This instruction manual describes handling of the
screen.
Refer to the Installation Manual for installing the screen.
Beforeuse:
The screen surface may have an odor at first. Please ventilate enough by opening the window.
Any
such odor will gradually fade.
When the odor is strong, please keep the screen pulled out, even not in use. (It
might take several days
till the screen does not have an odor any more.)

Anything could block the movement ofthe screen causingdamage.

Please confirm the accessories beforeuse.
The mounting brackets, stoppers, bolts, screws, washersand hex-headwrench are
used for installation. Refer to the Installation Manual.

Ifthe screen fabric is pulled down more than the STOP label, it may cause the fall-

rolling. Do not pull out the screen more than the STOP labelpoint.

Cautions inhandling
The surface of the screen is specially processed to enhance projection image. The contamination or damage
mayresult in poor projection image. Payclose attentiontothe followingswhenhandlingthis product.
■Do not touchthe screen surface.
■Do not draw anythingonthe screen surface.
■Do not rubor scratchthe surfacewith anything hard.
■Gentlywipe the dust off the surface with the soft dry clothor remove with a soft brush.
※ The screen surface may have anodor at first. Please ventilate enough by opening the window. Anysuch
odor willgraduallyfade. Whenthe odor is strong, please keep the screen pulled out, evennot in use.
Never use a moist clothor chemicals suchas benzene, thinner etc.
It maycause the poor projection image.

Usage
The pull down and up make the rocking breaks work and repeat the lock and release each time. Please hold
the handle when you pull downand up the screen.
Using the screen
1. Hookthe attached hook bar ontothe handle ofthe screen, and thenpullthe bar down.

2. Pullthe handle withinreach and thenhold the handle byhand. Pullthe handle downto the specified
position and thenrelease. The release locks the screen position.
※ When changing the hookbar to hand, the stopper may
lock the screen. Do not pull down but follow step 3.
3. The stopper hookswhenthe handle isgrasped. Pullthescreenslightlydown. The stopper is unhooked.
Thenallow the screen to scroll back slightly and then pull down to the specified position and release your
hand.
Do not pull downthe screen below the “STOP” label position.
It maycausedamage or fallofthe screenfabric whenforciblypulled down.

Storing the screen
Pullthe screen slightly downto unhookthe stopper and release it.
It will scroll up automatically.
Applying tension to the screen
Ifthe screen fabric is less tensioned around the under bar area after use,
adjust the tension using thetension adjustment mechanism.
Turn the knobs attached on bothedges ofthe under pipe to
the right, andthenthe fabric is tightened.
※ Ifexcess tension has beenapplied, turnthe knobs to the left
(CCW), and loosenthe tension. Leave it for a fewdays, and
thenreadjust.
When adjusting the knobs, make sure youturn bothknobs same times.
Ifone side is adjusted only, it may cause wrinkles, and poorprojection image.
Warning
: Do not turn the knobs more thanthree
rounds, clock-wise (CW) or counter-clock-wise
(CCW).
