Para disminuir el riesgo de incendio, descarga eléctrica y lesiones personales, se deben

3. Este ventilador no está diseñado para un funcionamiento continuo o equivalente.
4. Para protegerse contra descargas eléctricas, no sumerja la unidad, el enchufe o el cable en
agua ni lo rocíe con líquidos. Enchufe el aparato directamente a la toma de corriente.
5. Es necesaria una estrecha supervisión cuando cualquier aparato es utilizado por niños o

DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA UNIDAD
DESCRIPCIONES (CONSULTE LAS FIG. 1 & 2)
Para encender la unidad (uso continuo):
1. Presione (3)- Seleccione la velocidad 1 (Baja), 2 (Media) o 3 (Alta) como indican
las luces de Indicación de Velocidad (1). Consulte la Fig. 2.

El Control Remoto requiere una bateria de celda de moneda para su funcionamiento. Hay un
compartimento en la parte posterior de la unidad (consulte la Fig. 4) para guardar el control
remoto cuando no se lo está utilizando.

Para usar los modos de Brisa/Nocturno:
1. Presione (10) y seleccione el tiempo deseado para que se apague la unidad
entre 1, 2, 4 u 8 horas como indican las luces de Indicación del Temporizador (8).
Consulte la Fig. 2.
1. Presione (1) = Oscilación encendida (ON), apagada (OFF)
1. Presione (2) para seleccionar el modo de Brisa.
2. El modo de Brisa realizará ciclos aleatorios con ajustes de velocidad de Alto,
Medio, Bajo y Apagado simulando una briza natural hasta que el usuario apague la
unidad.
3. El modo nocturno , la unidad recorrerá automáticamente los ajustes de velocidad
del ventilador, comenzando en Alto durante media hora, Medio durante media hora y
luego en Bajo hasta que el usuario apague la unidad.

INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN

INSTALACIÓN DE BASE/CABLE
1. Desatornille el anillo de bloqueo (4) de la parte inferior de la carcasa del ventilador.
2. Encaje ambas mitades de la base juntas para formar una base circular completa,
asegurándose de que el cable esté encerrado entre la base (2 y 3).
3. Asegúrese de que 4 postes en la base estén alineados con los orificios en la parte
inferior de la carcasa del ventilador.
4. Vuelva a colocar el anillo de la arandela atornillándolo de nuevo a la parte inferior de
la base.
5. Asegúrese de que la base esté adecuadamente asegurada al ventilador para evitar el
riesgo de que se caiga.
6. Asegure el cable de alimentación (5) a la parte inferior de la base (2 y 3) pasando a
través de las pestañas de la base. Consulte la Fig.6.

Seguir estas instrucciones para cuidar correctamente con seguridad de su ventilador Oster®. Por
favor recordar:
1. Desenchufar siempre el ventilador antes de su limpieza o montaje.
2. No permitir que entre agua en la carcasa del motor de ventilador.
3. Utilizar un paño suave humedecido en una solución de jabón suave.
4. No utilizar lo siguiente como producto de limpieza: gasolina, aguarrás o bencina.
LIMPIEZA Y ALMACENAMIENTO
ALMACENAMIENTO DEL VENTILADOR
Su ventilador puede almacenarse montado o parcialmente desmontado. Es importante
mantenerlo seguro en un lugar seco y seguro.
1. Si se almacena desmontado, recomendamos utilizar la caja original (o de un tamaño
apropiado).
2. Si se almacena montado o parcialmente montado, recordar proteger el cabezal del
ventilador contra la entrada de polvo.
CONTROL REMOTO:
NOTA: RETIRE LA ETIQUETA PROTECTORA DE LA BATERÍA DEL CONTROL REMOTO
ANTES DE LA OPERACIÓN.
Esta unidad incluye una batería de litio, CR2025 / 3V.
Retire la batería antes de desechar el control remoto.
CAMBIO DE BATERÍA
Las baterías deben desecharse adecuadamente, incluso manteniéndolas fuera del alcance de
los niños. Incluso las baterías usadas pueden causar lesiones.
a) Localice el compartimento de la batería en la parte inferior trasera del mando a distancia.
Deslice la tapa de la batería hacia afuera con el pulgar.
b) Retire la batería vieja.
c) Coloque una batería nueva en el compartimento de la batería.
d) Deslice el compartimiento de la batería en el control remoto auricular.
NOTAS:
• Retire la batería del equipo cuando no se vaya a utilizar durante un período de tiempo
prolongado.
• Retire la batería usada de inmediato.
• No deseche las baterías usadas en los contenedores de basura domésticos. Comuníquese
con su gobierno local para conocer las prácticas de eliminación o reciclaje en su área.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of re, electric shock, and injury to persons. These precautions include:
1. Read all instructions before using this appliance.
2. Use fan only for purposes described in the instruction manual.
3. This fan is not intended for continuous operation or equivalent.
4. To protect against electrical shock do not immerse unit, plug or cord in water or spray with
liquids. Plug the appliance directly into electrical outlet.
5. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children, or
incapacitated individuals.
6. Unplug from outlet when not in use, when moving fan from one location to another, before
putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.
7. Avoid contact with moving parts.
8. Do not operate in the presence of explosive and/or ammable fumes.
9. To avoid re hazard, NEVER place the cord under rugs or any parts near an open ame,
cooking or other heating appliance.
10. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug after the appliance malfunctions,
or has been dropped/damaged in any manner. Take it to an Authorized Service Center for its
examination and/or repair.
11. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runner, or similar
coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from trafc
area and where it will not be tripped over.
12. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may cause
hazards.
13. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table, counter or come in contact with hot
surfaces or leave exposed to high trafc areas.

WARNING: Chemical Burn Hazard. Keep batteries away from children.
This product contains a lithium button/coin cell battery. If a new or used lithium button/coin cell
battery is swallowed or enters the body, it can cause severe internal burns and can lead to
death in as little as 2 hours. Always completely secure the battery compartment. If the battery
compartment does not close securely, stop using the product, remove the batteries, and keep it
away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of
the body, seek immediate medical attention.

Remote Control requires coin cell battery for operation. There is a slot on the back of the unit
(Refer to Fig. 4) to store the remote when not in use.

1. Press (3)
1. Press (10) to select desired time for Power to turn OFF in 1, 2, 4, 8 hours shown by the
Timer Indicator lights (8). Ref. to Fig.2.

1. Press (2) to Select Breeze or Sleep shown by the Indicator lights (4, 5).
2. Breeze Mode will randomly cycle through the fan speed settings from High, Medium,
Low & OFF to simulate a natural breeze until the user turns the unit OFF.
3. Sleep Mode will automatically cycle through the fan speed settings, starting at High for a
half hour, then Medium for a half hour, then on Low until user turns the unit OFF.

BASE / CORD ASSEMBLY
1. Unscrew locking ring (4) from the bottom of the fan housing
2. Snap both halves of the base together to form a complete circular base, making sure the
cord is enclosed between base (2 & 3).
3. Ensure 4 posts on the base line up with the holes on the bottom of the fan housing.
4. Replace the locking ring by screwing it back onto the bottom of the base.
5. Ensure that the base is adequately secured to the fan to avoid risk of toppling over.
6. Secure power cord (5) to bottom of Base (2 & 3) by routing through tabs on base.

Follow these instructions to correctly and safely care for your Oster® fan. Please remember:
1. Always unplug the fan before cleaning or assembly.
2. Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan motor housing.
3. Be sure to use a soft cloth, moistened with a mild soap solution.
4. Do not use any of the following as a cleaner: petrol, thinners or benzene.
Your fan can be stored either partially disassembled or assembled. It is important to keep it in a
safe, dry location.
1. If stored disassembled, we recommend using the original (or appropriately sized) box.
2. If stored assembled or partially assembled, remember to protect the fan head from dust.
REMOTE CONTROL HANDSET:
NOTE: PLEASE REMOVE THE PROTECTIVE STICKER FROM THE REMOTE CONTROL
BATTERY BEFORE OPERATION.
This unit includes one lithium battery, CR2025/3V.
Remove battery before discarding the remote.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
The cells should be disposed of properly, including keeping them away from children. Even used
cells may cause injury.
a) Locate the battery compartment on the bottom back of the remote control handset. Slide the
battery cover out with your thumb.
b) Remove old battery.
c) Place new battery into battery compartment.
d) Slide battery compartment into the remote control handset.
NOTES:
• Remove the battery from the equipment when it is not being used for an extended period of
time.
• Remove the used battery promptly.
• Do not discard used batteries into household trash containers. Contact your local government
for disposal or recycling practices in your area.
