Denna bruksanvisning omfattar följande produkt:
Rökgasfläkt CF 180 C
• Fläkten monteras enligt monteringsanvisningen.
• Fläkten ska monteras på ett säkert sätt så att inte
fläkten kan lossna eller orsaka vibrationer.
• Fläkten ska monteras på ett sådant sätt att service
och underhåll kan utföras.
• För reglering av varvtal kan transformator/tyristor/
frekvensomvandlare anslutas.
• Ett kopplingsschema finns applicerad på insidan av
eldosans lock.
• Externt av och påslag ska monteras i nära anslut-
ning till fläkten.
• Elinstallation ska ske av behörig installatör.
INSTALLATION
Rökgasfläkten CF 180 C är konstruerad för att tåla
höga rökgastemperaturer i en starkt korrosiv miljö.
Den är avsedd att användas i kombination med elds-
täder i villor där det råder undertryck eller där rök-
gastemperaturen av någon anledning är för låg.
CF 180 C är:
• Försedd med underhållsfri ytterrotormotor i tem-
peraturklass F med permanentsmorda kullager.
• Försedd med utlopp för rökgaserna som är snett
uppåtriktade för att förhindra nedsmutsning av
yttertaket.
• Utrustad med fästanordningar som passar både
cirkulära och rektangulära rökgaskanaler inom
intervallen 100-200 mm resp.100-150 mm.
• Anpassad för såväl murade skorstenar som för
skorstenar av stål.
• Tillverkad i rostfritt material, (SS 2333) för att
motstå angrepp från skadliga ämnen i rökgasen.
• Konstruerad för att tåla rökgastemperaturer på
upp till 200 C°.
• Öppningsbar så att man lätt kommer åt för rengö-
ring av fläkthjul och rökgaskanal. Vid behov av
noggrannare rengöring kan hela fläktpaketet med
ett par enkla handgrepp lyftas ur fläktens ytterhöl-
je.
• Försedd med en mineralullsplatta som tätning
mellan fläkt och skorsten för ett maximalt utnytt-
jande av fläktens kapacitet.
• Utrustad med en fläkt för effektiv kylning av fläkt-
motorn.
• Motor och kylfläkt är placerade helt avskilda från
rökgaserna.
• Möjlig att varvtalsreglera via tyristorstyrning eller
transformator.
• Försedd med en säkerhetsvajer för att undvika ras-

olyckor.
• Fläkten är avsedd att används för transport av rök-
gaser med en temperatur på max 200 ºC.
• Fläkten skall vara i drift vid eldning.
• Fläkten är försedd med en asynkronmotor av ytter-
rotortyp, som har underhållsfria dubbelkapslade
kullager.
• Fläkten kan monteras på murade skorstenar eller
på skorstenar av stål.
• Fläkten är i sitt standardutförande avsedd att an-
slutas till enfas 230V,50Hz.
• Fläkten är avsedd att monteras horisontellt.

• Montera vinklarna till fläktens bottenplatta med
hjälp av medföljande skruvar och muttrar. Fläkten
levereras med två olika storlekar på fästvinklarna,
detta för att passa cirkulära och rektangulära rök-
gaskanaler inom intervallen 100-200 mm resp
100-150 mm.
• Trä i isoleringsskivan i fläktens bottenplatta och
placera fläkten på skorstenen. Den skiva som leve-
reras med fläkten är förberedd för en cirkulär rök-
gaskanal med diametern 100 mm. Om kanalen har
en annan geometri eller diameter får hålet skäras
upp vid montering.
• Förankra fläkten i skorstenen med hjälp av den
säkerhetsvajer som sitter monterad i fläktens ytter-
hölje.
• Skruva fast den elektriska kopplingsdosan på skor-
stenen.
Observera att den elektriska anslutningen endast
får utföras av fackman.

• Fläkten ska transporteras i emballage fram till
installationsplatsen. Detta för att förhindra trans-
portskador, repor och nedsmutsning.
DRIFT
Före idrifttagande kontrollera att:
• fläkten är monterad och elektriskt ansluten på rätt
sätt med skyddsjord och ev motorskydd.
• strömstyrkan inte överstiger den på etiketten an-
givna, med mer än 5%.
• inga främmande föremål finns i fläkten och att inga
missljud hörs vid uppstart.
HANTERING

UNDERHÅLL
• Innan service, underhåll eller reparation påbörjas
måste fläkten göras spänningslös (allpolig brytning)
och fläkthjulet har stannat.
• Fläkten ska rengöras vid behov, dock minst 1 gång/
år för att bibehålla kapaciteten och undvika obal-
ans
med onödiga lagerskador som följd.
• Fläktens lager är underhållsfria och ska endast
bytas
vid behov.
• Vid rengöring av fläkten får ej högtryckstvätt eller
starka lösningsmedel användas. Rengöring måste
ske på ett sådant sätt att fläkthjulets balansvikter ej

rubbas eller fläkthjulet skadas. Kontrollera att inga
missljud hörs från fläkten.
1. Kontrollera att det finns spänning till fläkten.
2. Bryt spänningen och kontrollera att fläkthjulet ej
är blockerat.
3. Kontrollera termokontakten/motorskydd. Om
denna löst ut bör orsaken till överhettning åtgär-
das
för att inte felet skall upprepas. Fläkten är försedd
med en automatisk termokontakt som återställs
automatiskt när motorn svalnat.
4. Kontrollera att driftkondensatorn är ansluten (se
kopplingsschema).
5. Om fläkten ändå inte fungerar bör första åtgärd
vara att byta kondensator.
6. Om ingen av dessa åtgärder hjälper, kontakta din
fläktleverantör.
7. Vid ev reklamation skall fläkten vara rengjord,
motorkabeln vara oskadad och en utförlig felbe-
skrivning bifogas.

This ”Directions for use” contains following product:
Chimney fan CF 180 C
• The fan must be installed according to the assembly
instruction.
• The fan should be installed in a safe way so it not
come loose or cause vibrations.
• The fan should be installed in a way that makes
service and maintenance easy.
• To regulate the speed a transformer, a speed con-
troller or a frequency converter can be connected.
• A wiring diagram is applied on the inside of the
junction box.
• Electrical installations must be connected to a
locally situated tension free switcher.
• Electrical installations must be made by an autho-
INSTALLATION
The chimney fan CF 180 C is designed to cope with
high flue gase temperature in a high corrosive envi-
ronment. It is used to increase the up draught in a
chimney or flue connected to a stove, open fireplace
or boiler.
CF 180 C is:
• equipped with a maintenance-free external rotor
motor for temperatureclass F. The ball bearings are
sealed for life.
• equipped with outlet for flue gas which are
pointed diagonally upwards, to prevent fouling of
roof.
• equipped with angle brackets that fits both circular
and rectangular chimney ducts, with intervals of
100-200 mm resp. 100-150 mm.
• adjusted for chimneys of steel or brick.
• made of stainless steel (SS2333-02) to prevent
attacks from a harmful substances in the flue gas.
• constructed to withstand flue gases of up to
200 C° continously.
• easy to open for cleaning the impeller and duct with
the swing-out design. If a major cleaning is neces-
sary,
just a few simple operations and the entire fan can
be lifted out of the housing.
• sealed, for maximum capacity, with a mineral wool
board between the fan and chimney.
• equipped with a fan for effeciency cooling of the
fan motor. The motor and cooling fan are placed se-
cluded from the flue gas.
• possible to speed control by thyristor regulator or
transformer.
• equipped with an security wire to avoid accidents of

• The fan is adapted to transport flue gases with a
temperature of maximum 200 C°.
•The fan must be operating when firing.
• The fan is equipped with ball bearing mounted ex-
ternal rotor type induction motor.
• The fan is adjusted for chimneys of steel or brick.
• The fan is as standard single-phase, 230 V,50 Hz.
• The fan should be installed horizontally.
USAGE

• Mount the angle brackets to the bottom plate of
the fan with the screws and nuts. The fan is delivered
with two different sizes of angle brackets, to fit circu-
lar or rectangular chimney ducts, with intervals of
100-200 mm resp. 100-150 mm.
• Pull the insulating board on the bottom plate of
the fan and place the fan on the chimney. The board
that comes with the fan is prepared for a circular
chimney duct with the diameter of 100 mm. If the
duct has another diameter or looks different, the
hole needs to cut open when mounting.
• Anchor the fan on to the chimney with the safety
wire which is mounted on the housing.
• Fasten the electrical junction box on the chimney
with screws.
Notice! The electrical installation must be made by
an authorised electrician.

• The fan must be transported in its packing until in-
stallation. This prevents transport damages, scratch-
es and the fan from getting dirty.
OPERATION
Before starting, make sure that:

• the fan are installed and connected electrically in
the right way grounded and with motor protec-
tion.
• the current does not exceed more than +5 % of
what is stated on the label.
• no noise appears when starting the fan.
HOW TO HANDLE

MAINTENANCE
• Before service, maintenance or repair begins, the
fan must be tension free and the impeller must
have stopped.
• The fan must be cleaned when needed, at least once
per year to maintain the capacity and to avoid
unbalance which may cause unnecessary damages
on the bearings.
• The fan bearings are maintenance-free and should
be renew only when necessary.
• When cleaning the fan, high-pressure cleaning or
strong dissolvent must not be used. Cleaning
should be done without dislodging or damaging the
impeller.Make sure that there is no noise from the
fan.
FAULT DETECTION
1. Make sure that there is tension to the fan.
2. Cut the tension and verify that the impeller is not
blocked.
3. Check the thermo protector/motor contact. If it is
disconnected the cause of overheating must be
taken care of, not to be repeated. The fan has auto-
matic thermo protector where the resetting will be
done automatically when the motor is cold.
4. Make sure that the capacitor is connected, accor-
ding to the wiring diagram.
5. If the fan still does not work, the first thing to do
is
to change the capacitor.
6. If nothing of this works, contact your fan supplier.
7. If the fan is returned to the supplier, it must be
cleaned, the motor cable undamaged and a detai-
