. Slide the battery door back on.
5. Press “CHANNEL” key to select the desired
channel.
Note When the sensor signal is received, the icon
“” will be displayed on the LCD.
OPERATING THE SENSOR
1. Remove the battery door and slide the
“CHANNEL” switch to CH 1.(When using
additional sensors, make sure each sensor is
assigned a different CHANNEL number.)
2. Insert 2 new AAA size batteries, matching
polarities(+/-).
3. Press “RESET” key.
4. Slide the battery door back on.
Note
Tip the transmission range may vary depending on
many factors. You may need to experiment with
various locations to get the best results.
Standard Alkaline batteries contain significant
amounts of water. Because of this they will freeze
in low temperatures of approximately -12°C (10°F).
Disposable Lithium batteries have a much lower
threshold for temperature with an estimated freezing
range of below -30°C (-22°F).
Wireless ranges can be impacted by a variety of
factors such as extremely cold temperatures. Extreme
cold may temporarily reduce the effective range
between the sensor and the base station. If the unit’s

performance fails due to low temperature, the unit will
resume proper functioning as the temperature rises to
withinthenormaltemperature range(i.e.nopermanent
damagewilloccurtothe unit due tolowtemperatures).
USING THE BACKLIGHT FUNCTION
In normal mode, press “CHANNEL” or “MIN./MAX.”
key once to activate the backlight for 5 seconds.
SWITCHING BETWEEN ºC & ºF
TEMPERATURE FORMATS
Slide “ºC/ºF” switch to select between Celsius and
Fahrenheit.
VIEWINGTHE MIN. & MAX.TEMPERATURE
RECORDS
1. In normal mode, press “MIN./MAX.” key once
to show the minimum indoor & outdoor
temperature records in the past 24 hours.
2. Press ittwice to showthemaximumtemperature
records.
3. Press it again to exit.
Note Press and hold it for 3 seconds to delete the
minimum and maximum temperature records.
USING ICE ALERT FUNCTION
If the outdoor temperature range is -2.0ºC ~ 3.0ºC
(28ºF ~ 37ºF), the Ice Alert indicator light will be
turned on and flash.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
If the low battery icon “” turns on next to the
outdoor temperature reading, replace the sensor’s
battery with 2 AAA batteries.
If the low battery icon “” turns on next to the
indoor temperature reading, replace the sensor’s
battery with 2 AA batteries.

Note Attention! Please dispose of the used unit or
batteries in an ecologically safe manner.
PLACEMENT OF MAIN UNIT AND SENSOR
For the sensor, place the screw on the desired wall
and hang the sensor by the recessed hole in the
back of it or simply place it on the desktop.
For the main unit, you can just place it on the table
by itself.

PRECAUTIONS
This product is engineered to give you years of
satisfactory service if you handle it carefully. Here
are a few precautions:
•Do not cover the ventilation holes. Make sure
items that are nearby such as newspapers,
tablecloths, curtains etc cannot accidentally
cover the ventilation holes.
•Do not subject the unit to excessive force,
shock, dust, temperature or humidity, which
may result in malfunction, shorter electronic
life span, damaged battery and distorted parts.
•Placement of this product on wood surfaces
with certain types of ûnishes, such as clear
varnish, may result in damage to the ûnish.
Consult the furniture manufacturer’s care
instructions for direction as to the types of
objects that may safely be placed on the
wood surface. Oregon Scientiûc shall not be
responsible for any damage to wood surfaces
from contact with this product.
•Do not immerse the unit in water. If you spill
liquid over it, dry it immediately with a soft,
lint-free cloth.
•Do not clean the unit with abrasive or corrosive
materials.

•Do not tamper with the unit’s internal
components. Doing so will invalidate the
warranty on the unit and may cause
unnecessary damage. The unit contains no
user-serviceable parts.
•Only use fresh batteries as speciûed in the
user’s instructions. Do not mix new and old

istruzioni e conservare il manuale per riferimento
futuro.
L’unità ricevente permette la chiara visualizzazione
della temperatura interna, rilevazione delle massime
edelleminimedelleultime24oreedellatemperatura
esterna rilevata e trasmessa dai sensori remoti. È
in grado di ricevere e visualizzare le rilevazioni di un
numero massimo di 3 sensori remoti.
La tecnologia 433 MHz consente di non installare
cavi e di posizionare i sensori in qualsiasi punto
entro 30 m dall’unità (interna) principale.
PANORAMICA

Suggerimento Il campo di trasmissione può variare
in base a molti fattori. È possibile dover provare
diverse posizioni prima di ottenere i risultati migliori.
Le batterie alcaline standard contengono un’alta
percentuale d’acqua, per questo motivo gelano alle
basse temperature, a circa -12°C (10°F). Le batterie
allitiohannoinveceunasogliamoltoinferiore,egelano
approssimativamente sotto i -30 C.
Quando si è in modalità senza fili, sul campo
influiscono diversi fattori, tra cui le temperature
particolarmente rigide. Il freddo intenso può ridurre
temporaneamente il campo d’azione tra il sensore e
la stazione base. Se le prestazioni dell’unità sono
scarse a causa delle basse temperature, l’unità
ricomincerà a funzionare correttamente a mano a
mano che la temperatura aumenta fino a rientrare
nella norma (quindi l’unità non subirà alcun danno
permanente a causa delle basse temperature).
UTILIZZO DELLA FUNZIONE
DI RETROILLUMINAZIONE
In modalità normale, premere una volta “CHANNEL”
o “MIN./MAX.” per attivare la retroilluminazione per
5 secondi.

ALLARME GHIACCIO
Se la temperatura rilevata dal sensoreremotoscende
tra i 3°C e i -2 °C, l’indicatore LED lampeggia e
smetterà di lampeggiare quando la temperatura sarà
uscita da questa fascia.
SOSTITUZIONE DELLE BATTERIE
Se l’indicatore di batteria in esaurimento visualizza
l’icona “” accanto alla temperatura esterna,
significa che l’alimentazione del sensore non è
sufficiente e che è necessario sostituire le batterie
con 2 batterie di tipo AAA.
Se invece l’indicatore di batteria in esaurimento
visualizza l’icona “” accanto alla temperatura
interna, significa che è necessario sostituire le
batterie dell’unità principale con 2 batterie nuove di
tipo AAA.
NOTA Attenzione! Smaltire l’unità olebatterieusate
Indicatore di batteria in esaurimento
nel pieno rispetto dell’ambiente.
POSIZIONAMENTO DELL’UNITÀ
PRINCIPALE E DEL SENSORE
Per il sensore, inserire la vite sulla parete e
appendere il sensore utilizzando il foro sul retro,
oppure appoggiarlo su un tavolo.
Per l’unità principale, posizionarla su un tavolo.

PRECAUZIONI
L’unità è stata progettata per fornire un servizio
soddisfacente per diversi anni, purché manipolata
con attenzione. Di seguito sono riportate alcune
importanti precauzioni:
•Non sottoporre il prodotto a forza eccessiva,
urti, polvere, sbalzi eccessivi di temperatura
o umidità.
•Non otturare i fori di aerazione con oggetti
come giornali, tende, etc.
•Non immergere l’unità in acqua. Se si versa
del liquido sul prodotto, asciugarlo
immediatamenteconunpannomorbido e liscio.
•Non pulire l’unità con materiali abrasivi o
corrosivi.
•Non manomettere i componenti interni. In
questo modo si invalida la garanzia.
•Oregon Scientific declina ogni responsabilità
per eventuali danni alle finiture causati dal
posizionamentodelprodottosudeterminatitipi
di legno. Consultare le istruzioni fornite dal
fabbricantedelmobileperulterioriinformazioni.
•Utilizzare solo batterie nuove. Non mescolare
batterie nuove con batterie vecchie.
•Non smaltire le batterie vecchie come rifiuto
indifferenziato. È necessario che questo rifiuto
venga smaltito mediante raccolta differenziata
per essere trattato in modo idoneo.
•Alcune unità sono dotate di una striscia di
sicurezza per le batterie. Rimuovere la striscia
dal vano batterie prima del primo utilizzo.
•Al momento dello smaltimento del prodotto,
attenersi alla nota relativa in allegato.

INTRODUCTION
Nous vous remercions pour avoir fait l’acquisition
de ce Thermomètre sans fil intérieur et extérieur.
Veuillez lire attentivement ces instructions et
conserver ce manuel pour toute référence ultérieure.
Le récepteur est équipé d’un écran clair affichant les
relevés de température intérieure et les minima et
maximadesdernières24heurescommelatempérature
extérieure mesurée et transmise depuis les sondes
externes. Ce modèle est à même de recevoir et
d’afficher les relevés de trois sondes maximum.
Grâce à la technologie 433 MHz, aucune installation
de câble n’est nécessaire et vous pouvez placer les
sondes où vous le souhaitez dans un rayon de 30 m
(100 pieds) de l’appareil principal (intérieur).

RÉCEPTEUR
1.Ecran LCD
•Affiche les relevés de température intérieure
et extérieure, le canal actuel et l’indicateur de
faiblesse des piles.
2.Indicateur d’alerte du niveau de gel :
•Clignote si la température extérieure se situe
entre –2 °C (28 °F) et 3 °C (37 °F).
3.Touche CHANNEL :
•Appuyez une fois pour activer le rétro éclairage
et en même temps pour défiler entre les
canaux 1,2 et 3.
•Appuyez une fois pour activer le rétro-
éclairage pendant 5 secondes, appuyez et
maintenez cette touche pendant 2 secondes
pour afficher automatiquement les canaux.
•Lorsque les canaux s’affichent
automatiquement, appuyez sur cette touche
pour sortir du mode d’affichage automatique.
4.Touche MIN. / MAX. :
•Appuyez une fois pour activer le rétro éclairage et
