LAMP ASSEMbLy
1. Unpack all lamp parts and lay out on the floor with the
base (A) laying flat.
2. Thread lower pole (B) to base (A) by hand turning
clockwise until tight.
3. Attach shade (E) to socket cup (D) using socket ring
(F) to hold shade in place.
4. Thread socket ring (F) in socket cup (D) by turning
clockwise until tight enough to hold the shade steady.
5. To postion the shade (E), loosen thumbscrews
(C). Move shade (E) into position, then tighten
thumbscrews (C) by hand until snug. DO NOT force
thumbscrew as damage to the lamp may occur.
6. Install bulb following BULB INSERTION/
REPLACEMENT instructions.
7. Adjust height of pole (H) by turning knob (I) counter
clockwise until desired height. To tighten, turn knob (I)
clockwise.
8. Plug the lamp into a standard 120V outlet.
9. To turn the lamp on or off, toggle the power cord
mounted switch (J).
bULb INSERTION/REPLACEMENT
1. Make sure the lamp is not plugged into an electrical
socket.
2. If the lamp has been in use, allow it to cool for
approximately 5 minutes before proceeding.
3. To install the bulb (G) in the socket (D), thread the
base of the bulb into the socket (D) turning clockwise
until snug.
CAUTION: DO NOT over tighten the bulb. Over
tightening the bulb may make removal difficult or
damage the lamp or bulb.
4. To remove a bulb (G) already installed in the lamp,
unthread the bulb from the socket (D) turning
counterclockwise to loosen.

AVERTISSEMENT : Pour éviter les décharges
électriques, assurez-vous de ne pas brancher la
lampe avant qu’elle ne soit complètement assemblée.
MONTAGE DE LA LAMPE
1. Retirez la lampe et toutes ses pièces de l’emballage et
placez-les sur le sol en mettant la base (A) à plat.
2. Enfilez la tige du bas (B) sur la base (A) à la main, en
tournant dans le sens horaire jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit bien
serrée..
3. Fixez l’abat-jour (E) au réceptacle de la douille (D) en
utilisant l’anneau de la douille (F) pour maintenir l’abat-
jour en place.
4. Vissez ensuite l’anneau de la douille (F) dans le
réceptacle de la douille (D) en tournant dans le sens
horaire jusqu’à ce que ce soit suffisamment serré pour
maintenir solidement l’abat-jour en place.
5. Pour bouger l’abat-jour (E), desserrez les vis à oreilles
(C). Placez l’abat-jour (E) à la position voulue, puis
resserrer les vis à oreilles (C) à la main jusqu’à ce
qu’elles soient bien serrées. NE PAS forcer les vis à
oreilles, car vous pourriez endommager la lampe.
6. Montez les ampoules en suivant les instructions
INSERTION/REMPLACEMENT DE L’AMPOULE
7. Pour ajuster la hauteur de la tige (H), tournez le bouton
(I) dans le sens antihoraire jusqu’à la hauteur désirée.
Pour serrer la tige en place, tournez le bouton (I) dans le
sens horaire.
8. Branchez la lampe dans une prise murale standard
de 120 V.
9. Pour allumer ou éteindre la lampe, tournez la roulette
de l’interrupteur placé sur le cordon d’alimentation (J).
INSERTION/REMPLACEMENT DE
L’AMPOULE.
1. S’assurer que la lampe n’est pas branchée dans une
prise de courant électrique.
2. Si la lampe a été utilisée, la laisser refroidir pendant
environ cinq minutes avant de continuer.
3. Pour installer l’ampoule (G) dans la douille (D), vissez la
base de l’ampoule dans la douille (D) en tournant dans
le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à ce qu’elle
soit bien serrée. ATTENTION : NE PAS trop serrer
l’ampoule. Une ampoule trop serrée vous empêcherait
de l’enlever facilement ou risquerait d’endommager la
lampe ou l’ampoule.
4. Pour retirer une ampoule (G) déjà installée dans la
lampe, dévissez l’ampoule de la douille (D) en tournant
dans le sens antihoraire jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit dégagée.

Veuillez noter qu’une fois en marche, l’intensité des
ampoules OttLite®ne peut pas être réglée.
Ce système d’éclairage est conçu pour être utilisé
avec OttLite®type (numéro de style ED15-S).

ENSAMbLAjE DE LA LáMPARA
1. Remueva todas las partes, incluyendo la base (A),
y colóquelas en el piso.
2. Enrosque a mano el poste inferior (B) en la base (A) en
la dirección de las manecillas del reloj hasta que quede
apretado.
3. Sujete la pantalla (E) al portalámpara (D) con el anillo (F).
4. Enrosque el anillo (F) en el portalámpara (D) en la
dirección de las manecillas del reloj hasta que quede lo
suficientemente apretado como para sujetar la pantalla
firmemente.
5. Para ajustar la pantalla (E), afloje los tornillos (C).
Coloque la pantalla (E) en la posición deseada, y luego
apriete los tornillos (C) hasta que queden apretados. NO
FUERCE las tuercas porque podría dañar la lámpara.
6. Instale los bombillos siguiendo las instrucciones de
INSTALACIÓN/REEMPLAZO DE BOMBILLO
7. Ajuste la altura del poste (H) girando la perilla (I) en la
dirección contraria a la de las manecillas del reloj. Para
apretar, gire la perilla (l) en la dirección de las manecillas
del reloj.
8. Enchufe el cable en un tomacorriente estándar de 120v.
9. Para encender o apagar la lámpara, utilice el interruptor
localizado sobre el cable (J).
INSERCIóN y RETIRO DEL bOMbILLO.
1. Cerciórese de que la lámpara no esté enchufada en un
tomacorriente.
2. Si la lámpara estuvo recientemente encendida, déjela
enfriarse durante aproximadamente 5 minutos antes
de continuar.
3. Para instalar el bombillo (G) en el portalámpara (D),
enrosque la base del bombillo en el portalámpara (D) en
la dirección de las manecillas del reloj hasta que quede
bien ajustado. CUIDADO: No apriete demasiado el
bombillo ya que al hacerlo, podría ser difícil retirarlo o
podría dañar la lámpara o el bombillo.
4. Para retirar el bombillo (G) ya instalado en la lámpara,
desenrósquelo del portalámpara (D) en la dirección
contraria a las manecillas del reloj.
