SAFETY INFORMATION
Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install the
product.
WARNING
+Follow the installation instructions carefully. Proper installation is the installer’s responsibility.
+Failure to follow correct installation procedures can result in the faucet being loose, which can
result in serious injury.
CAUTION
+Check local building codes before you begin installation to ensure compliance.
PREPARATION
Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package
contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to
assemble the product. Contact customer service for replacement parts.
Estimated Assembly Time: 35 minutes (including removal of old faucet)
Tools Required for Assembly (not included): Adjustable Wrench, Silicone Sealant
Helpful Tools (not included): Safety Goggles
PREPARATION
1. Shut off the water supply (As seen in Figure 1). Remove the
old faucet. Clean the mounting surface.

2. Place the Faucet Spout (A) into center opening in sink. 3. From below the sink, slide the Spout Washer (F) and Spout
Bracket (G) onto the spout waterway. Thread the Spout Nut
(H) onto the spout waterway. Tighten Spout Nut (H)
clockwise with a wrench as seen in Figure 2.

4. Insert HOT Spout Handle (B) on the left opening in sink.
Insert COLD Spout Handle (C) on the right opening in sink.
Align handles as shown (Handles are in off position).
5. Attach Handle Washer (D), and Handle Nut (E) to threaded
Spout Handle waterway. Securely tighten Handle Nut (E) by
hand. Repeat with second Spout Handle waterway.

DRAIN INSTALLATION
7. For the upper drain assembly insert the pop-up body (2)
into the sink. Ensure that the upper gasket (1) rests securely
between the top of the sink and the top of the pop-up body
(2) as shown in the Figure 3.
8. Screw the Lower Drain Gasket (3), Clear Washer (4) and
Drain Mounting Nut onto the Upper Pop-Up Body by
turning Drain Mounting Nut clockwise. Insert Lower Drain
Gasket into Lower Drain Nut (6) and turn clockwise until
secure as shown in the Figure 4.
9. Connect the Lower Pop-Up Body (5) to the trap.

6. For installing the Drain Assembly unit remove the bottom
drain assembly (6B): which includes Drain Mounting Gasket
(3), Drain Mounting Nut and Clear Washer (4), Lower Drain
Gasket (5), Lower Drain Nut and Lower Pop-Up Body (6)
from the top drain assembly (6A): which includes Upper
Gasket (1) and Pop-Up Body (2).

SUPPLY LINE INSTRUCTIONS
ATTACHING QUICK CONNECT SUPPLY LINES
10. To attach the Quick Connect Supply Lines (K) to the faucet
body connection, push and hold button on front of Quick
Supply Lines (K) as seen in Figure 5. With button
compressed, insert Spout Quick Connect until connections
snap together as seen in Figure 6.
12. Attach the Quick Connect Supply Line connection (K) to
the Spout Handle HOT (B) connection. Push until the
connections snap together as seen in Figure 7.

11. Once connections snap together release the button and
gently pull down on Quick Connect Supply Lines (K) to
ensure a secure connection.
13. Gently pull down to ensure the connections have been
made. Repeat Steps 12 and 13 with the Spout Handle
COLD (C) connection.

14. Take a strip of Plumber’s Tape (M) and wrap it clockwise
around the threads of the Spout Handle HOT (B) water line
before tightening the connections (See Figure 8). Connect
end of Supply Line (L) and tighten in a clockwise direction.
Repeat with Spout Handle COLD (C).
15. Attach Supply Lines (L) to shutoff valves (Figure10).
Tighten with wrench until secure (Figure 11).
ATTACHING SUPPLY LINES
NOTE: Before tightening the faucet connector to the Supply
Line (L), apply a second wrench to the supply tube
fitting as shown in Figure 9. This will prevent the supply
tube from moving or twisting when tightening the
faucet connector. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.

FLUSHING AND CHECKING FOR LEAKS
14. Ensure the Spout Handles (B+C) are in the off position
and turn on the water supply (See Figure 12) to check for
leaks. If you discover any leaks, check your connections to
ensure they are properly installed.
16. Turn off the hot and cold Spout Handles (B+C) and reinstall
Aerator using Aerator Removal Tool (J). Your Vitality Faucet
is now fully installed and ready for use!
15. Remove the Aerator using Aerator Removal Tool (J) by
inserting tool into Faucet Spout (A) and rotating in a
counter-clockwise direction as shown in Figure 13. Turn on
the hot and cold Spout Handles (B+C) to allow the water
to run for at least one minute.

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION
There are leaks underneath
the handle.
One of the Supply Lines (L) has
come loose or was not properly
tightened.
1. Retape connection using
supplied Plumber’s Tape (M).
2. Reconnect Supply Lines (L)
being sure to not over-tighten.
The Aerator leaks or has an
inconsistent water flow pattern.
The Aerator is dirty or misfitted. 1. Remove the Aerator (See Step
15) and check for debris in the
aerator screens.
2. Ensure the Aerator is properly
re-installed.
There is leaking from the sink
drain at the base of the sink.
The sink has a rough or irregular
surface.
1. Apply a thin line silicone sealant
to the beveled side of the Upper
Gasket from the Lower Drain
Assembly (6A, 1).
2. Re-tighten and test for leaks.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
+Clean carefully by gently wiping with a grit-free damp cloth.
+Use only mild soap with water.
+Never use acids, harsh chemicals or abrasive detergents to clean the faucet surface.
