The inner cover (see fig.1, item7) closely encompasses the Floam cells and foam base and
holds them in position. The filled inner cover forms the core of the seat cushion (see fig.2) and is
protected by a liquid-repellent outer cover (see fig.1, item8).

firmness depending on the size, posture requirements and anatomy.
3 Intended use
3.1 Indications for use
The product is intended exclusively as a wheelchair seat cushion for adults who use a wheel
chair on a temporary or permanent basis.
The optimally suited seat cushion must be selected by trained, qualified personnel depending on
the size and individual sitting needs of the user. It may only be used with a wheelchair in the
appropriate size.
The allowed user weight is 35kg [77lbs] to 250kg [551lbs]. We assume no liability if the
product is used outside the allowed user weight range.
3.2 Indications
Increased decubitus risk with temporary or permanent wheelchair use.
3.3 Contraindications
Seek professional advice from qualified medical personnel before selecting the appropriate
product, particularly where there is an existing case or history of pressure sores/decubitus ulcers.
3.3.1 Absolute Contraindications
There are no known contraindications given proper use.
3.3.2 Relative Contraindications
If redness of the skin or other problems occur during use, consult a physician or therapist as
soon as possible.
