Instructions for Use
Attaching The Base To A Mount
Fight Tech comes with two optional mounts for the base of the machine. The first mount allows the user to
attach the base to the floor and a second mount that doesn't require any floor attachments.
For the floor mounting base, find a hard surfaced location that is best suited for the movement and activity
required to use Fight Tech efficiently and make sure the surface area is clean of dirt and dry
for proper adhesion. Remove all the protective tape covers from underneath the base. Place the unit on the
floor with the sticky side exposed to the floor's surface. Once placed on the hard surface,
press the base to the floor using one's weight to the base for the development of a strong stick.
NOTE: The adhesive tabs are only one time use. Once the tabs are removed from the floor they will lose their
adhesive properties. They are meant to remain stuck to the floor while the base
and the machine at large can be disconnected from the floor tabs. Extra tabs are provided.
In order to remove the base, a strong elongated object will be needed to pry the base from the floor.
To reinstall the base to the floor, align the tabs on the bottom of the base to the tabs on the
floor. Once the tabs are aligned, step on the base until a snap is heard indicating that the base is now attached
to the floor tabs. The shaft is now ready to be installed once the base is firmly
attached to the floor.

Instructions for Use
Adding The Targets
1) The shaft is mounted onto the pre-drilled hole found in the base. When inserting the shaft twist the shaft into
place. Do not force shaft down into base. Once the shaft makes contact with the stopper, tighten the three screws
found on the side of pre-drilled hole to lock in place the shaft.
2) It is necessary to mount the two uppercut targets before mounting the arm targets if use of the uppercut
targets is desired.
3) The arm target should be positioned approximately to shoulder height for most effective use. To adjust and
fasten arm position, loosen collars attached to shaft with the Allen wrench provided.
Rest the arm upon your shoulder to determine the proper height. Difficulty of striking the arm target can be varied
by adjusting the position of the arm target - below the shoulder for a slightly more
difficult and refined work-out, or above the shoulder for an easier and more accessible target.
4) Secure the collar with the Allen wrench once the appropriate height has been determined. Try to keep the arm
as straight as possible when tightening the collars.
5) After the arm position is set and bottom collar is secure, slide down the rest of the arm assembly down the
shaft which consists of four bearing washers and two thrust bearings.
6) Make sure the arm is secure without being fastened too tightly. The arm should be able to spin freely and up to
approximately four revolutions with a moderate push. If it is either too loose or tight,
further adjustments need to be made. An indication of the bearing be fastened too tightly is if the movement of
the arm is restricted and rotates without ease. Likewise, a clear indication
that the arm is fastened too loosely is if the bearings rattle upon revolution of the arm.
7) The head target is fastened to parallel the height of the user's head. The position of the head can be adjusted by
loosening and then tightening the screws in the back of the head target.
The target should be tightened until it does not move on the shaft.
8) The position of the uppercut targets can be adjusted similarly to the head target -- by loosening and tightening
the screws found in the back of the target. The position of the uppercut
targets are best put at the mid section of the user but may be adjusted depending on the user's skill level and
comfort.
9) The bag for the head target should be pumped until the bag feels almost full. The bag should have enough air so
it may be squeezed and be able to surround the fingertips.
The needle needs to be wet prior to insertion and pumping.
Although the arm target is made primarily from foam, it is recommended to use Fight Tech with protective
sparring gloves, as persistent contact with the surface can possibly irritate the skin
on some individuals.
Fight Tech can be equipped with the recoil apparatus to generate quicker return strikes by the arm. This is
recommended for advanced users only, as a greater level of agility and coordination
is required. The recoil apparatus will soon be available in addition to a rotating kicking target.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY INFORMATION
FIGHT TECH BY ORION 10
Warranty Information
Prior to use of FightTech or any exercising and conditioning program that utilizes
FightTech be sure to consult your physician or athletic trainer. Read all instructions
as they are necessary to avoid injury and damage to the device. Overuse of
FightTech can lead to undue strain on muscles and breathing as is common with all
strenuous cardiovascular training. It is necessary for the beginner to start slow and
progress in speed until a sufficient technique is developed. As FightTech is a
complete body work out, it requires the use of muscle groups not commonly
exercised with most gym equipment which can often produce soreness typical
after strenuous exercise by under used muscles groups. As the body adapts to the
rigors of FightTech, the delayed workout soreness will dissipate with time as the
body develops muscle from use.
The manufacturer provides a warranty of FightTech in full replacement for any
defective parts for up to one year after purchase.
In order to obtain the warranty the unit must be registered online. Online
registration will also allow the user to easily purchase additions and upgraded
parts. The customer's personal information will not be passed on to or sold to any
third parties under any circumstance.
The warranty only covers damages caused by intended use of FightTech, as the
unit should not sustain damage during recommended usage.
Warranty for the shaft is limited to irregularities at points for entry and removal of
parts or if the shaft is bent upon initial purchase. Due to metal on metal contact
and plastic revolving around the shaft, a dull discoloration on the shaft is possible
and cannot be avoided with continuous use. This will not inhibit the effectiveness
or integrity of the shaft. It is necessary to avoid using acutely aggressive strikes at
the machine to prevent damage over accumulated power strikes. Though
FightTech is designed to take punches of high magnitude, it does not have the
durability of a punching bag under full strength strikes.
We reserve the right to change or modify Fight Tech training units without notice.
