Cleaning instructions
In order to ensure precise measurements, its recommended
that the device is cleaned after each use.
Using a cotton swab containing a 75% alcohol, wipe the
thermometer probe and remove any residue that may
affect operation. Cleaning action should be maintained for
at least 5 seconds. Wipe the remainder of the thermometer
with a soft and dry cloth for a minimum of 10 seconds.
After cleaning, please ensure that there is no visible dirt
or residue on your thermometer. Wait 10 minutes before
using after cleaning.
Why should you clean after each use?
Infrared temperature reading technology adopts a
highly sensitive technique to detect temperature. Any
dust or ear wax will affect measurement accuracy and
can also increase the risk of bacterial infection.
